Hi community,   So I have a main mashup in which i have some data visible in two label widgets.I also have a button below which is used to navigate to a popup.The purpose of this popup is to get new values for the labels in the mashup.So how do I get the values from the user and save it such a way that as soon as I close the popup the main mashup updates to the new values i.e the old values in both the label widgets are replaced by the new values the user has given now.Also I want to validate that the user has entered both the values in both the labels,and even if one label is empty i need to display a msg.How do I do that?

Can we move any widget such as 3D image in 3D space by holding it in Hololens 2? 

I have a problem. I was installing Thingworx and it was near the end when my machine crashed. I am now in a position where I get this error when I try to install Thingworx   "You already have Thingworx Foundation for Postgres installed. Uninstall it, and then you can use this installation tool to reinstall"   Problem is, when I go to Windows "Uninstall or change a program" app, there is nothing there with a name like PTC or Thingworx. So, nothing to uninstall.What do I do now?    

Hi all In WC, importable has a special meaning when you export an importable spreadsheet. But when you search the community, importable gets stemmed so you get lots of results for import and imported. Maybe importable is somewhere in the posts, but I cannot see it. I think your Solr admins would be able to protect the word, maybe using synonyms. Maybe I should go back and read the manual instead of depending on searches. thanks Rick

 Hello, I have implemented pagination on a collection and services are written as per https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS311123   Here If the user changes the number of Items in a Page using a drop down menu , it will also work , but the number of pages on the widget doesn't change . That is if the widget have 1 to 5 pages at first , then if we increase the  page size using dropdown, the pagination widget still have  1 to 5 pages , the total number of pages  will not decrease  ,even though  the page will shows the selected number of items.This leads to blank pages.    Is there any ways to which  number of Items in per Page can be changed from the mashup.

Hello all, I did a search on this forum for an answer but have had no luck yet. I have an assembly open right now and in the bottom right of the screen (beside the filter) there is a blue "D" with a red "X" through it. Placing the mouse over this tell me that "The model is disconnected." What exactly does this mean? I have noticed this before, but i do not know if it pertains only to assemblies or not. Any help out there? Thanks in advance.

Hello Everybody    I'm trying to get weight data from a scale that I connected to a network few weeks ago and I want to know if it is possible to communicate with the scale using a TCP-IP socket connection by using only thingworx. I recently knew recently that kepware could help for this operation and it could be more efficient but unfortunately we have a licence probleme so I need to use only thingworx.   More details about the scale :  The scale is a Mettler Toledo Viper, IP adress : 10.18.200.51    and     Port: 9761 to get the weight from the scale we should send a request called "SI" and then we get an answer like ***SS**258**g The communication should enable me to extract the weight and display it on a mashup by clicking a button "Peser"   Thank you in advance for you Help

Greetings   I'm an undergraduate mechanical engineering student working on graduation project (Exechon robot ), that robot has complex kinematics ,so I have chosen to do it in a simulation software but faced many obstacles and during searching I found a simulation video of my project  made by Creo .   I don't know any thing about Creo software but I'm amazed by it and want to know if I can reach my target by it . what I want to do : import my design and Creation of kinematics like joints between bodies and constraints ...etc . create path , use inverse kinematics solver to move the robot joints thus the robot tool follow the path . export motion profile of joints . Hello,   I found a wired behaviour using units in calculations. The result is slightly different if units are used in formula or not. See attached file. Both results must be identical, but they are not. I can even do the calculation in my head and the one with unit is false.   Cheers DPJB

Hello everyone!   I am working with macros using OTK Java.I need to run one macro twice.Once I do this and everything works, and on the second start, an XToolkitNotValid exception is thrown.I tried to activate the window before running the macro, display the model, etc.But nothing helped.Does anyone know what the problem is?Thanks in advance.   Regards!

Community,   Consider the below image.  There are two curves created with the Sketch Tool (datum curve sketching).  Is there a way to merge these two curves to make them act as one curve?  Thank in advance.  

I'm working on an experience that uses multiple popups that require inputs. Once I enter the input (and the keyboard closes) and close the popup, my 2d display is shifted up, almost like it is shifting everything above where the keyboard was. This causes some widgets on top to shift off the display. Additionally, I can't click on anything, like my buttons are frozen. I can still move my model around though.    This issue seems to happen when I run the experience on an iPhone 8, but did not have an issue when running on an iPad.   Flipping the orientation of the phone resolves the issue, but is not an acceptable solution.

I am using Time Series Chart, InfluxDB, and Value Stream. What I am doing is to use QueryPropertyHistory to have 1 hour data from InfluxDB to fill the Time Series Chart. The QueryProperyHistory is commanded periodically. The speed is really slow for the Chart to update. Does anyone know if there are any solutions on this? Maybe a cart with cache can help? 

Creo 4, M100   I was playing around with trace curves in a toy mechanism model I created to understand how they behave and I noticed a few things I didn't expect.   The mechanism I created is a rotating double pendulum - a double pendulum attached to a pivoting center component. The analysis type is dynamic and the only load I have is gravity. There's no friction or damping so no energy loss.  Because the trace curve tool requires a .pbk file and because I understood .pbk files to only be a record of each frame, I wondered how frame rates would affect the trace curve accuracy. So I ran several analyses with different frame rates (1, 10, 100, & 1000, all starting from the same arbitrary snapshot), created trace curves for them, and compared the differences. After 1 second, the difference between 1 FPS & 1000 FPS was less than 1 millimeter. After 2 seconds, the difference was so great that the curves ended on different sides of the assembly.   At first, I was

Then I would like to plot the velocity, so x' and z' but get the error: "replace with complex values and NaNs by real numbers". It shouldn't have complex values and NaNs, I have checked the odesolve syntax, the time step and the units, but still can't find the mistake. Would appreciate help! The file is attached. Hello,   I've try to export ententies (without Data) from an Thingworx Instance (8.4.5-b102) with MSSQL as Maindataprovider to an Thingworx Instance (8.4.5-b102) with Postgre.   I reseive [message: [1,018] Data store unknown error: [Error occurred while accessing the property provider.]] as Error Message.   Do you have any idea how to do this entety migration?

  I have bound my data filter widget to a grid and it seems to be working correctly,but i wanted to know if i gave 2 inputs for the same filter,example :all data with the Current location : India and Current location : America.Is this possible in the inbuilt widget or do we have to write a service ?If so can you please send the code for this service.   Also any idea how to style the widgets drop down feature.
