Hi everybody Im trying to determinate the maximun of  two values with different units, but Mathcad does not allow it.   t:=2m h:=5kg Max(t,h)= ?    Help me pls 🙂

I'm trying to change the status field in one row or multiple rows by clicking the button above. For example, if I selected row 3, then I click the "Approve" button, the status field should become "Approve". The field Status in my data shape is  string type, and I plan to write a service to overwrite the status of a row every time I click the button.  I'm trying to do so, but I'm confused about what should I pass in as a parameter for my service, what should I return. Is there any built-in services that can overwrite a field of a data shape inside a data table. Thanks!

Using Creo 2.   When changing a part, the volume seems to be stuck. When I calculate mass properties, the volume stays the same despite any physical changes to the model. I've tried adding features, redoing features, suppressing features etc. Nothing affects the volume.   I started a new part and everything works fine. The volume calculates correctly and updates when the part is changed. So the problem seems to be related to a particular part file. Is this just a glitch? Corrupted file or something? Or did a setting get mixed up somewhere? I can of course start from scratch, but if this problem is solvable, I would like to know how.   Thanks!

Hello   Getting confused with Simp Rep in drawing sheet. Below is the situation:   A.prt has representation as Test. Drawing is created for part A.prt. In first sheet, General view is created for master rep.   Now adding Test Rep for drawing sheet 1. Adding General view. Adding new sheet. Adding another general view. Now setting rep as Master into sheet 2. Going back to sheet 1 and coming back to sheet 2 again. Everywhere sheet 1 and 2 is showing Test as representation. I am trying to use the Advanced grid to display data, and one of the grid columns i have applied a state definition to. This works fine with the regular grid, but it is giving me issues with the advanced grid. The Default state definition does not seem to be taking.Advanced GridRegular GridHere is the Grid Column where the State definition is set.Could anyone please help me out? Thank you!

I recently followed a youtube tutorial for creating a pinion gear. (sketch a circle/sketch a tooth on diameter of circle/create 4 center lines/mirror tooth over 4 center lines so you have 6 equidistant teeth / delete line segments / blend - import sketch, scale down, rotate, repeat / complete blend) basically a twisted gear.   Instead of just 6 teeth I would like to do 50.  It would be tedious to create dozens of center lines and 50 mirror steps etc.  I thought if I patterned a single tooth about an axis I could easily create 50 evenly spaced teeth.   The problem I have now is the original sketch (single circle and tooth) and the patterned teeth are not part of the same sketch and therefore are not a closed shape suitable for using in a blend.   It would seem a pattern function WITHIN sketcher would solve this but that seems like a no no in Creo.  Can someone suggest how I can achieve this?  Basically I need to make a sketch and a pattern somehow

Hi everyone, i chose Thingworx platfom for my study project. In general, there is should be robot which sends and also recieves data from Thingworx mashup via Nodemcu ESP8266. Hello guys, to show all model annotations (e. g. all dimensions) in a drawing, I usually click "Show model annotations" and then select my model in the model tree. Yet it seems that some dimensions (they always seem to belong to a pattern) are shown only if you click directly on the pattern in the model tree. That is a little annoying as I want to  get really all dimensions at one click without being in danger of missing any. Is there a way to do that?   Greetings

Good night channel friends, I'm formatting a sheet in mathcad prime 5, and the following happened: the equation got bigger than the sheet, I would like to introduce a line break in the equation, but the CTRL + Shift + Enter command does not work. The activation icon (Equation Break is erased all the time, as shown).

I'm still learning Creo 3.0 and this forum.  I have about two hundred part files that I want to measure the surface area of but I want to avoid manually measuring each.  I hope there is a feature where I can batch measure the surface area of each part and export the result into a table with two columns: part file name, surface area   Any hints please?

I'm trying to initialize a dropdown type list with a selection already shown. I have a service that returns a list in the following format: returned list with selection When I use it on a mashup with a list item, the "selected" item is not displayed upon list loading. loaded list, no selection How can I make it so the list initializes with the selected rows returned by my service?

Hello,I have a problem with displaying images in *.pdf format in Arbortext Editor.The files with standard extensions (*.jpg, *.eps, etc) are displayed in Arbortext Editor, but when I try to insert an image in the *.pdf format, all I can see is an icon indicating a missing image.Does anybody know if this is a matter of changing the display options or maybe this format is not supproted?Thank you very much in advance.Sandra

I know this can be done for WVS scheduler but I am looking for general instructions related to a old Windchill idea Task for notifying users on running old Tasks. Cat herding has not worked and I believe there are a set of infrequent users who let the "you have a task" emails flow by.  I am looking to see if anyone has written a custom job scheduler in Windchill that can run daily or on a schedule to process open tasks and look for the late ones.   My requirements on email notifications would be unique but I am looking for the hooks to schedule jobs and execute them. Are there existing queues to piggie back on or do I need my own queue? Looking for your feedback and I will share what I learn on my own.

Good morning,   It seems that I am having issues creating a dimension from an object in a detailed view to the centerline from the parent view. Anyone know why and how to troubleshoot?   The views are up-to-date so I know that isn't the issue. The only way I can get it to work is by using annotations which, even then, doesn't always give me the dimension I need.

Attached are two Mathcad 15 M050 files.  The Test_SUBROUTINE worksheet works; however, Test_FUNCTION worksheet does not work.  I assume it is because a vector cannot have arguments?  I really want to use the Test_Function worksheet as a reference sheet in other programs.  Any help is appreciated. Hello,   Is it possible to define custom units in Prime 5.0 Express?  I have a drop down in Math Formatting and unit is there and not greyed out. However, no matter how I try, I cannot change any variables to the unit format. So I started to think maybe this is not supported in the Express version.     Thanks,

Hello guys, I would like to display the mass of the assembly components in a repeat region (BOM) on a drawing. My search brought me to the pro_mp_mass parameter which is part of the process. It seems there are two ways to access it: Either by creating a part relation like weight=pro_mp_mass and then using asm.mbr.weight in the repeat region or by directly using asm.mbr.pro_mp_mass. All in all I have three questions:   1) Does it make a difference which of the above mentioned ways I use? 2) pro_mp_mass seems to be some hidden parameter as it doesn't show up in the part parameter list. Is there a way to see these hidden parameters or do you basically have to know their names to be able to access them? 3) Is there an official solution from PTC or a step by step tutorial that describes how to properly create a "mass field" in a repeat region and get it filled? If so, does someone have a link?   Greetings

Hello everyone,   so I am wondering whether it is possible to "extend" a thing shape by another thing shape.   E.g I have a thing shape called "ThingWithLocation" which just contains a location property and another Thing Shape called "ThingWithState" which contains some sort of state property.   Now I would like to create a Third Thing Shape called "ThingWithStateAndLocation" without defining it from scratch (would be a lot of redundant code in case of more complex services contained in the thing shapes).   Note: I am aware that you can simply add both Shapes to a Thing or Template, but I would like to extend the "ThingWithStateAndLocation" Shape with mechanism that takes the properties of the different shapes into account. (e.g if the location changes the state changes to "moving") By adding each shape individually to a thing I would have to implement the mechanism over and over again for every thing/ thing template.   Any advices are appreciated very much. &n

Hello, we use the presentation templates to define different images for different types. Now some images have been updated and we have overwritten the images of some types in the original folder. The link under "Image URL" in the presentation template has not changed, only the image itself.Unfortunately not all changed images are displayed (in some types the old images are still visible, in some already the new ones).Does anyone know this behavior and can tell me how to solve it? Is there a hidden cache for this? Thank you
