Hi, I know that that the circular reference files (.crc) file will be automatically saved in current working directory. But if i'm online, connected to windchill, where these files will get saved?? Is there any configuration parameter that controls this path location?   Thanks!!  

I tried to look up soil layer properties based on layer depth shown in the table using function Shaft_Matrix. Don't know why the Shaft_Matrix function returns layer 2 properties at depth 5'. I have been stuck with this for a while, still cannot figure it out. I would really appreciate if anybody can help. Thanks 

Hello guys, i'm wondering if it's possible to access a directory onto a remote Volume ( e.g. Z: )I saw examples of define a custom repository, but is not exactly what i need.I need to list files from a specific directory, not create a brand new "repository", the access must be both in RW, i can also write my own service in JavaSDK if it's needed.Thanks! 😄

I have a list which selection I want to specify on load using the "isSelected" property, as well as a validator and an expression. However, this only works for the first row of data returned by my service, is there a way to iterate over the returned data in the mashup so that my validator checks all rows of returned data?   returned infotable   validator checks it isSelected is true   if isSelected is true, expression takes selected property   selected property is set as selectedText in list   list with specific selection on load  

How to accomplish real-time Sectioning function like this? Hi   We have a 2-node clustered Windchill as well as a 2-node replicated LDAP service in a lab environment. Below is a brief on services configured. Site01 Srv01 - Windchill, LDAP, HTTP Srv02 - Windchill, LDAP, HTTP Srv03 - Oracle Db Srv04 - CAD Worker + Main Vault Site02 Srv05 - Remote File Server with Vault, HTTP and probably local Worker for Site02 Windchill service in Srv01 and Srv02 are clustered and sitting behind a F5 load balancer, working fine. LDAP service in Srv01 and Srv02 are replicated and replication works fine.   We see there are 2 ways to configure LDAP in this environment as following; Let LDAP services sit behind a Load Balancer like F5 BIG-IP and configure LDAP in Windchill using virtual IP given by Load Balancer. This way we can take advantage of load balancing as well as failover on LDAP services. Also, every time a new node is added, changes only need to be made on LB instead of all application nodes as well as Remote File Servers. Configure

Hi ,  I would allow the end user to set a maximum time for the data you would stored , for example, for the data retrieved from devices , the use only need to keep them for  6 months.      the questions are:  1. How to develop a daemon job which scan the data older than 6 months and then delete them ? 2. How and When to trigger the job ?    Regards, Sean

i am trying to program ;this routine (that i picked up from another topic here, originally written in mathcad 15) to calculate the depth to the midpoint of each layer.  the results for z should be 4.5, 13.5, 22.5, 31.5, 40.5.   any assistance would be appreciated.  the file is in mathcad 4.0

Can anyone help me with my SQL query?   I have a query built that integrates several tables in order to report on workflow items and document lifecycle: WTUser, WorkItem, PDMLinkProduct,EPMDocument, etc I have a bunch of reportable information gathered, but I am missing one key piece - the date a workflow task was accepted. I have workflow created date, I have task completion date, I have the who and the what and the where, but I do not have workflow task accepted date.   We discovered that this information is stored in WfAssignmentEventAudit under .timestamp when .actionPerformed=Accepted, but I am unable to get this data table into my query successfully with a JOIN to WfAssignedActivity or or creating a subset, etc.   Any SQL experts out there willing to take a look at how to join up these related tables?

This is a warning for everyone.  If you use any of the extensions from the TWX marketplace, test extensively before doing a full migration to 8.4.1.  Because of the way widgets are now implemented in 8.4.1 there may be numerous visualization extensions from the marketplace that are impacted and broken in some way.  I can confirm 8.4.1 breaks the Drag and Drop file upload extension and the FileRepository Home Mashup extension.  Being that these extensions are issued by "Thingworx Labs" PTC has no obligation to fix or provide support. 

We just upgraded to Windows 10. We are currently running AE 7_M080. Open Resource Manager, go into AE dita doc and place cursor where reference to be inserted. If user grabs the reference in Resource Manager and drags it into dita doc AE crashes. If user clicks on the reference and then clicks on 'insert' button, the reference is inserted into the dita doc (no issues).   Note: users were able to drag references into dita doc before upgrade to Windows 10.   This looks like a bug to me. Anyone else experience this?

Hi,   We got a 2-node Windchill cluster environment and I need to give few developers access to logs. Windchill Logs Viewer only shows logs of currently connected application server. So, the questions are; Is there any way to move the location of logs from <wt_folder>\Logs to a shared network path so both application servers will write logs to this location instead of default location? If answer is yes, is it a good practice to do this?   Thank you,
