Hello,I'm working with creating a mashup that utilizes Tabs to get a specified layout, but I'm having some formatting issues. I have it set to show 5 tabs along the top of the mashup, however it will sometimes show 4 tabs or sometimes only 3. I have been able to mess with the sizing of the font and tab height to get all 5 tabs to show up in the composer, but when I got to view the mashup preview, one or two of the tabs will disappear. I have included a few screenshots to show what I am talking about.Here it is within the composer:And here it is on the preview:I'm running Thingworx 7.3.

What would cause two different users, using the same mfg file, to get two different ncl outputs? Hi all,   I'm trying to extrude a 2D image of an airplane that I created from complex curves in the Style tool. However, the extrude feature only seems to take sketches. I've tried workarounds with the offset, project, sweep tools, etc, but none have worked. Does anyone know how to extend this image in the normal direction and make a solid object?

I would like to make all solid surfaces one color and the part another. This way when I use inheritance and make all the machined cuts there is a contrastin color automatically showing the machined features. Is this possible?   I am coming from WF3 and have found using the new interface a bit of a chalange in regards to how the system selects surfaces.    Thanks in advance, Chris

Hi, I am trying to update a  stream entry with a user who is not Administrator but I get this error: "Unable to Invoke Service UpdateStreamEntry on DefaultAlertStream : null"   When I am Administrator it works fine.   Version used: ThingWorx 7.4.0-b159   I have the same config (scritp, visibility, etc) using version TW 7.3.3 and i don't have error.   Thanks.

I have created many parts using the sheet metal app, but I am tryIng something different and am having a problem. I am trying to create a label using the sheet metal app to determine the flat pattern for diecutting.  The label has a large bend radius, and an irregular outer shape with no straight edges. I can create the 3D form of the part without trouble, but then I am unable to create a flat pattern feature because the function requires a straight edge for reference. Any way around this?

I've been researching how Industrial Connections work using Thingworx 8 and KEPServerEX.  I understand how KepServer tags can be added to Things in 2 ways:By selecting tags from the Industrial Connection Thing -> Discover and using the "Bind to New Entity" buttonBy going to a Thing -> Properties -> "Manage Bindings" button -> Remote and selecting KepServer tagsI don't have Thingworx/KEPServer instances to try this myself yet, but I've seen these done in the Core documentation and a webcast.  Both of these methods either create New Things or New Thing Properties.My question is whether or not you can bind KepServer tags to Thing Properties that have already been created?  Ex) Bind KepServer tags to Properties inherited from a Thing Template/Shape.​Best practice for modeling is to define Thing properties at the Thing Template level.  If we create all needed Properties before adding tags to a Thing, then we need to be able to bind tags to the already created

I'd like to export some of the data in a grid. I have attached the all data from my service to the grid, configured the grid columns so that they are user friendly (Ex. OwnerEmail to Owner Email) and removed the grid columns, that I do not want to see and download. I bound the Data Export widget to the edited table, but the mashup will not download the edited table. How can I get the export widget to download the edited table? When i bind the data from the service directly, I can export all the data. However the column titles are not user friendly and there are columns I do not want to download. Thank you

Hello   I'm trying to compute the stress under circular load (not only below center line, but below any point).   I have found the attached article about the topic, but I wasn't able to make the computation indicated in formula 3c. The units doesn't seem to match. (http://onlinepubs.trb.org/Onlinepubs/hrr/1963/39/39-004.pdf)   I have found an old mathcad computation sheet about the problem, but the reference to these formulas is unclear.   The attached sheet includes some of my tries to solve this problem based on the attached article. Hi I'm Seon Ho.     After applying the Navigate extension, I can see Windchill's information through Thingworx by adding the Windchill Administrator account to the Thingworx Administrators group. This is a question about how to make a more detailed configuration.     There is no single organization or product in windchill.     First, do I need to distribute it to each organization or group of organizations?     If you add a group called sales to Thingworx and then log in to Windchill's account, it will be automatically added to the group called sales. Can it be mapped by organization, team, role, or group? If you can, let me know how.     When you log in to Thingworx with a Windchill account, an account is created automatically. Hi,I am trying to set up SAPODataConnector in Thingworx 8.1 (non-docker install), but cannot find the Integration Runtime Service download on the market place. The link https://marketplace.thingworx.com/tools/thingworx-integration-runtime ThingWorx IoT Marketplace​  produces a 404 error. Where can it be downloaded?Or, maybe, the Integration Runtime Service is included in Thingworx 8.1 ? - then can anybody provide a link to a corresponding documentation or setup guide?Thanks for any hints!Regards,Irene

Hello, I like to create a message box from a rule-based event. Trying to use command "window.alert" I always get error 'not defined'. Using lookupbean I fail cause I find a message only for package siEnvironmentBean, which does work for IM.   Does anyone have an idea that works? Hello,Does anyone know what the command is (if there is one) to edit reports in the query builder using the Windchill shell?Ideally I'd like to be able to completely replace a report already in the Query Builder with a .qml file, but still keep the original report ID.If this isn't possible, does anyone know the command to just upload a new report to the Query Builder in the form of a .qml file (I'm fairly sure that this is possible as I believe I've done it before)?Any help is greatly appreciated!Many thanks,

I am using MathCad 15 Academic (professional?) and have a problem that involves several variables, e.g. x ,y, z,  that are implicit functions of a range variable, ϴ = 0, 0.1,…1,  e.g. 0 = f(ϴ,x,y,z).   I want to obtain explicit functions, e.g. x(ϴ, y), so that I can graph  x(ϴ, y) vs ϴ in order to determine if a supremum is at a boundary or interior value of ϴ.             I have several such variables, e.g. y(ϴ,z), which are part of a more complex function, e.g. G(ϴ, x(ϴ, y), y(ϴ,z)), that I want to evaluate in terms of a supremum for ϴ.  Using the “find” function in MathCad I have successfully obtained values of x, y, and G, for each of the values of ϴ and manually inserted these into a vector, e.g. x(ϴ, y).  However, I have not created a function as I cannot graph x(ϴ, y) against ϴ.   Evidently, there is something simple which I am not doing (despi

Hi,I am getting following error while installing Thingworx 8.1.war for postgreSQL on Tomcat 8.0.44 server in my system:java.lang.Exception: Unable to initialize and start system: Unable to decode avatar content: Can't create cache file!I installed postgreSQL9.4.5 in my system and done all setups for thingworx perfectly like creation of its tablespace, database and tables. Also I provided full read/write access permission on ThingworxPlatform, ThingworxPostgresqlStorage and ThingworxStorage.I kept licence binary file under ThingworxPlatform folder. As per stated in Thingworx 8.1 installation guide I downloaded this licence file and made entry for LicensingConnectionSettings in platform-settings.json.
