HiI am using Windchill Connector Thing and trying to hit a Windchill REST API url through a service from that Thing. I am getting a error message as "Client Not Trusted; Cause: JSON Server error HTTP 403".Do I need to make any specific configuration changes on both Thingworx and Windchill Servers.ThanksPrasoon

Hi,I'm quiete new in the thingworx business and face the following issue:I fetch an Report from Windchill by an Service and get an resulting infotable. One Field of the columns represents a date/time attribute that unfrotunatley uses an unsupported format like "2017-08-10 11:32:00 CEST". If I use datetime type attribute in the datashape it results in ierror that CEST is malformed. For analysis in thingworx I need this field in datetime format. My approach now is to truncate the "CEST" portion an convert the field from string into datetime. I tried something with derived filed function, but didn't succeed. I can't imagine that this usecase is unusual but haven't found the right answer in the community so far. I looking forward to your assistance. Thanks in advane!

Hey everyone, i have a problem that i ve tried to solve for a week and the thing is I can send data using Arduino+IntelEdison with some sensors but i have clearly no idea how to Recieve data from ThingWorx Thing property. Hi!I have some trouble getting a equation work properly and wonder if someone here are able to help me?So the problem is that x is a length in meters, but if i add it in to the equation it cant give any solutions to the ones in the green box. Hi everyone,I'm creating an Eyewear project in ThingWorx Studio and I see there are some Application Events that can be fired with a gesture.I read in the help page of Vuforia (here: https://help.vuforia.io/studio/index.html#page/ThingWorx_Studio_Help_Center%2FEyewearExperiences.html%23) that Application Events can be bound to a service to complete actions like playing a sequence, but I see that there's the "JS" button and a textarea like in the click event for a 2D button for example.I tried to call a function there, but in the preview mode nothing happens. (I didn't test with HoloLens because I don't have HoloLens yet)Is there the possibility to call a JS function or it's ONLY for binding service?Thanks,Alessio

I added a few images to my model using View > Model Display > Images > Add Now I want to remove those images. I tried following PTC's instructions (link below), but I'm stuck at step 2; I can't select an image. Clicking the image in the graphics window does nothing, and when I click the imported images dropdown, it's empty.   Is there any way to get rid of the images from the model? Hi,As the title suggests, I am looking for an alternative in Tjingworx as to how I can mimic the continous operation of a Thing? For eg., if I have a Windmill and I want to simulate to get the speed data from its edge sensors (one of the examples of Thingworx tutorials), then what are the possible ways in which it can be done. Of course, the Postman acting as a data generator is one way (as taught in the tutorial) but the problem with Postman is that even if I use Postman runner to generate data for more than once, it can only generate a finite number of iterations and it stops eventually once those iterations are done.I wanted to know that is there any other way we can simulate this behavior in the TW which does not need the maximum number of iterations etc. to be performed and keeps on generating data continuously unless stopped?  For eg: leaving it running for more than a couple of hours or more and being able to experience a simulated real-time continuous data generation?

I am using internal H2 db to host my application data as well. So I have created a database and a table in H2 database from H2 console. When I try to connect to this database and access the table data, I am getting error IO Exception: "java.io.IOException: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect"; "TCP:C:/ThingworxStorage/database/<my_database_name>.mv.db" [90031-192]Note: I can see that <my_database_name>.mv file is getting created under ThingworxStorage/databaseMessage was edited by: Pawan Badiger added note

Hello everyone, I meet some difficulties with limited access to project and documents. In our configuration we define 3 groups with specifics rights : - Creator for editing and assigned user of document. - Reviewer for Review Pending phase. - Signatory for Signature phase. In each group, there are many users. Now, I want to create a project visible by only few users. So the logic is different, I don't care of group, I want to allow access to documents of this project to only few users. But Integrity allows me to limited access only with available groups. So if I want to give access to User A with Creator role, I shall give access to the whole Creator group. So all users of Creator group have access...   How I can use Integrity with real societal concern, confidentiality of project, etc... Hi,I have a subscription to an alert that has stopped sending emails. The subscription to AnyAlert is enabled on a Thing Template, and the alerts are enabled on the appropriate Things. Hello everyoneI have a table (Data) that contains a large number of rows in which values of X and Y are found.What I'm trying to do is get the angles between the vectors that form these points and I do not know if it is possible to do this calculation.To better understand what I want, I have attached an example of what I want to do automatically, because in order to get what I want first, I must draw these vectors and measure those angles manually and it takes a long time.In advance thanks for the help

We are using a template of files that I run a macro to update all the file names to a new project name. Is there any way within Arbortext to update the file name paths quickly (rather than manually)?   InDesign has a built in feature to "update links" that works well... just curious if there i something for Arbortext. We are using Arbortext 7.0    Here is the screenshot: In the example below, all the "xxxx_" needs to be updated to "desired_project_name_"  

Hello, We are using Arbortext Editor 5.4 for authoring some newsletter in SGML. My editors need to know the number of characters in their title. I know we can count the number of words... but it's not relevant for them. So I'm guessing if it's possible to count the numbers of chars in a tag with a macro or something else... Hi,I am trying to utilise the Inheritance model of Thingworx and implement it with data coming from Industrial Connectivity.I have created a ThingTemplate [Battery_Template] with RemoteThing as Base ThingTemplate with properties of my BatteryStorage Entity such as Battery Status, Battery Voltage and Battery Temperature. I also set the binding of all those properties to Remotely, but obviously, I can't choose the Tag at this stage because I haven't defined IndustrialThingShape. I need to create IndustrialGateway thing separately and attach it to my Thing only.Then I have created a Thing [Ind_Battery] from above ThingTemplate and with IndustrailThingShape as Implemented Thingshape. I have also created a Thing [Ind_Gateway] with IndustrialGateway thingtemplate and connected it with my Industrial Connectivity software. I can see my tags in Ind_Gateway, but whenever I am trying to bind them to the properties in Ind_Battery it didn't allow me. I am not sure how would I achieve it.I can creat

Hi,I'm looking to open up an information popup within a mashup when an event happens.I have a counter, when that reaches zero, I want the popup to open with some information.Currently I have only found how to open the popup using the Navigation widget.Any help would be appreciated.

Hello everyone,I am trying to display a modal popup through a Navigate widget that displays a static mashup with a simple loading GIF. It, the static mashup, is configured with a mashup parameter and this parameter is the one that I use to trigger the CloseIfPopup event with the personnal ParamChanged event. But whenever the popup opens, it closes instantly and after that the popup does not want to display anymore. And I want to open it a multiple time in the mashup.I spoke about this to the PTC's support and they said that it is an internal issue and it is reported to the development team. And they have redicted me to consult the community.In my example I cannot use the Data Loading attribute of a widget ! All I want is to prevent the user from clicking on another part of the mashup because the service called can be very long depending on the query you want to execute !So I come here to know if somebody have an alternative to this solution ?Regards,Antoine LA TORRE
