I am new to Creo Parametric 4.0, and I was wondering if 3D printers print cosmetic threads on parts, or if the threads have to be modeled manually to be printed? Thanks.

Hi. I'm trying to open a popup mashup only if a parameter that I pass to a expression widget have certian value. So, i added the widget to the mashup and binded the changed event to the "navigate" service on my navigation widget but it doesn't work, i also selected on the DataChangeType dropdown  the "value" option, with no success. Hello everyone,I have recently started utilising the Report Manager (Query Builder), to produce a number of reports on CAD data, and I am struggling to produce a report to meet my needs!I am trying to create a report that lists all the latest (version and iteration) EPMDocuments and their associated WTParts in certain contexts. The key part I am struggling with is the link between the EPMDocs and the WTParts, although clarification on how to definitively only receive the latest version and iteration of the document would also be appreciated.I am able to create individual reports on both EPMDocuments and WTParts, however, linking the two is proving harder than I thought.Any advice or explanation on how to do this would be greatly appreciated, if at all possible I would like to understand the solution rather than copy it. Both desktop and laptop failed within a month of each other so after a hard drive wipe, I reinstalled all my software.   However, I installed PTC Creo 'before' I installed Outlook (so at the time of reinstallation, I didn't have access to the licence file but now I do). I thought I could add the licence file after installation but when I run PTC Creo 3.0, I get a pop-up titled "PTC Creo View Startup".   I selection the edition (Creo View Standard) and for MCAD Licence Options I select "Load when required" for both interference analysis and animator.   It asks for "Licence Information" (i.e. licence server) and Pre-configured Licence Servers...   ...but it does allow me to drag/drop the licence file.   Can anyone help? I reviewed the 3 pages of problems that others experienced, including going to C: > Program Files > PTC > Creo 3.0 > M040 > Options Modeler > bin > "reconfigure" but that doesn't work.

Hello, Can anyone know how to control decimal rounding up/down value in Creo drawing? Please see the screenshot of it    I want to give a tolerance of 0.15, not 0.154. but in inches, it should be 0.006. here the tolerances are rounding down. I often use a selected planes (start and end) in drilling cycles and most of the time things go well.  However, when I need it to go well the most, such as when I need to put out a quick hole pattern for an operator things don't go as expected.  A lot of parts I work on are round, sort of like a big wheel hub.  Operation Z Zero is the center portion of the hub.  Clearance plane for the operation and all of the sequences is set to a plane above the center hub.  The hole pattern lies below the center hub on the flange.  About a quarter of the time (maybe less), the resulting post will put the drill pattern out with the R plane at .025" above the flange and will put the tool right through the center hub without retracting to the clearance plane of the operation or sequence.  In order to fix this, I have to select the top of the center hub as the start surface, which causes the drill to run at feed rate the entire distance - but at least it isn't broken.&

Hello, Can anyone help me with this,   I have this situation. I need to hide some lines in creo drawing, so I started using Edge  Display tool from Layout>edit> Edge Display   So it removes some of the solid lines, but some of the dimmed lines were unable to hide. CPS have Component? There are two to four components within a CPS.For example, CPS06 includes service packs, Workgroup Manager, and Third Party Software.So, if you update to CPS 06, does that mean that a separate Workgroup Manager is installed without additional installation?In the past, when I installed PDMLink, I selected Workgroup Manager and installed it. In this case, only PDMLink is installed.If so, should the workgroup manager be pre-installed for the update?Or do you mean that without the Workgroup Manager you will be installing via an update?       Thank you.  

Hi all users In a assembly i have 2 same parts (Rep 2 & 3) but with a flexibility define (a O-RING in this sample). In the BOM table i found 2 lines. 1 for each case of flexibility of my part. Hello everybody, I'm trying to change the sum of angles theta 1,2,3 to a new angle phi. The matrix T03 is the solution of A01*A12*A23. I have been using symbolic keywords like substitute, using and other types of solution but nothing works to show the same matrix T03 but with cos(phi) and sin (phi).  There is some way to do it? Any help or advice? Thanks.  

Hi, I am new with APP, better said with how APP works. I am trying to put together a list of effective pages (LEP).   I do understand the concept of traversing the document, extract the page number for each page and put it into a javascript global variable of type array and extract the info from the array into a lep page set or page region. What I am having trouble with is where (in what edit source?) to declare the array global variable and then how to access the array from the page set or from the page region.   Thank you for help in advance!   Florin

We want to do a Demo with a real connection from a machine to an AR experience , we have ThingWorx, Kepware and ThingWorx Studio . We have some parameters like cycle time , temperature and  vibration rate , we can see the information on real time on a chart , I would like to know if it is posiblle to use a chart to see on real time these parameters and the record from some hours ago . Does someone have a background on this kind of AR experiences using charts ?Regard

Hello everyone,   I am trying to convert the .prt into .step, during this process we can the co-ordinate system as well. I have the common name for co-ordiante system all parts. I have recorded the mapkey with selecting the co-ordinate system. If i am running the same mapkey for different parts, it is unable to select the co-orinate system. Gving the error message "Select co-ordinate system, Export aborted". I have this doubt and also, How to select the particualr feature from tree using the name..   Thanks in Advance

I have a spatial experience.  when the experience is viewed, the model is inadvertently scaled.I'd like to add a button to reset the scale back to 1 or better yet, lock the scale.any thoughts?
