Hi, everytime I try to fix parts together in the assembly mode the programm shuts down and i have to start the whole Programm once more. But that does not solve the problem. It's not possible for me to make assemblies, only single parts. My computer is a new one from 2019 with the recommended properties.   Please can you help me!   Thanks!

Hello, So what I wanted to ask is how can I simulate the process of aluminum can manufacturing in Creo's Sheetmetal. What I'm trying to do in the first step is create a disk that step by step will formulate the can.   So what I first do is planar a disk like so https://imgur.com/a/cIZc6d7   But the when I try bending it inwards so that it takes the form of the cup creo doesn't let me have a circle as a bending line. I tried the punching option but I can't get the result I want. Is there a different approach to this? I want to model the can like this so I can have the unbended disk as the first step. Hi to all.When I connect to TWX by typing "localhost" in the web address field - everything works fine. But if typed "<local hostname>" I see a blank page. Dear friends, I need a bit of help. I have a set of values "PFscan.csv". It contains 70 columns x 1800 rows. This values represent z, and should be connected with r and t data, acting as a x and y. To create a x,y,z set with same dimensions I've made a matrices M1 and M2 from r and t, both containing 70 columns x 1800 rows. The goal is to combine this three sets into one matrix, which will consecutively contain (x,y,z)i. Hence matrix M3. So the questions are: How can I export this as .csv or .txt while being able to maintain order; x1,y1,z1, x2,y2,z2, etc.? How can I plot multiple datasets into one 3D graph by using for loop? And to convert this large x,y,z set to polar plot? Thanks!

I am able to define a specification of the product.   then, I have an issue when I try to create a variant part. (Action / Request Deliverables). Hi everyone,   When I use the realtime service under the Analytics_PredictionThing, I see result but when I try to use service on a custom thing,I don't see  result because it fails with this error : Type Check Exception. I installed CPS06 on Windchill PDMLink 11.0 m030 the other night and now Creo View will not launch on either my workstation or when remoted into the Windchill server. I get a new IE window with a 'Starting Creo View Client' across the top of the window, but that is all. I have verified that Creo View will start manually from its installation on both computers. It all worked fine before the CPS06 patch install.

I'm essentially trying to make an array of pins whose tips are in a sinusoidal shape.   I started with a curve set by an equation, and made a sketch of it using projection. I made a conical shape at one end, with the point on the curve. I then tried to do pattern by curve, which sort of worked, except pattern by curve adjusts the axes so they're also normal/tangent to the curve (bad), and I get cones that aren't vertical.   I then found this example on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0JaVIoEgV4 And managed to tweak it to my case. However, I now run into different situations, depending on how I proceed.If I follow his example pretty closely (minor tweak on one of the axis references), the axes flip with the sign change and I get the following:   If instead of patterning the points in a direction (as he does) but instead pattern the points along the curve, nad pattern each piece individually, none of my axes flip, BUT my sketch no longer patterns along the curve

Hi,  I got the requirement from a customer:    "The data stored for query remain 3 months,  then the data is regarded as "cold data" , user can still query it , but the data should be moved(not removed) to somewhere, like archive database or data warehouse. So that the "cold data" doesn't affect the query performance. "   This is something like life circle management of data and it's necessary for the time-series data I think , like value stream or stream.    Does thingworx supports it natively ?  I mean the the archive database and archive strategy can be specified during deployment and developers don't need to care about querying data query from archive database or live database.    Regards, Sean

Hi, I'm pretty new to Creo, usually used to Solidworks. My problem is the following: I found out how to reverse the mouse wheel direction when zooming in and out in a part, but the settings I've chosen in the editor (SEE SCREENSHOT) apply only for the current project.. so when I close Creo and start a new project the direction of mouse wheel become again the default one... so how can i reverse the mouse wheel direction forever?    I tried also to modify the config.pro file in the installation folder but it is "write protected" ...can someone help me?

Hi, Is it possible to implement virtual keyboard of German language in ThingWorx. While clicking on a button a virtual keyboard of German should appear and the user should be able to type the input in that virtual keyboard and save it in DB. I am running my EMS & LSR on an Ubuntu 14.04 based system as services (using the included service scripts installed in /etc/init.d/ by the install_services script).   When the EMS & LSR run as services, all of their logs go to the syslog, which I expected.   However, I expected them to also get logged in the specified publish_directory in the config.lua and config.json.  When the services run, the path to the specified log location is created, but no files are actually written there.   That said, if I run both the applications directly from the command line then the log files are written just fine.   I tried changing the log path several times thinking it might be related to permissions on a parent directory, but no matter where I specify the service does not write the logs to that location.   Is this expected behavior or a problem with my setup?  I'd still prefer to have the logs in their own location so they're easier to view on th

Hello everyone,   so I have multiple Things of the same Thing Template. Now I would like to assign a Home Mashup to each of these Things. The Mashup should be the same, but the values inside should correspondent to the thing.   Now I hoped there would be a simple way to simply create the Mashup once and assign it as a Home Mashup and somehow assign the Thing Name as a Parameter to the Mashup. Any Ideas how to achieve that?   I want this because I have a main mashup where a list of all my things is contained. I want to display the Home mashup of every Thing when I click on it in a contained Mashup. For that I use the Thing.getHomeMashup() service.   Any help is appreciated very much.   Best Regards, Dominik

Hi everyone, does it happens to anyone that a note you rotated by, for exemple, 90 degree eventually rotates back to it's default horizontal orientation? (see screenshot below). The note will stay at the specified angle for some times but eventually, we don't know why or when, they will all go back to the original orientation. Is there a way to solve this issue? Thank you.

HiI have a drawing file which has about 15 sheets in it.Each sheet has been named according to the company standards.I need to convert each of these sheets into a separate dwg/pdf format with the name already given to sheets.But when i convert the drawing file, all the sheets get converted into a single pdf file consisting of pages equal to the number of sheets in the drawing.I need a separate pdf file for each sheet along with the name which has been already provided to that particular sheet in the drawing file.Manually doing this is very very yime consuming. Im looking for an easier way to get it doneIs it possible??
