I have had this issue off and on at work to the point where it's driving me insane. Sometimes the function works just fine, other times it acts like it's not possible. There are also times where I'll be having a problem copying and pasting, ask a co-worker about it, and then it instantly starts working and I'm pretty darn sure I took the same steps I had before asking for help, and it's really irritating. I've gone about this several ways:   1). Clicking on the note that I want to copy, doing a slow right-click, selecting "Copy", making the other window with the desired drawing I want to copy the note to active (I use dual monitors), then slow right-clicking again, but no "Paste" option shows up. I do this all without clicking off of the original note after copying it.   2). Everything is done the same as in the first method, only this way I deselect the note I'm copying and still I can't paste on the other drawing.   3). Hi,   I imported manufacturing apps extensions into the thingworx composer and established a connection with Kepserver . I tried to follow advice given in another thread to do this (See file): Mathcad complains about the units of 's', but that's not the problem. I want to substitute i*omega for s.  Under Symbolics, Variable > substitute is greyed out. Pressing CTRL-SHFT-. gives a place holder, which disappears, followed by the arrow shown. I tried re-starting Mathcad, but I still get the same problem. Of course, Mathcad says s is undefined, but I suppose it wouldn't need to be defined for the substitution operation.

How to add a digital BPF (FIR/IIR) to the sampled data?

See the attached file. When I try invlaplace in Mathcad 15 with a simple s-function, it works, but with a slightly more complex function, it doesn't give a useful result: I am a very infrequent user of Mathcad, so please bear with me if I ask stupid questions. I do not understand the repeated 'invlaplace' and the 's,t' part of the result. I expected a function of t that I could plot after including the numerical value of omega. Setting t=35 and [omega] = 2*pi*t doesn't help. I tried putting ', omega' after the first 'invlaplace',  but it produces no more useful result.  

Hi,  I need to export the data from excel component & to print in single matrix (3X3), can i please know the format to do that.  

Does anyone have a SQL query to list of all documents, with their context & location.I did setup a query in report builder, however I run into a record count limitation (65k) when exporting.  When using the SQL query from this report in SQL itself, it only brings over the IDs for context and folder path (I need the names).  I must need to link to another table, even though the report builder SQL is not showing such?

Scenario: I am ordering material to specific requirements and do not want to have a CAD Doc for the shape of this material, but I do have a WTpart   Desire: I need to link two WTparts so that when the part made from this material is requested, the custom material defined by a WTpart is requested as well.    Is there anyway to link these two wtparts and create this behavior?

I got a problem with using the positioning function in creo elements direct.    When I use the positioning function, in the dynamic method, I am able to click on a face when the 3D co-pilot appears. In the past I was able to also do this with edges. Click the edge and a co-pilot would appeard so I was able to rotate a part around the edge, or move it along the edge.    Selecting the edge is now not possible anymore. I added my 'catch' settings screenshot, maybe there is a problem with that.    Someone knows what the problem can be or where I can find some 'snap' settings

This is my first time dabbling with hyperelastic materials on Creo Simulate. Elastoplastic materials are quite fun and are fairly easy to run. But, I have found that when using large deformation, the simulation takes over a day or fails. As such, I typically run without large deformation selected.   However, I noticed that within the Hyper-elastic material options, I am unable to deselect "calculate large deformation. Is there a way to run a hyper-elastic material without large deformation?

I came across and issue that I think should be shared.  I will confirm this and have opened a ticket on this.  I am loading Parts, Docs, Links and content. The order I had was load Parts, Load doc objects (empty), load links (part to doc and doc to doc) then load content.  Some loaders create iterations, others do not.  When the content loader ran (just another BeginWTDocument but now with content), iterates document to add content but does not carry forward the links to that document.   Here is an example: Let's say Part A is described by doc B and Doc C references doc B.  On the related objects page would see links to those other objects.  When the loader for the content runs, the document is iterate and those links are gone. If you go to previous iteration, they are there.  If you go to Part A or Doc C, the links are gone (since no longer latest).  However, if instead of loading content via XML I checked the document out and uploaded cont

I'm having trouble getting Data Filter Widget to work with Advanced grid when Column Sorting is enabled. I tried passing the query from the Data Filter Widget to the Advanced Grid and then from there to the QueryDataTableEntries Service. The Data Filter works but when I uncheck filters the displayed data does not change. Included video for clarity.

Does still exist the "undo" command in Windchill like in the old Pro/Intralink?Because when I go in the "Events manager", in the slide menu on the top of workspace, only few events have the button "apply events" (in my case only the events "add") and anyway if I push one of those nothing happens in the WS.Perhaps that command works only in a given situation?At work I have version 10.1.Regards

I am needing to build a sketch that the curve needs to follow an exact pattern.  I have attached a sketch that shows the basic curvature. (As it is freehand the shape is not exact however) The pattern of curvature needs to follow a point placement like this.  The initial point is at X=0 and Y=+.06.  The second point on the curve would be X=+.5 and Y=-.06.  The 3rd point on the curve would be X=1 and Y=.06.  Etc...   I want to build a curve where I don't have to manually enter the dimensions as the size will extend for close to 50 inches.   My initial thought would be that Relations might be the way to go, but I have no experience with this and don't know if it would be capable of what I am looking to do.

Very new to Creo, can anyone tell me how to insert text into detail drawing? For example I would like to add quantities next to balloons, not split the balloons with quantities. How do I add a general note as well, I just dont see an interface to add text to a drawing? Thank you

I have a stream that I would like to purge of any data which is older than 7 days old. My thought is to attempt something like this (below), where my startDate is undefined and my endDate equals seven days ago (DateTime format).    Things["MY_STREAM"].PurgeStreamEntries({endDate: sevenDaysAgo,immediate: true,startDate: undefined});   Will this work? I'm worried that if the startDate is undefined, it'll start from the newest entry of the stream, rather than the oldest entry.   TWX v. 8.4.1
