In a Thingworx service, we are setting a property value inside a script. The property is a remotely bound tag to Kepware. In the next line, we are trying to read the value but instead of getting the recently set value we get the old value.    logger.debug(me.value);  // Value is 0 initiallyme.value = 1;logger.debug(me.value);  // Still returns  0 Is this the expected behavior? We have tried both "read from cache" and "fetch from remote" settings on the parameter.   If we add a pause to the code we need about 200 ms to get the new value.   Many thanks!Erik

I have an issue that is currently driving me crazy. I have a pattern of slots and each slot has a datum axis that was created using an axis point. When I create my drawing view and show the axes, they are all sized smaller than the width of the slot as shown in the picture. I would like resize all of the axes but I end up with one of two problems:   1. I don't see any way to "snap" the axes to the same size when I resize them. This results all of the slots having a different size axis and it looks terrible. 2. If I try to resize them as a group, they all change sizes at different rates and it also looks terrible.   Anyone know how to resize a group of axes quickly so that they are all the same size?

Hello guys, friday evening Creo crashed while saving and damaged the asm file it was supposed to save. To overcome the problem, i deleted the damaged version and used the last properly saved version instead. To my surprise, the old version seems to be almost identical to the new one (the latest versions of the used parts seem to be included). So does it make any difference if i work with the old version? The asm itself has not been changed since then, only some parts have been modified which should be no problem as Creo always loads the latest versions. Or might I face troubles down the road?   Greetings

In the projects we have, we often use the AzureIoTSendMessage service to send commands to the machines. (C2D message) after 5 January 2019 we started to have problems below. It resolves briefly by restarting the connector but after a short time the problem occurs again. I have both 8.1 production infrastructure and 8.3 for Development.   The problem is the folowing:   When I use the AzureIoTSendMessage service, dosen't work. I'm adding flexibility to my library fasteners to get them to fill out the repeat regions of the parts lists the way I want, yet when I went to make the parameter "PTC_MATERIAL_NAME" flexible it was not on the list.  If I can't make that flexible it REALLY throws a monkey wrench into my plans.   Does anyone know if there's a Pro/WORKAROUND for this?  Or am I simply stuck using the Pro/FANITY module (again...)?   Grazie!

I am looking for a config option or UI customization setting that would enable me to create context sensitive smart filter settings. One example is if I select a feature in the model tree and use RMB to select the edit dimension option I would like for the selection filter to default to dimension.   In this particular use case it would seem obvious that if I want to edit dimensions the filter should change to "dimensions" but it defaults to "all". With the filter set to all it can be difficult to pick dimensions in the graphics window.   I can hack this using a nested mapkey but it seems like this should be enabled by the UI customization tools. I have reviewed some documentation and the knowledge base but can not find anything so far.

HelloI am not much into installation... I tried to install Creo 4.0 M30 with Protoolkit and object toolkit. Once I open Creo session post installation, I am able to find that both extension are available.Moreover, I could not find any header files related to Protoolkit into Creo installation folder. This is local installation on a machine. Could anyone tell me what is missing as it is confusing to have missing header files even though one can check availability of extension license into Creo.Also would appreciate if one can give me installation link of Creo 4.0 M30.Thanks in advance.RegardsKetan

Hi there.   Is there anyone who use Cent OS 7 as license server of Flexnet for Creo?I know supported Linux distribution is Redhat according to PTC platform support information.But I want to use existing Cent OS 7 machine as license server if it is possible.I tried it. It seems that lmgrd and vendor daemon work normally, and lisence server check during Creo installation process on client Windows PC is also success. However when I launch Creo, license check error(-96) happen.Should I do any works to resolve issue and is there anything for investigation?

Hello I would like to create a custom service with some filters for QueryImplementingThingsWithData in order to be able to use in an advanced  grid and to keep the "Query" parameter available for the grid functions such as search, filter, sort, etc ... functions   The issue is that my thing template is made of several Thing shapes so I cannot select it for infotable  output of my custom service, so I cannot bind in mashups.   Is there another way to filter this  QueryImplementingThingsWithData  and to keep the "query" parameter free for binding with advanced gris filter ?   How is it done in the mashup Data as the QueryImplementingThingsWithData   is returning all properties from different shapes of my Thing template  when used directly from the Composer ?   Thnaks    

I am using Proportional Chart to show Machine Running & Machine Idle time. It's working correctly  but when i am going to show it on value display it's shown wrong. Can anyone help me with any short script to differentiate time and show it on different value display like (Machine Running & Machine Idle).
