Does Creo have a way to use two perpendicular sketches to create a part? The attached image shows the two sketches, and the final image shows what I'm looking for. I created the final part by making an extrusion, then by making an extruded cut.   I have some complex geometry on a part where it would be easier to have creo simply use the two sketches to find the intersecting geometry and create a part in one step. I swear I've done this before, but can't seem to figure out how to do it now.   Thanks in advance.

Hi,   i am using Static Mashup with Threshold Indicator widget but when i run this mashup separately i can see the widget at runtime, but when i call this mashup in other Mashup Container the widget is not visible. could you help me please.   thanks

Hi,  I am planning to implement mail notification from office365 srever. I have given below configurations SMTP server and port : smtp.office365.com, Port:587 Pop3 server and port: outlook.office365.com, 995. Please find the attached screenshot for configuration. I am getting below error if try to send message using "sendmessage" service.   "Error retrying to send an email to valid recipients after invalid ones caused a failure, or failure to send an error email about this event: 530 5.7.57 SMTP; Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM [BYAPR07CA0078.namprd07.prod.outlook.com]_"   I have used Main extension 3.6.0 version   Anyone knows what is this error?. Hi All I have made a drawing of an assembly and added table and BOM balloons but I want to change the order of the index numbers. To do this I use "Repeat Regions > Sort Reion > Edit" and this is where my problems occurs: As soon as I click on "Edit" a DOS promt open and my notepad opens an empty sheet and promts a warning saying "The file temp_fmt.txt was not found. Would you like to create a new?" What is this temp_fmt.txt, where should it be located, what should be in it and can it be recreated? I have made a search for the file on my HDD with no results 😞

Hello guys.   I'm learning creo by following model tree of completed prt file example.   I have some questions about sweep cut function,     <ㅡㅡ Top view of a button (Example file)     <ㅡㅡ Bottom(inner) view of a button above.(sweep cut)     ㅡㅡ> Upper blue colored chain is a trajectory curve which is chosen in Example file.    ㅡㅡ> Orange colored line is a cross-section profile which is selected in Example file.   Descriptions below are what I've done.   # I made datum plane above top plane and projected trajectory(blue colored chain in above picture) too. # After that, I activated sweep, and selected a trajectory above. # I sketched cross-section view same with above picture. # Finally, I completed sweep cut, and error message occurred saying that 'One side edge detected.'   In this situation, What should I do?   What is the cause of this failure?   Plz help me...

I have a system of 4 first-order differential equations which can be solved with odesolve.   I want to use the statespace function, but it fails with a cryptic message. My system matrix is not in canonical form, but the documentation for statespace does not seem to require it. I am probably making some stupid mistake, but I don't see it.     Attached are Prime 6 worksheet and pdf.

Hello,   I know that my following query may not have a solution and I may be stuck doing everything over again. However, I am hoping some of you might have some insight on any tricks I can use to make my life easier.   What I am Trying to do: I have .mi files that are finished and ready to be sent to a manufacturer. However, I want to attach the corresponding 3D part to the .mi file so that an external person can reference the 3D geometry of the part without opening another file.   This essentially makes it function like a .BDL file where in one file I can access the part and the annotated drawing.   (Originally was only going to send .mi files...looking back I should have just saved everything as a .bdl file, but I no longer can)   Questions: 1) Is this possible? Can I import the corresponding part to the opened .mi file, have it sync up so that the 2D views correspond with a 3D view and save it as a BDL file? 2) If so, how do I sync up the 2D views with the 3

Hi all,   We have a group of people that have recently left the company. Therefore, I ran the Search for Disconnected Participant and Delete from Windchill.   The issue I have is that, some of these users started workflows. When you reassign a workflow to another user, it always comes back to the process initiator. However, the initiator does not exist. Is there a way to change the Process Initiator or reassign the task permanently?   Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks.

Dear all, As briefly described in the object, I’m looking for a solution that allows to convert a “string name” already defined in an Excel sheet to a variable name into the Mathcad Prime 6.0 doc.   Actually, I’m using the READEXCEL function to import string and values that will be used as the inputs for the rest of the Mathcad computation work. With reference to the figure attached, I’m trying to simply associate one-to-one the “meters_var” to the “meters_val”.   I think that working with an external input sheet is more robust to the variation of variable names and quantity and relative values, making the approach more automatic since the Excel formats are interfaceable with most of computation programs.Thanks in advance for your help
