Hello everyone,   Since Creo 4.0 M030, when creating a hole through a part I noticed the note telling it's going through the part change to english from french. Since M030 it's written THRU instead of A TRAVERS. Any idea to change this ? All the rest of Creo is still in french as expected. Below the same file. The first picture shows the note with M040 and the second with M020.

Hello all,   I'm having issues installing Mathcad Prime 4.0 Express on a computer here. Whenever attempted, it returns with this error:   Could not access network location [MSIINSTALLPATH]. So I know this is possible to do as we had it at my last job.  When you hit the sketcher palette, it would have the default tabs but also had tabs that would reference folders on the server that all people using that config could access.   I want to have a database of logos, sketches, common drawings that my coworkers and I can access without having to have all the files locally.   Anyone know of a tutorial or a post that says how to either code or accomplish this?  I looked around a little bit.   (I know how to create new tabs in the local folder)     Thanks!

Hello   We have placed a hole into part file. It is threaded hole. Once I check dimension related to hole diameter, it is showing as Dia.14. Is there a way to change default representation for hole diameter dimension in case of threaded hole?   What we need is to have M15x1.5 (M Diameter value X Pitch Value).   Thanks and Regards Ketan

Hi all,   Is it possible to control a mapkey (like modelcheck and checkin) by VB api. My idea is to make a buttom in excel that executes the mapkeys. In the VB user guide from PTC there is an example but I can't figure it out. If I follow the instructions I get an error. When I try to import, Java heap space appears.After stopping Tomcat 81 (port used by ThingWorx) I checked that all the related services of the port had disappeared and tried to start Tomcat again.I added code to the context of Tomcat according to the installation guide.Also, adding -Xms2048m to the Tomcat manager will not start Tomcat.How can I get rid of the Java heap space and successfully import?thank

We get the following error when trying to start Thingworx.[message: Unable to initialize and start system: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!]Our Tomcat service seems to be starting okay, but not Thingworx.  We are trying to use Thingworx 8.0 on Tomcat 8.5.   I found one article that dealt with this for Thingworx 6.6 but the file mentioned there does not seem to exist here.I know this is probably a credentials error, so I am wondering if other than the platform-settings.json file in the ThingworxPlatform dir is there any other place where the credentials are stored?If I modify this file with a different username or password, then Tomcat stops working, so the password and username are valid at least for tomcat.Thanks.

  Let me give you a quick background of this part and my requirement as someone may be able to provide insight. I am creating an ethanol waste skid that includes a 1000 gallon tank: The part that I am concerned with straightening can be seen in the attached pictures. Although straightened is a correct term I really just need the revolved angle Iron to be: “un-revolved”. I need to maintain the “L” structural shape as the fabrication company will be “rolling” the angle Iron. I want to provide them with a length that they can cut and roll and have a correct part. Please be aware that I attempted this in a sheet metal part but was informed by PTC that a part cannot be un-revolved. I then  attempted to convert this framework part to sheet metal and try the same un-revolve action but I couldn’t even convert it to sheet metal as I couldn’t figure out what the driving surface is. When I start a new assembly file, I can see CSYS and 3 planes on the modeling window, but they are not shown in the model tree on the left. This does not happen when I start a new part file. Additionally, when I call in parts into this new assembly file, I cannot see the model tree of those parts (in other words, I cannot see the all the steps necessary creating that model) which makes it impossible for me to pick center axis or planes for correct constraints.    Please help

Hello All,I need to make a query in a datatable in a time range and once I have the results I need to get the row index so I get the immediate previous entry, and sometimes the immediate next one too. I will try to represent it in the image below:For example:I want to query the events between 12:00 and 16:00. If I make a query to get me the results with startTime>12 and  and Time<16 it will return Events #3 and #4, when in fact I need to get partially the times in Events #2 and #5.I considered querying the whole table into and infotable and then iterating it but it could be too much data. I also considered querying X hours before the startTime and Y hours after the end time, but this can be very flexible, so adding a couple of extra hours in the range might not solve.The way I thought it could work is if I queried the range, then got the KEY of the first and last items in the result and queried them again in the original DataTable, now trying to return its row index, but I a

Dear All,   I need to solve a non linear equation in mathcad 15.   Input     After a physical test, I obtain the Mbase and phi value, that I use to determine mu trend (right graph). I after need to use the mu function in a non linear equation, to determine the equilibrium configuration of the structure.   NL equation   How can I use the mu(phi) function in the NL equation? if I set mu as constant I don't have any problem.   I have a problem with mathcad file attach. I hava a parameter in one part, that defines it's height. I would like to link this parameter to other parts, for when i change the parameter in the first part, every part updates with the new height. How can i make this?

Hello All, Using creo elements/pro 5.0.Can anyone explain how formats work with drawings?Is the format embedded in the drawing?If I update a format file, do I have to manually reload the format in the drawing to see the changes?It appears some drawings still load old format files (different file name) AFTER I have load the new format (new file name).Whatever the issue, it is not consistent. Most drawings have no problems, others seem like to they are still “pointing” at the old format file. Note, I always use “remove all format tables” when reloading a new format. The picture shows the new format (yellow) with the old (white).Any help is greatly appreciated.
