I'm trying to remove a part simplified rep but it says it's referenced by drawing I have in memory. I checked the drawing and removed all references to the rep. Every view I have references the master model and there are no erased views that may point to simplified rep. Am I stuck with this rep in the model? Any help would be appreciated.   Thanks  

I would like to create a subscription for a remote thing. I would like to trigger this subscription when the property source quality (good, bad ) was changed. Could you please suggest a solution for resolving this issue?  Thanks, Terza

Hello,   I've spent some time working with a Windchill 11.2 instance and I've found the usage of Change Object Templates introduces a bit of a regression, at least for our use case. In previous versions of Windchill (11.0 and lower) the use of Change Object Templates was optional. In these prior versions there is a preference: Change Management -> Default Change Task Name   Setting this preference allows you to create change notices with a default change task which generally saves user clicks.   In Windchill 11.2 the system forces us to use Change Object Templates and removes this preference. This can cause a bit of a problem especially for those of us who have our change objects configured with mandatory attributes. When you create a new template this is essentially just an instance of your change object that lives in the Site or Org level. I want to utilize an offset section that I created within my assembly but when I go to apply it within my drawing the option is greyed out. This seems like I'm missing something obvious here, is this a limitation of Creo? Is it because it's a 3d view and not a planar view or is it because i am using a shaded view? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

I have a very simple example. I have a property value (number) that is updates every second on a thing. I can display this value in a mashup but I cannot figure out how to auto update the value every time it is changed. I have read many documents and none of the solutions have worked. I have tried this link as well. https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS243895?&source=search   Any suggestions? This should be a pretty simple one, I am just new to mashups.

Hi,   This is a bit of a support question, but with so many people getting off Chrome due to the lightbox popup issue, I now have problems with Firefox not displaying the 3D thumbnail on details page for CAD and Parts and the Visualization panel in the PSB. The 3D thumbnail loads, but its immediately replaced with a gray color. If you RMB in the gray box, the 3D thumbnail will appear and spin, but as soon as you let go of the MMB, it goes back to gray. Weird.    Thoughts?    Work-around is to turn off 3D thumbnails in Preferences -> Visualization

I'm looking for a simple way to toggle all the components in my simplified to be the opposite display. Master rep items set to exclude and exclude items set to master rep. I have an assembly the way I want it but I have A LOT of trial and error / options / unneeded components that would like to get rid of or evaluate their need.  

Using ThingWorx 8.5.7, is it possible to collapse or hide a container while working in the Mashup Builder?  For example, I have a fixed size container across the top of my mashup that is normally collapsed when users view the mashup.  A button click expands that container to display help and other information.  It's big (tall) enough that it takes up a lot of space on the screen when I work in Mashup Builder.  I would like to collapse or hide it while working on the mashup.  Is it possible?  For now, I change the fixed size to a small value to get most of it out of the way while I work on the mashup, then I usually forget to set it back to the normal size later.  

Hello,   I have a video file in path: http://localhost/Thingworx/FileRepositories/myRepository/myVideo.mp4    I tried to use this url in my HTML5 Video tag as a source src.   Video starts, but I cannot seek on slider. When I try to manually set the currentTime value in JS, it resets to Zero immediately. When I try to send a request with 'Range' header, it always responds with full content.   My TWX runs on Tomcat server. I tried to edit web.xml file by setting the useAcceptRanges and allowPartialPut on true, but it didn't help.   I think it's an Partial Content issue, but how can I fix it?

I have a drawing format that I am creating. I have it all set to go but when I add it to a drawing, the only way to get the text to fill in is to add "&" to the text in the pulldown. How do I get the "&" to be included in the symbol so I don't have to add it all the time? Thanks.

Hello,   I would like to implement a digital signature in Thingworx. The users should not login to the application, the system should ask for the password in a popup each time the user push a button. The authentication should be done by LDAP. I had a look to the LDAP Directory Service, but I couldn't find a way to validate a password. Is there another way to implement a signature?

This is most likely a very stupid question but I do not succeed in this simple program. Attached is a MC 15 file I would like to automate in a small program the process mentioned in the highlighted comment. Would anyone be so kind to help me out as I do not "see" it right now.

Hello ptc community I have tried to find the maximum value of a function evaluated in a defined range, however the max or min function can only be applied to vectors. I would like to know if there is a function or some way that allows me to obtain the maximum value of a function. I try to vectorize the results as attached in the example, however this is limited to functions lacking units as far as I could see. I would appreciate any help This is the function that I have been working on, it is only referential but with this I wanted to imply that I prefer to use units during the calculation. (for more details see the attached sheet)   here I show how it is possible to vectorize a function already evaluated in a defined range but the above is not possible if units are used

How to set the target folder for part within a customized auto association?   I read support article CS277056, there they talk about the EPMWorkspaceHelper.manager.setTargetFolder API. But when I tried to use it, it needs the new WTPart to be persistence, but on check in an error occurres with the message "The part is persistent!".   When the WTPart is not persistent the setTargetFolder function gets a null instead of a object id and doesn't execute. I get the following error: Cannot set target folder for objects that are not newly created.  1 out of 1 objects are not new.   Does someone have experience with it, and knows a solution? Because I want the new WTParts to be in the same context as the EPMDocument when changing folder for new EPMDocument but not in the same folder, so the preference 'Store New Parts with CAD Documents' is not a solution.

Hello! I have a file i worked on all day that all of a sudden just crashed. Now when i try to open the file it reports that "The file type is not supported". If i open a backup from yesterday, the file opens fine. But all my work from a day is gone. Is there any chance you can recover it? I can attach it down below with the log file.

1) kepserver is connected to MSSQL db and a status value for a parameter in db table is made as 1. 2) This parameter's status value of is getting reflected in Kepservers's quick client. 3) I have connected the Thingworx with the Kepserver with connection status showing success. 4) In Thingworx > configuration and Setup >added a parameter> went to status 5) In status i defined the Running status  expression to the the kepserver parameter and set '=1'   Now the issue is the Status for that parameter in not showing "Running" in Production KPI's  page. The status 1 is reflection from DB to Kepserver and Kepserver connection with Manufacturing app is good,  - The application key is not yet expired. - The expression in "status" is correct. But the Running status is not reflecting in  Production KPI's  page  What's wrong  

Is there a way to close all of the popups that are currently visible without knowing what they are? I'm trying to avoid using a long list of 'hidepopup' for every single popup that could possibly be visible.
