How do I check in Creo 4.0 whether I am logged in or my friend's Id and license are working? I want my ID, profile and license there.   Do these informations become a part of files? If yes,how can I check that from a file?

I have installed creo 4.0 . Now it is not uninstalling. How do I uninstall it?

I have a model made by someone else. I am tending to replace few screws for other bolts. replacing did not work. After operation nothing is changed. As a second solution I have deleted the screws and called a new bolt to assembly from a family table. The bolt is added to the model tree as a part however it is not visible in the model. it is also not hidden. (see the images attached) To check if the part works, I have made a new assembly and called the part in the new assembly. As a result it is visible in the new assembly.   What am I missing here?

I have a format template that a client gave me a long time a go, it is size E, but i need to make it bigger, when I click sheet set up and define the grid outline, it keeps saying size E. My real problem is that when I try to publish it as PDF it only shows what fits in the size E not the size I defined. Any help?I am using Creo Elements Pro

Hello ThingWorx wizards,In my mashup I execute a service every ten seconds, and then use the returned InfoTable to render a Repeater. The data changes are rare, so in 90% of the cases the returned InfoTable is the same.My problem is that the repeater gets visibly re-rendered every time the service returns, even if the data didn't actually change. Is there any reasonably elegant way to avoid refreshing the Repeater in this case?/ Constantine

JLink fails to list dimensions. I created a part in Creo Parametric, 4.0 and then created a drawing from that part There are 10 shown dimensions. I want to get a list of them using jlink. Hi Everyone, I built a custom toolbar by editing the editwindow.xml file in Arbortext (C:\Program Files (x86)\PTC\Arbortext Editor\lib\dialogs) however, I understand that it is not the correct way to add a custom toolbar. I've read a great part of the customization guide and also the programmers guide, but I just cannot find the information I need, in the form of a code sample,  that will help me do this all correctly.   I have removed the toolbar XML code from the editwindow.xml file and put it into a new file called "my-custom-toolbar.xml". I have also created a new file called "my-custom-toolbar.acl" that hopefully can be used to load the toolbar when a document is opened up in the Arbortext editor. Both of these files are in a following location on my PC:   C:\Program Files (x86)\PTC\Arbortext Editor\custom\editinit   I think I am close to succeeding because when I put a response("HELLO") message within the above ACL file, it showed up as expected. We have a workflow for submitting a file to a library. As part of that workflow, once an EPMDocument is approved, we want to move it to a specific folder. There's sample code listed on the support page that (after correcting typos) doesn't work. Instead, it comes up with a "Context not found: "Windchill PDM"" error. I tried changing the folder path in place of the default "System" but that doesn't change anything.  Where should I look to next? Hi all, I am looking to program a script (presumably VB) that can help automate the assessment of structural members. We have numerous structural members (with various material and geometric input properties), which are subject to varying applied input loading.    I'm looking to create a script that can read the input variables (geometry, loads, properties...) from Excel into a pre-existing MathCAD calculation. The MathCAD calculation uses the input variables to calculate structural member utilisations.   I would then like to export the MathCAD calculated utilisations to record them in Excel against the relevant member.    Many thanks in advance - Iain

Modeling inland 4 way plate and when I pattern the raised tread on the plate, I get the issue with transparency through the plate in certain areas.  Any ideas why this is happening?
