I've been using the Font Awesome widget, but it only works for v4 icons.  I'm not familiar enough with widget programming to update the widget.  Also, I don't see the Font Awesome widget in the marketplace anymore.   Or, is there a way of incorporating Font Awesome icons without the widget?

For what purpose the above functionality used? Is it for hiding the code at composer level? If not, how can we hide code of any service and providing the leverage of only executing the service at composer level?   Please advise on both use-cases i.e. the use of allow override and process of hiding the code of any service for a thing/template/shape.   Thanks in advance.

After the installer for windows failed, I tried linux.   This is what I got: --- There has been an error. Failed to install dependencies: Chef Client The application will exit now. --- I installed the Oracle Java 8 JDK 202 and put it into the path, same I did on Windows.   Is there ANY installer that actually works?

I want to use the Quick Tables utility to make an assembly drwing, but when I click on the Quick Tables tab, I got an error message and Creo crashes immediately. The message says that the file "bom_description_bom.tbl" was created with a commercial version of Creo, and I am using an educational version.   I am using Creo Parametrics Student Edition 3.0 M190.   I could do the same thing with an older version of Creo Student 3.0, but I can't remember wich build it was.   Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I can't use a newer version of Creo.

Hi,   I would like to maintain the same piping line stock throughout the company and thought a good place would be to keep it in Windchill. I was able to place it in WCH but "looking" for it in the piping module, I cannot see it in WCH. Any idea on how to get this working? Or is it not possible and do I have to resort to keeping common line stocks in a "normal" server location?

Hello dear Creo/ProE users,   We just wanted to install newest edition of Creo 7, that is Creo 7.0.1.0 but no succes.   PTC seems that has decided to (add/delete few lines of code) eliminate usage of USB network cards with no annoucement or anything simmilar.   In newer computers is only wireless card and if it doesnt work, Creo 7.0.1.0 and newer cannot be used! Does anyone has any tought on this or possible solution?   Best Regards, CreoUser

i have one mashup which have two radio buttons, so if i am selecting 1st radio button "Staff" and after that i am selecting 2nd radio button "Member" then 1st radio button is also still selected, i want to select only one radio button at a time. refer below attachment

His client will be used on a day to day activity of monitoring the systems, service, etc.   Give me an idea or a sample use case: How to do a plant design in creo How to build vuforia use case for plant automation or any sample use case for plant automation  I need to use view the entire plant, discuss with the client for the requirement demonstrate the sample work visualize the entire plant flow and when they use hololens and walk around the plat to find out more details.  could you please provide me a use case or best practices to demonstrate. 

I have a simple question. I have 3 buttons and I want each button to display a different set of data in a line chart when they are clicked. The previous line chart is replaced but the new button's data. So, if data1 button is clicked, data1 shows in line chart, if data2 button is clicked, data2 shows in line chart and so on. The problem I am having is the line chart can only have one dataset bind to it. I can change the click bind for each button but it doesn't change the fact that the line chart can only have one bind.  The red is what I think I am trying to get this to do if possible.

does anyone know of a way to generate an event when leaving a mashup?   I have a UI mashup which allows a user to configure some settings. I wish to write those settings to a file without the user having to press a 'save' button. I was hoping that I could use the menu widget that drives the mashups but there doesn't seem to be any events emitted. I have a service that dynamically returns the data (menu items) for the menu and tried to use the 'selected row changed' event, but it doesn't seem like this is emitted when used with a menu widget.   Thanks in advance K  

Hello All-  I am working on the assembly family table drawing. Each instance uses the different numbers of the hardware. Is there any way creo can count the number of hardware on each assembly and can add that information on the family table column so I can show that in my drawing? I really appreciate it if someone helps me with this or any suggestion.     Thank you so much.

Good day,our server that has flexnet on it recently crashed. We' have reestablished it but then Creo no longer worked.   One thing I thought might be the issue is that the newly restored server has a new MAC address.  it did turn out that that was the case, so I went online and requested our licenses to be switched over to the new address.   we then updated the license on flexnet, however, when I try to run Creo on my local machine, I get this error:       an issue related to foundation visualization. I'm honestly not quite sure what that is for. Seems to be related to windchill?  We've tried everything and just can't get it to work (including reinstalling flexnet).  Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.thanks!

Hi,   I have an service which uses the SearchThingsByTemplate of SearchFunctions. In most times the service response quickly but sometime the service doesn't response or need extrem long time to response (~3 minutes).   The result includes only 13 Entities (Remote Devices). Maybe this has something todo with the isConnected-Check or so? I have no clue what I can do or where I can search for debugging.

Hello everyone,   I have an exportet .twx file from the trial hosted server from about a year ago (think it was version 8.2 at that time).   Now I have a freshly installed instance of TWX Foundation on our local Servers on which I would like to import the twx. file. (I think I simply exported "All Entities" in the hosted Server).   Unfortunately I get the following error: Invalid request: java.lang.Exception: Import Failed: DataShape [LocationDataShape] Already Exists, With Different Case.   Unfortunately I am not able to find the "LocationDataShape" DataShape, even if I include all system objects in the search.These are the ones that contain the word "location":-locationValueStream -locationDeviationAlert -locationMatchAlert   Has anyone encountered a similar issue and does know how to solve it? Any help with that is appreciated very much! Hi there, I'm researching if/how you can schedule a publishing job through the publishing engine.    For example, Someone has a really large document that takes hours to publish, we would like to able to hold off on publishing these until say 9:00 pm when everyone's left the office.    I've been looking through some documentation I found online and if i'm understanding it correctly, it looks like it needs to be custom made with Java.

hi,   i noticed a weird thing, possibly a bug, with classic mathcad. i found a trick reading through old posts. i'm using the trick now. however, i'm wondering if others have observed this.   if you try to plot force in units of lbf by switching the unit system to US, the program plots Force*gravity instead. if you take what mathcad plots and divide by g, then it will show force in units of lbf.   the trick i found on here was to just use the metric system and divide force by lbf. that works good. so i'll use this going forward. however, this seems like a bug when trying to use the built in US unit system. the program outputs any force variable in lbf. it just plots that variable in lbf * g instead of plotting lbf.   anthony

Hi, an issue here with calculated values in a drawing table (please see attached picture). Using more digits after the comma is not an option. If instead floor a ceil option is used the the wrong value goes correct, but the rest of the values for the total weight goes wrong. Is there a way to have all values correctly calculated. Thank you in advance.    

Hi,   Just want to find out if someone has tried such customization before.   We would like attributes to still be populated/edited from the Creo side but it should be read-only in the Windchill user interface.   I have played around in Attribute manager but making settings read-only there then prohibits Creo from being able to save to Windchill.   Appreciate your help.   Thank you

Creo 3, M070I'd like to use two conditions to filter a repeat region, can I do this?What I mean is that I want to filter all assemblies out of my region except the ones with the parameter BOM_DISPLAY set to YES.  So, I'd like to display assemblies only if these two conditions are met:&asm.mbr.type  == ASSEMBLY*&asm.mbr.bom_display  == yesBut, I believe that if I put those tow things in the repeat region filters the only items I'll get are those assemblies.  I'd like to get all the parts too (except skeletons and parts where BOM_DISPLAY is set to no).So, what I want is:&asm.mbr.type  != SKELETON*&asm.mbr.bom_display  != no&asm.mbr.type  != ASSEMBLY*EXCEPT where:&asm.mbr.type  == ASSEMBLY*AND:&asm.mbr.bom_display  == yesOf course, that's not going to work.   How can I accomplish all of this?
