My question is: How could I change the "isConnect" property to True? I've tried to change the isConnected directly, but it is not possible. I'm using the trial version of ThingWorx.

Hi all, Is there any suggested way to connect to BigQuery from Google Cloud without using ThingWorx Flow? Would you recommend to create an external service using one of the SDKs? I guess that will take some work. Or is there any other way that I might not be aware? Thanks! 

Support site lest me log a case but says my support is inactive. My license says its active. the Update killed my datalogger and I'm not sure of the case will even get reviewed. 

Seems I used to know how to do this, but...  Basically I have an assembly with subassembly that is used in two different locations.  Think of a quick release pin with a cable lanyard on it.  The pin and cable hook on in different configurations for the two different locations.  I have created a family table in the subassembly to create the two configurations.  Assembled those into my assembly and created a drawing of the assembly.  When I add my BOM Table to the drawing, it shows the two instances separately.  What I want is for it to show a single line, quantity two, of the pin and cable top generic assembly.  I have tried using the asm.mbr.top_generic bit, but that STILL shows the subassembly on two lines of the BOM.  What am I missing???     thanks in advance!

We are trying to connect to SAP DEMO system using our credentials, but we got an the following error:   Unable to execute service GetEndpointList on Controller_Thing : Your route exchange has failed. Resource Error [java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: Error constructing implementation (algorithm: Default, provider: SunJSSE, class: sun.security.ssl.SSLContextImpl$DefaultSSLContext)]   We are using ThingWorx 8.3.3-b937, and it is running on Cloud VM.   Thank you in advance.

Hi,   Is there a way to style the white space between the tab headers using any custom CSS or so? I tried using the below CSS:   .widget-ptcstabset::part(tabs-tab){      margin-left:0px !important;     margin-right:0px !important;}   But this completely removes the white space. I want that space between tab headers, but is there any way to style or colour it?    Thank you.

Hello everyone,   I have TAGs from a PLC and they are already in my foundation within a Thing.   I would like to associate a set of these variables to a time series graph.   I have four variables referring to the OEE of each production line in my factory.   So far I only know how to use the getproperties service but I know that to do this I need to use querypropertyhistory.   How do I bind these variables that I have inside a thing for an infotable to later link to the chart?   I already looked at the guide that talks about it, but I was not able to make it work.

Can we get an EMS server show up in the server list of Controls Advisor? I've already been successful in attaching assets to remote things but was wondering whether we can also show the EMS itself in the server list of Controls Advisor  

Hi,   I want to transfer the data of my things properties from the ThingWorx composer to ThingWorx Analytics. In tutorials about thingworx analytics they always use excel files but I could find very little information about the process of transforming the data into such a file.  I know that the data has to be in csv format and that I need metadata but how can I transform my data from the composer to this format?  Or can you recommend any tutorials?  

Hi  I have a requirement to perform the following operations on remote (child) TW servers from a (parent) TW server. Am planning to use ContentLoaderFunctions (PostJSON) from parent TW server to invoke a REST API call of remote TW server (Thingworx/Resources/EntityServices/ServiceDefinitions/CreateUser) with Appkey.  Create a user  Create a group Add user to a group Delete a user. Please suggest me if there is any other better approach.   if we are creating the user with the help snippet, then we can use Resources["EntityServices"].CreateUser(params);. we can execute the same in remote server?   Appreciate your early response  

The default Max Fields value is 25, which is not enough for time series model. How to set this parameter when creating time series model? Let's say, my dataset has 15 fields, including one entity_id filed and one temporal field. When I set lookback to 16, UseGoladHistory to false, then how to set the Max Fields?

Hello,    I would like to import the data and configuration from an old server to a new one. The old server is using the Thingworx / Manufacturing app 8.5.1. The new one is using Thingworx 8.5.3-b123 with the manufacturing apps 8.5.2.   The manufacturing apps has been customized, it has been successfully imported to Thingworx. But I'm not able to import the configuration in the Manufacturing apps, I'm getting the following error: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS309480   I do not understand the response, what is necessary to do?   Description Trying to import extension into ThingWorx the following error is occurring: message: com.thingworx.security.io.ValidationException: Invalid child path: Child path failed validation Resolution Error is due to customized extension, internal paths are not created and this should be corrected in the extension code  

Hi, I checked a lot in this forum and over the internet but I can't find any help regarding the fact that you may use any profile geometry in Creo and that it is really taked into account in the toolpath generation. In the first photo there is a common tool geometry I use. It is like a bull mill but after the flute length there is a sloped section. I defined the tool like attached (maybe I did something wrong...I hope it !). The fact is that Creo does not take into account the "sloped zone" and when I go down milling a pocket I get collision. I mean, the tool doesn't get far from the wall as the diameter increases due to sloping. How can I manage that ? Also the next step would be the possibility to create special shaped tools to mill special grooves along lines. At this stage I see this like impossible...

Hi,  How does thingworx manage the sequence of  executing the events ?  For example,  If  raise 100 events in a time , will the subscription be triggered with same sequence of raising event  or  the subscription will be triggered in parallel ?    Regards, Sean

Hi All   I have a use-case in which I want to implement the following :  I have a list of sites on clicking an item from list it should show the location on the map and on clicking the map pointer It should navigate to a mashup. I was able to achieve the first step wherein on click of the item from list it should show the location on the map. I am bit confused on the second part as to how to link the pointer with the mashup. How should I input the location in the the service to get the desired mahsup   Regards Ketan

Hi there,I'am a new user on Mathcad software and i'am getting stuck on a very simple problem, which i can solve manually, but i want to practise a bit with Mathcad.My problem is the following, i got two symbolic functions called C1 and C2 in my worksheet, which i want to be equal to zero (each of them). My two variables are Ti and Tn. When i tried to solved those equation i got an undefined solution.Thanks to tell me where i'am wrong.Sébastien

My program involves automated configuration of assemblies.  I am exporting the results as STEP files using ProIntf3DFileWrite.   The 5th argument is reference Csys,  a ProSlection, This argument takes NULL for default csys, but I need a specific csys in my case for future assembly of the step file.    My program runs non-interactively, so there is no one selecting the csys.   I know the name of the Csys and have code where I am successfully finding and obtaining  the handle.    What I cannot seem to figure out is how to convert this csys handle to a Pro Selection.  Any ideas?   Thanks!

Hi, I can implement customized device data transformation using Java SDK/Protocal Adapter Toolkits/EMS  on the Edge side before sending data to Thingworx Server.    However,  Kepware connects to Thingworx directly and it seems I can  only implement the data transformation in Thingworx server (except using the advanced tag of Kepware) .  Is it possbile to implementation the transformation of Kepware data tag in Edge as well ? (It is best to use JAVA) .     Regards, Sean
