We have just upgraded from Creo 4.0 build M030 to Creo 5.0.  Recently, I noticed a change to the cosmetic thread functionality.  Our company's standard notes for metric internal threads include "6" for the class and "H" for the placement.  Normally, we would go to the Properties tab in the cosmetic thread wizard and open the appropriate standard note from a network location.  Then, when showing the note on a drawing, it would look like, for the example of an M5 thread, "M5 x 0.8-6 H"   Now, the class appears to default to "H".  Even if I open a standard note, if I change to one of the other tabs in the cosmetic thread wizard and then change back to the Properties tab, I see the class change from whatever value was entered to "H".  Now the note on our drawing looks like, for example, "M5 x 0.8 -H H".   Has anyone seen this behavior or have any thoughts regarding how to work around this?  Thank you.

I have a bitmap that I inserted into a drawing.  Is there a way to relate it to a view so the image object moves along with the view?   Using Creo 2.0 M190

Wondering how I prevent components inside suppressed sub-assemblies from appearing on the CAD structure, single level report.  The multilevel report is correctly filtering out the suppressed components but the single level report is not.   I've messed around with the 'manage structure views', and I do have a condition for 'suppressed not equal to true', but that seems to apply to each component directly.  It does not filter out components used by suppressed sub-assemblies.  Any idea how I get a flat, single level report that does not include items used by suppressed sub-assemblies?  Thanks.

Hi   I do want analyze interference in an assembly excluding two parts out of total available 1000+ parts..   Can this be done in Creo 4.0? I need to select all parts excluding two to three before going for interference check. How to achieve the same? I could not find any option to select required parts for global interference check except an option to go with only sub assembly or all parts.   Thanks and Regards Ketan

Hi, I am unable to connect thingworx and kepware. I completed the configuration properly but it is showing following error: Connection to ThingWorx failed. | Platform = localhost:8088/Thingworx/WS, error = could not initialize a secure socket connection.   When i enabled the logging, i found below error: unable to add binding for pre-existing Gateway Thing because existing Thing Template does not derive or match [existing: PTC.Factory.KepServerThingTemplate, provided: IndustrialGateway].   Kindly resolve.

I just started learning creo/elements and I'm sorry if this is a basic question. How do I add a fastener to an assembly? The help pages says insert>connection>fastener. But I don't have a connection choice under the insert menu. Thanks.

Hello,I'm trying to create a dynamic list. So that when an item in the list is clicked on, it sends me to another experience (i.e. activate a hyperlink)  I'm currently populating the list with a JSON list and utilizing the "return JSON.parse(value)" function, and the list displays the Name column.[{"Experience":"URL1","Name":"Name1"},{"Experience":"URL2","Name":"Name2"},{"Experience":"URL3","Name":"Name3"},{"Experience":"URL4","Name":"Name4"}]   So the question is, how do you go about utilizing the "Item click" event within the list widget to activate a hyperlink based on which item was clicked?

Hi All,   I have a query regarding how to add values to a scrollable panel so that every 10 seconds it should display the updated values corresponding to a label.   I will attach the screenshot for a better understanding of the query.   I want a use case where, Temp1(label) corresponds to 26 (value) After 10s, Temp2 (label) corresponds to 18 (value)  After 10s, Temp 3 (label) corresponds to 5 (value) and so on.   The panel has to be updated automatically after the specified time interval. Hi Guys, I'm new to Vuforia Studio so i try to figure out, how some mechanics work. I'm trying to replace a numeric dimension with a letter to produce an assembly drawing with a variable dimension. I haven't been able to find a method to remove/hide the numeric value of the dimension, can anyone help?

Hi,   I recently received a .pkg file with a full model and I found that it also had drawings in the structure tree. My question is how do I see these drawings so that I can export to PDF?   I have tried to open them from Annotation tab but it won't let me select from the structure tree or save from there to PDF. Is there a way to view these? I don't want to redo work that someone has already done.   Thanks

Inspired from an example viewed on a site, I've decided to try a TIME Analysis of a fishing rod during the launch.The rod shall rotate 90deg by starting from 0 velocity and must stop at 0 velocity in 0.5sec. So I modeled simply the fishing rod and I done a mechanism to obtaion the curves of acceleration and torque. Unable to play video. Please try again later.(view in My Videos)                           The rod's material is nylon, but it could be any other one that I don't care.Now I'm trying to do the TIME analysis in two different manners: with the base excitation (with the acceleration results) and with the load (with the torque net load results).Apart some inaccuracies in the analysis with the load that I think they are due to the load concentration, what I've firstly seen is that the fishing rod rotation is not 90 degrees...Could you help me?
