Greetings all.   Does anybody know if there is a way to take a screenshot inside of Creo within a window? I currently use the printscreen button and paste it into Paint. I then select the area I want and put that in an email. I am looking for a way to select a window in Creo and paste that into an email without having to use Paint.   Thank you in advance for your assistance.

1. example pfcUDFCreateExamples.html comes with Creo at "...\Common Files\M230\weblink\weblinkexamples"  2. It can work but needs a click to specify the csys to place the UDF <--- problem !!! csys is given whey still needs a click?  find the source code and necessary .prt .gph to see the symptom. Hi,   Is there a way by which we can show a Specific component of a Sub-Assy in the BOM TABLE of the Main Assy??I am aware that this can be done through Flat and Recursive Option, but I am wondering if this can be done through the use of Relations/ Rules so that the manual work can be eliminated. The Pipe part number is unique.   Example: The Main ASSY below is made of Sub-Assy1 and Sub-Assy2. I would like to show the Pipe in the BOM table of Main Assy. so the Idea is to include all the pipes in the Bom table of main assy if they are ever used in any of the sub assemblies.   Final BOM table: Thanks, Deepak

I'm frustrated   trying to simplify   results from   symbolic   engine (new or legacy). i have tried multiple symbolic   options.   For some reason, if I go in and   manually do an   equate, stuff sort of works? Prime 6 file.

I have Windchill set to automatically create WTparts upon check-in of the CAD parts from a user workspace.  Our default version for new parts is A, but sometimes we want them in Windchill at 0. When that happens, we revise the part in the user workspace to version 0 and then do the check-in. However, the WTparts are being created at version A, not version 0 of the CAD parts. For version A parts this is fine. Is there a setting in Windchill that will create the WTparts at the same version as the CAD parts at initial check-in. I suppose if we added the extra step of doing an Associate before the revise, then we could get everything to version 0 first, but that is an extra step, prone to error that I am trying to avoid.   Creo 4 m080 Windchill 11.0 m 030 CPS16

Creo 4.0 M120, Windchill  11.2.1.2 We recently changed VARs and migrated from Creo 3.0 M140. I have noticed the timing for logging into my session now comes after a workspace action request. In Creo 3.0, it was immediately after launch. The new timing for login is not conducive to crashes/improper closings and attempting to RETRIEVE open files at the crash. If we chose to RETRIEVE, we get "failure to open ****" messages that we either are prompted to ignore or cancel the retrieval. If we ignore (which is usually for all the files), after all the prompts, nothing opens and then the user is prompted to login. If they had been logged in before, all files would've been retrieved....in theory.   So here's the question....where is the preference to change when the user is prompted to login? I have been searching (as Windchill Admin) for 3 days and have found nothing relatable. Is it an upper level system Admin preference setting?  Thank you for your help. (PS...I'm a super use

Ok, this crap is driving me freakin crazy!I have users both in the US and in India that are receiving this error when trying to check in objects into the system. So of course having no clue as to what this meant other than it has the word java in it, I proceeded to let tech support try to help. They came back to me with the following change that they say needed to be made in Oracle:I had IT execute this in the system and it completed successfully, but yet the problem still remains....H....E....L....P!!!!!!!!

Hello,   We're developing an application for creo that uses the pfcls vb api. We need support for multiple version of creo and what I've observed is that each major version of Creo (>X<.y.y.y X=major version) requires its own pfcls assembly (.dll).    Is this true?    Thanks

Hi All! I'm just getting to grips with putting together mechanisms in Creo Parametric 3.0, and I'm trying to get a straight line linkage to work. When I modelled it I could simulate movement by Ctrl+Alt+LMB, but as soon as I put some relations in, the dragging function stopped working. Hi everyone,   I'm using the CSDK with DEADBAND thresholds to reduce the number of property updates. This is for saving mobile bandwidth while still having a reasonable resolution when values change.   However, for the values there are certain fixed values which should always be pushed. At the moment they are not, as they fall within the active deadband. For example:   Property: litres of water in a tank Threshold value: 20   This will push ONLY if the value changes by more than 20. If the tank is at 30 litres and the new measurement records a change of -23 litres, the updated value will be 7. With this, the tank level can not be determined to be empty or not.   So the idea is now to force a push, once the value hits a certain fixed number, in this case 0 litres (or for filling up, the max capacity), even if that change does not violate the threshold.   Is there a way to implement this without dropping or changing the threshold?   Thanks and Regards,

Community,   The below symbol was made in creo 5, but only the triangle and left-hand leader.  The number was entered as a note.  How can I made a triangle symbol where the system prompts me to enter the number, like the flag note that comes in the pallette?  Thanks in advance.       I was trying to get \note_#\ into the custom symbol.  Does anyone know how to do this?

Community,   When I activate any one of the models in the model tree, it will not activate, and the entire assembly remains the default gray.  I am using Creo 6, and I have never encountered this type of problem before.  Has anyone seen this type of problem, and is there a fix for it?  Thanks in advance. 

Hi everyone,   I built the following chart to demonstrate the hourly production of each production line that our customer has.     For this I created a data shape to compute the time and production of the lines.       After it I created a thing       Where in the properties and alerts tab I created an infotable associated with the data shape to store the necessary values, however these values were manually entered by me and I would like to link variables that I have in another thing, because when the value of the variable changes it will change the drawing of the graph. Is it possible to do that?

Hello I use the HTML5 video estension and it works, however on the played video I cannot move the video cursor back or forward (to go directly to a specific position). When release the cursor into a position, it goes back to the previous playing position. It just works moving back the cursor to the startup of the video. I have this problem just with Chrome. Edge and Firefox works fine.   The mp4 file is ok, by testing it on a local html file with the <video> tag all is ok (even with chrome) Is someone using this extension fine with Chrome ?
