Hi, I have installed Thingworx 8.5.3 version recently. Yeah, it is fresh installation. After trial expiration brought paid license and trying to configure. Every time it is showing ignored_license_capablity_response.bin. I followed all the suggested by PTC but still the issue is same.    Please find attached NavigateLicensingConfigurator_install.log,  Application.log   Any suggestion that would help to resolve this issue ?

Dear Team,   I am using a Student version provided by the University of Stuttgart. I am learning a course PTC CREO in online platform of Udemy. In my course, certain additional worksheet drawing, parts, assemblies have been provided for us to learn and draw and get used to it. Obviously, they would have been done in Commercial Version. I am not able to open the files and I get the message  "Cannot retrieve model"   For any file, this is the response. It would be great if there is a way to access the files. Hi,    I am Rynaldi. I have a B&R PLC running an OPC-UA Server and am trying to connect it somehow to Thingworx. What is the possible way to do this actually? I've read several posts in the forums but they are mentioning different methods, such as using the OPC UA Client from the marketplace (which somehow I couldn't find anymore in the marketplace), using Kepware Server, using KepServerEx. So I'm confused what is the latest method to communicate with an OPC UA server running in a PLC actually? I actually have access to the Thingworx Manufacturing Apps as well. Would that be any help for the OPC UA communication?   Later, I want to use this information in the Vuforia Studio actually. The idea is to get the real information from collected by the PLC and present this information in the AR Experience designed in Vuforia Studio.    I would appreciate any help 🙂   Best regards,   Rynaldi Maydrian Lauren

Hello,   Currently I´m facing some issues writing a custom Java Extension that has a service with a parameter of type InfoTable. The Service parameter is annotated like this: @ThingworxServiceParameter(name = "param", description = "", baseType = "INFOTABLE", aspects = {"isEntityDataShape:true", "dataShape:TestDataShape" }) InfoTable param   Here the baseType is set to "InfoTable" and in the aspects array a DataShape is pointed that exists on the ThingWorx platform.   When I try to execute the Service interactively and want to enter the parameter values I get the following message:  I am using ThingWorx 8.4.5-b102 and I am pretty sure this has been working with ThingWorx 7.4.   Has anybody any adivce or can reproduce this issue?   Thanks, Keijo

Hi all,   I am working with two monitors. One monitor is 1920 x 1080 and the other is 1366 x 768.   I have created a mashup type responsive and that mashup I am using widget called value display (to show some informations).   I was able to realized that the value display is responsive widget but the font that is into the value is not.   Followed below the images that can help to undertand the problem:   1920 x 1080                                                                   1366 x 768   My question is: There is any way to do the value display's font be responsive too?   Regards, Leonardo.

Hi,   I am using the Java sdk to connect to the TW server via ConnectedThingsClient. I need to dynamically create Things, and add properties to them. For this I'm doing -   client.invokeService(Resources, "EntityServices", "CreateThing", inputCollection, 3000);client.invokeService(Things, "EnableThing", "<thingName>", new Vc(), 3000);client.invokeService(Things, "RestartThing", "<thingName>", new Vc(), 3000);  The enableThing  service call returns an infotable with row containing enabled = false. Even after the restart call, the thing is still disabled. I have tried to restart the client connection in between 2nd and 3rd invoke call.   If I do the same set of actions via REST apis, for the same credentials, it works.    What might be going wrong with the java calls? In the use of hexadecimal numbering, Mathcad gives an error when I use the hexadecimal number C, which is normally a unit of measurement and also for c which is the speed of light, the same for F. What should I do to avoid falling into error ?

Hi, I'm trying to configure modelcheck to add 2x parameters to every model in a large assembly.    I have model update set to Y, so model check is 'allowed' to modify the models to add params:   I have PARAMCHECK set to error:  And I have added parameters for it to check against:    But whenever I run the modelcheck regen or interactive, it reports 0 errors 0 warnings.     On that note, It's also appearing in the white box of the RHS of the screen but not in the in-built browser. I have used modelcheck in the grey/tan in-browser context before but have never seen that window/context appear on this computer, I've only ever had the white box.  I do have "Show Report" set to Y, which I thought would make it appear in the browser but it's not working.        Can anyone shed some light on this please? I don't fancy having to manually define the parameters in every single part/aseembly   Thanks

Hello, I'm starting my adventure with Mathcad. I have two the same files written in Mathcad 14 and Mathcad Prime 3.0.But it only works well in Mathcad 14 and I don't understand why.  In Prime 3.0 when i trying to plot the graph i have: "Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers." I noticed that there are many people with similar problems. I have read all topics related to it and I still don't know what is wrong with my file. Can you help me?

I have an existing report template in our Production system that is linked to a report as well as several saved reports. I've developed a new version of it in our Development environment, and I'd like to load the updated report via QML and have everything downstream update accordingly. Is this possible? Normal behavior when you load via QML with the same name is that it will add a 1 on the end so you end up with 2 reports

I'm seminew to Mathcad, and I know my question is fairly basic, however, I was not able to find the answer either through google nor through clicking around in the PTC online manual.   This is my first attempt at making vectorized calculations, however, I keep failing doing them. The program simply shuts me down by giving me the error message that I must use a matrix or a scalar.   The equation I try to do is fairly straightforward:   1) Define a vector with a range x:=1..5 2) Implement an equation H*sin(x/L*pi) everything works swell, until I try to save that value, simply by putting something in front of it. Let's say: y:=H*sin(x/L*pi) At this point it suddenly decides to tell me no, it must be a scalar, I'm not allowed to do this.   What's the reason? How do I get around it? Second question: Is it possible to have a simple index system such as x(1), rather than x_1? I haven't figured the indexing system at all, btw. Everytime I try to call any of the vector value

Hi, I'd like to split the numeric solution of my equation to show the influence of the two factors without having the define new variables. I need to keep it as simple has possible. Hi I created a logic parameter (type "Yes No"), with "YES" or "NO" in several parts. when I display the parameter in a table in a drawing the values are showing up at "TRUE" OR "FALSE". Is there a way to get them to show as "YES" "NO" ?   also my part description parameter (type "String") is too short for the customers descriptions is there a way to increase the length? Hi ,  I couldn't find  the widget "layout" in ThingWorx 8.5.5 while it exists in 8.5.4 and previous versions .    If this widget is obsolete in 8.5.5 ,  which widget can be used to  implement a sidebar which supports expand & collapse ?     Regards, Sean

Hello All,   We have one functionality "Part Number Generator" in Customization tab which helps the users to have a certain set of part numbers in store for them if they want to create new WTParts.   Now I want to restrict certain users from using this functionality, either hide the functionality or disable the option.   Please instruct me on how to proceed.    P.S: I have done customization in Java code but not so much with the jsp and js and all.   Thanks and Regards, Hari R
