Hello Everyone.I have created a MAPKEY to choose a config file from the Working Directory. Its working fine in manual mode.Now i have added this mapkey to a Button Function. What actually the button will do is it will launch the CREO first after that it should run the mapkey to select the config file.Launching CREO is working fine but its not running the macro. Howdy. The question has been asked before, but the solution offered isn't quite what I'm looking for and thought you all might have some constructive input.I want the ability to have a drop-down list of variables for a given parameter. For example, the parameter is MATERIAL and I'd like the drop down list in the model tree to contain ALUMINUM, STEEL, ABS, etc. The answer that is out there is use the Restricted Parameter List, which works almost exactly how I want except it is a RESTRICTED list.In other words, I want the convenience of having a drop down list but I want my users to be able to use a value that's not in the list. Also, I don't want to have to modify my restricted parameter file every time someone wants to use a new material.Does that even make sense? Any ideas on how to do this?Many thanks,-Chris

Hello alll,   I am trying to assign Material from material library for the instances of a Family Table. Has anyone have idea on this ? Family Table consits of instnaces with different materials. I tried assining density to each instances by using relations and I could create it. Is there any way to import the load details into Creo Simulate loads from XLS?I have all the load details that are output from Adams simulation in XLS format. I need to input these values into Creo Simulate loads and run the analysis.Since entering these values manually is cumbersome and may lead to typos, it would be better that we have an option to import these values from XLS.P.S: Iam using Creo Simulate 2.0 M180

Hi,I implement a service that create a json and a csv file consisting on a given thing. This both files will be sent via AnalyticsServer_DataThing.CreateDataset() to Analytics. Relatively common I get an SSLException on anyltics (job details):When it comes to this error it does not work to add a dataset via the analytics mashup either. I get the same error. On Analytics settings SSL is unchecked, and I'm not using a SSL (because I working on a local mashine).Sometime it help to restart analytics or the maschine where its runs.PS: I'm using Thingworx 8.1.1-b108 & Analytics 8.1.040000

I am trying to connect kepware to thingworx to display an on off switch and I am having trouble on thingworx property editor editor. Dear community,   I Installed yesterday the ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps on my computer and I tried to connect it to my KepWare server (KEPServerEX 6) without success. I always got the same message: error: Could not initialize a secure socket connection.   I followed exactly the tutorial video, verified  the host, port, resource, application key, and Thing name. I even ping to hostname to verify it receives something. I already tried several times to uninstall and install everything again without sucess.   Could someone have a clue?   Thanks for your help.   Marc

I am trying to assign the output of a function to a variable.  However, despite presenting the results correctly initially, it throws an error "These values cannot be compared" when I try to assign it. What am I doing wrong?

I am having a problem when saving files in Creo Parametric 3.0. It happened to me for the first time and I really don't know what to do. I can normally draw a new model, save it and it will be ok, but if I later modify the same model, save it again and close the program, the model goes back to initial state when I reopen the program (changes don't save). I'm not doing anything different than usual, have working directory set up properly and all that. Even if I save it as a backup, it goes back to initial state. Thank you for your help.

Hello all,     I have created two sequences using two figures,is it possible to play both the sequence in AR experiences. Using toggle button i bind one of the sequence and i added another toggle button & binded the second sequence, but in the preview only one sequences is played.Help me out

Hi all,   We have some notification triggers that send our users a mail about specific situations. These triggers then read certain fields of the triggering item in order to use these contents in the text of the mail for a quick overview. Some of these fields are rich text fields, which are basically composed of MKS-HTML code. But now this code can't be understood by Outlook or other mail programs, so that the MKS-HTML tags can be seen in the text of the mail, which makes the whole thing very difficult to read.   Has anyone found a way to filter out this MKS HTML code or convert it to normal HTML without parsing all the text in the mail trigger script? Hi everybodyWe have an important issue with a client , he wants to put on machines some thingmarks , each thingmark with an specific AR experience , for our client (Quality inspector) is so complicated scan and scan again each thingmark , he needs something which let him do it more dynamic because the company  has thousends of machines to be monitored , then it is not so practical the current configuration to scan each thingmark. We would like to know what is the best path to solve this issue , how should we modify something in ThingWorx Studio, ThingWorx, ThingWorx View? Hi All , I have a question regarding material properties in creo 3 simulate. I have a sub assembly of bar and slide. Bar is  fixed on both ends and slider is fixed on right side and force is applied on the left side acting horizontally to the right. Small clearance and contact setup between parts. I run 2 non linear analysis and want to see if changing bar material (say from EN8 to EN24) would reduce the deflection in bar. The problem is that it  does not make any difference when i change material in my analysis for this assembly. However if i run this only on bar itself it does affect the results, and show less deflection on bar.  I have edited material properties as per attached screenshots, is there something i am doing wrong?

Hi,The Thingworx analytics server which I am trying to work on is crashing soon after it starts. Some microservices come in the failed state after a few seconds of starting or restarting the server. It was working perfectly for the first few days after installation as I ran some test on it using the sample data (nothing fancy, just the basic model generation, signal generation etc.)I have also checked the application key for the expiration date and it is well under validity period. Please find the attached screenshot for the status check the message.Also, the models  which were created with the sample dataset are nowhere to be found and if I am trying to make new models using the same beanpro dataset then the job is 'failing' (attached screenshot))The server has a native Linux deployment.Thanks!

I currently have a problem working in some drawings, that a colleague with an identical machine does not have.  I open a drawing and can move text, move views, etc with no problems.  If I attempt to edit annotation or open the properties window of an annotation, I will crash with the fatal error message.  Like I said, I have asked a colleague to try, who has an identical computer as mine, and they can do whatever they want with the drawing and do not crash.  I am thinking this is a JAVA issue, but we even have alike JAVA Versions.  I have even tried a new workspace and gotten the same results.   Can anyone offer me some advice to troubleshoot this before I open a ticket with PTC?  I have read through some other likewise threads, and tried the graphics opengl and win32_gdi, with no change in issue resolution.   Kind Regards,   Kevin

mouse scroll zooming in creo 2.0 is not working since i upgraded my lenovo z50 laptop into windows 10. I'v tried changing the mouse and even re-installed the software. Can anybody help me to find the solution?
