Hi All,   I am trying to explore the new release of ThingWorx version 8.4. I have a Mashup (with list widgets) with selected row property of list binded to the session variables and it is working fine in ThingWorx 8.3. I could see the data when I execute GetGlobalSessionValues service available under CurrentSessionInfo. When I try importing the same entity to 8.4 version, I could see no data is getting generated from the selected row property of list widget and thus not going to the session variables.  GetGlobalSessionValues service available under CurrentSessionInfo appears empty. Note : When I try binding the text property of text box with the session variables in TWX 8.4, it is working fine.   I am confused if the issue is with the list widget or selected row property of list widget or with session variables in TWX 8.4 version. Kindly advise.

I need to call a SQL Query service. Which Look-Likes : select * from public.styleassociation where id in (?);  As input I am passing Json Object (Ex:  {  "values" :  [1,2,3]} )  Can anyone help me, how to extract the values in "?" place.

 We have created a user Group let's say 'Comau' under this user group we have various types roles like Admin, Supervisor etc.We noticed that if we login through Admin type of user under 'Comau' group and try to execute our services of updating property value via service on Mashup using Things[thingName][propertyName] = value; then it gives error as[context: com.thingworx.webservices.context.HttpExecutionContext@555ebcca][message: Execution error in service script [updatePartLifeTimeProperties] :: Wrapped java.lang.NullPointerException (updatePartLifeTimeProperties#12)]The Line #12 on this service has snippet like Things[thingName][propertyName] = value;

I've use Rest API calls on the same thingworxserver in order to "impersonate" de current user to a user which has Application Keys creation permissions (current users shoudn't have this kind of permissions).   Could you please explain what exactly is the purpose of doing this. Also, isn't it insecure to pass around appKeys between the client and the Twx application?   Related to previous post

Hi,    I'm having the same issue, but on IPhone using chrome.  I'm having this issue not on the button widget but on the navigation widget. I don't know a quick workaround for this problem. Is there a solution?    Jasper

Hi,   I need to know how to use Infotable Selector widget on grid. In the mashup below the selected rows should be reset once Add button is clicked. The reset button in advanced grid is not deselecting selected row when clicked. Is it possible to bind the infotable selector widget with the grid, because there is an event in "infotable selector widget" to clearAllSelected. I am not getting how to use that in mashup with grid.   Thanks in advance

Small chronology: - After setting up installation, I have an admin user. - For this, I created a appkey. - Using the appkey I was able to tell my sensor where to send the data to. - Data is sent to a "InstallerThing" i created, that has a service to either create a new thing or update the values.- Everything is working fine so far. Hello, There is a way to Add/Modify the data table entry, by using a service "AddDataTableEntry" or "AddOrUpdateDataTableEntry", but I can also see that these services also have a return value (string) which is id. I would like to know what is this return 'id'? Thanks Aditya Mittal

Hi Experts,   I have 997 in-process jobs in the "Analysis jobs",which cause machine very slow.  I thing the processor may overload for so many jobs , so I stopped the Analysis event and expect these jobs can be processed without generating new jobs .     I kept my machine running over night but found the number of executing jobs are NOT changed .    Meanwhile I have something observed:  the number of csv files in C:\Program Files (x86)\ThingWorxAnalytics\Thingworx_Analytics_Server\data\data\results\data keep increasing. the number of job folders in C:\Program Files (x86)\ThingWorxAnalytics\Thingworx_Analytics_Server\data\transfers\twxml\twxml_job_queue keep increasing.  Open the file "DempsyClusterJobExecutor.Complete" for one of the job in the folder "twxml_job_queue", the content is  "["java.util.ArrayList",[["com.thingworx.analytics.ccc.job.Status",{"state":"COMPLETED","startDateTime":"2019-02-09T15:06:43.4Z","endDateTime":"201

Hi Team,   ThingWorx Manufacturing and Service Apps 8.3.0 & Operator Advisor Beta are Available for Download!   In the above article you had mentioned under Asset Advisor category there is "Equipment Export/Import via Excel" feature available.Currently i'm working on a functionality where the user will upload an excel file (not csv) which i have to then parse and show it in an infotable.   I have checked through the community and i came to know about the "Data Export Extension" which can export the infotable as excel file but this is opposite to my use case. Since import via Excel feature is available in Asset Advisor can you explain how i can leverage this feature i.e. Thing name and service description, etc.   Thanks and Regards, Saran   

How To assign the max,min value and the unit in the thing properties Through Script..?

 I have already gone through that documentation provided in the market place but that information is being insufficient.  Because the issue is with making one of the frames still, and another one responsive.  It would be helpful if you could give any input on this like more detailed documentation.

I am trying to read some values from an OPC server into Thingworx. Until now I have made the connection between OPC Aggregator and Thingworx Composer following the steps of the industrial connections: http://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_8_hc/en/#page/ThingWorx%2FHelp%2FComposer%2FIndustrialConnections%2FIndustrialConnectionsExample.html . So the connection status is ok and I can reach the tags inside ThingWorx, although I am not aware of the next steps to read the values in Thingworx when they change in the server. Do I have to create a java scrip or do something else?

One contains all data(One of the columns is a number which is got from SQL query) and another service which is used to convert the number to DateTime(Javascript).  Now i would like to modify all numbers to DateTime using another service. Hi Folks,   Is there any way to clear/close the session once the user logs out of the Application?   Issue: After hitting logout,it gets directed to Form Login but if the User hits BACK button of browser (chrome), it will take the user to last visited Mashup screen without login credentials.   Kindly drop your comments if came across similar issue and resolution without using custom extension.   Thanks!
