Hello guys, Let me expose some issue that occurs during learn step on Learn Path module. Exactly in the guide called  “Use the Edge MicroServer (EMS) to Connect to ThingWorx”. In this guide the EMS can`t connect to the server. Appear code 201 error.   I tried change the log level, changed to DEBUG. Like this link expose. https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/ERROR-Connecting-WS-EMS-on-Raspberry-Pi/td-p/569910       Became the same error.   I noted a little strange difference between the number of folders that appears in the example…     Maybe it would be the problem? I have recently been doing some things in the Java SDK tutorial and I have gotten to a point where I can connect to the thingWorx hosted trial server, create a remoteThing, and bind it to a Thing that has been created in ThingWorx with the same name. What I am trying to do now is either.. A) add a property via Java code and then add values to it, this way I can update these every n seconds. or B) Simply add values to a property created in ThingWorx already. Hi everyone, I disturb you for a problem I have in generating the ".stl" files (in binary format), starting from a ".prt".For some files there are no problems, for others the attached message appears.I have to export the models to ".stl" to use them on a simulation program that we have to test. Hi everyone,   I am struggling with configuring the time series chart in my vuforia studio. I don't know why the chart doesn't start with the first timestamp. The chart doesn't look good because the data is on the right side. The left side of the chart is blank because there is no data. I use QueryPropertyHistory to populate the data. I have checked that the returned data is correct. How to configure the timestamp on the time series chart?

Hello, I have a variable on kepware of a setpoint value that is sent to thingworx only on the data change. This variable can remain fixed for days but I need to view daily trends with related reports with this variable. Is it possible to force scripts that, once a day, this value is still written to the database even if it has not changed?

Hi,    I have created one grid layout and placed 4 icons on it. it is fit perfectly when it is on landscape mode but it doesn't fit in portrait mode.    can someone tell me how to solve this or any sample solution available to create the grid layout using .js code based on the orientation?   

Hello Community,   for a Presentation where I want to explain a couple of basic physical principles I need a picture of a deformed model, which I can get fairly easy but only with the blue color or the color from the corresponding meassurment unit. What I am looking for is a way to show my deformed Model but with the colors I originaly used in the model (e.g. Metal Color and so on). Is there a way to achieve this? Maybe via exporting my deformed Model in some way? I tried some "workarounds" but non worked so far... Best regards, Lukas

Hi ,  I am looking for Downtime calculation in hours, i have two columns in table where i am logging both Downtime and uptime as timestamp with their values 0 and 1. But i want to calculate it in hours , how can we get this using javascript or any twx functions?    Thanks 

I ran a 4 axis tool path a while ago and didn't have any trouble. This was with Creo 2.0, we just switched to Creo 5.0 and now I am having trouble doing it now. I am trying to do a surface mill but it only shows 3 axis available. I went back and looked at the Work center and I have the number of axis's picked to 4. I used this same work center on the other program but it doesn't seem to work the same. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong or if I am missing a setting somewhere else. Can someone give me some hints?   Thanks 

I repeatedly encounter the following problem: When I use 'solve' to solve an equation or a system of equations, it works fine as long as I don't try to assign the result (see minimal example below and in the attachment), which is quite essential. It just starts to complain with 'This variable is undefined' but does not even mark any single variable.   - swapping the working and not working solve around does not change anything - giving the output variables different names does not help     P.S.: This must have been answered somewhere. I did find some similar posts but none helped me.

hello, i want to show some data after clicking on dropdown list. if i have dropdown "level" which contain list as "Beginner", "Intermidiate" and "Advanced". And i have mashup which contain workout list. So if i select "Beginner" then in mashup it show only "Beginner" list. Please refer below attachment.    

I'm following the install documentation for thingworx foundation and I get to the step where I need to create a self-signed certificate. Unfortunately my Java keystore won't except the certificate that is created. It is rejected with this error > java.lang.Exception: Input not an X.509 certificate" I've tried this solution https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/keytool-error-java-lang-Exception-Input-not-an-X-509-certificate/td-p/623652 but the thingworx foundation installer won't accept the certificate file created. Any ideas?

Hello,    I am having issues meshing my weld that connects the curved side of the tube to the flat part of the plate (please see attached photo). The error mentions that I should "modify my geometry". My guess is the weld converges to a sharp angle that makes the weld hard to mesh (I assume).   I have the following questions: What is the best way to modify the geometry of the weld?  What meshing controls should I use, if any?   I have been wasting too much time on this and need to make progress. Many thanks in advance for the help! Also, side note, where does everyone go to find the answers to their Creo 4 questions. I cannot find that many reliable resources! Anyone recommend a YouTube channel or a website? Is here the best place to find answers? Surely not...    

I found the database table for Affected Objects and it is called AffectedActivityData.  But I cannot find the table for Resulting Objects.  Does anyone know what that table is called?  I'm learning how to join tables in SQL server and I have the results of a join that are duplicating rows if they part is in both the Affected Objects and Resulting Objects of a CN. I selected AK Jairath textbook because it goes back to 1992, 30 years ago, and its closer to that classic style of problem solving textbook. 2nd edition in 1994, and reprinted in 1996.Solutions & Problems in Control System.
