Hi everybody, I am trying to do some customization of drawing frames by pulling information from model manager and need a little help with 3 things: 1. My date field is displaying on the drawing however it displays in the following format: mm\dd\yyyy where I would prefer it to be dd\mm\yyyy - how would I go about changing this in model manager admin. I have looked through the data dictionary entry "DT_DD_UTC_TIME" but cannot find anything obvious to edit to get what I am looking for. 2. Model manager automatically comes standard with minor and major revisions of data. I would prefer only major revisions - how do I remove the minor revision field? 3. Fonts - I am able to change the default font to Arial in annotation and everything looks fine except for symbols (welding, surface, gd&t) - these are still the original font. How do I get these to change to Arial? Thanks in advance!

We are experimenting with the usage of Flexible Parts in house recently, and trying to build a use case for utilizing this functionality instead of creating an assembly or many instances to essentially call out the same part in various positions (specifically a door hinge in this use case).First off, I've tried utilizing a crude sketch to help control the position of the legs on the hinge as simply as possible.  I left one leg essentially fixed and locked to a datum, then have the other one rotating off center from that one.  Easy enough.  I then modeled simply, and set the part to be flexible.  Again, simple.I have modeled this part in to both Creo 3.0 and 4.0, and essentially get the same result once i model this into an assembly.  We like to set up some of our assemblies with mechanism's to test for clearances and such, so in a crude example, I modeled two place that will pivot using this "flexible" hinge.  I modeled in the first place as fixed, and the

I am using the Google Maps widget in a Mashup and I can set a location property for my thing that way: latitude and longitude.Using the Google Maps API (API key required from Google) you can convert a lat/long to an address string. (reverse geocode) Google has examples where you make an HTTPS request as a URL in the browser and then get back JSON that includes a value for the common address string.I have used the PostText and GetJSON using the ContentLoaderFunctions mechanism to interact with an endpoint that understands REST.But, and I may be missing something, I don't see how to get the JSON  content that comes back from the https request in the browser via REST. There are no CURL examples that I could find to REST-ify the Maps API usage.Can anyone offer a suggestion? I hadn't realised Creo 3 now has fasteners built in. Great. I've seen some tutorials, all looking good.But, and I apologise if this is a stupid question, it just doesn't seem to be visible. In the Tools menu, I don't have the IFX group, only Investigate, Model Intent and Utilities.I've checked my configuration, and afx_enabled is set to yes as is intellegent_fastener_enabled. Looking at customising my ribbon toolbar, it's not listed in there either.I understand the full extention is a licensed add-on, but thought the "lite" version was included? I have all the files in the "Common Files\afx" directory.What am I missing?Thanks

When trying to define a tool for face milling, I am unable to find a tool that gives the option of having an angle associated with it, radius seems to be the option.  45 degree face mills are a fairly common tool, how can I define this tool?  I am trying to face the part, and then mill the 45 degree angle in the part all with the same tool.  Aside of being unable to define the 45 degree face mill under face milling, I am also unable to use a face mill for chamfer milling.  The cam software that is being replaced does this job all with the same tool, and it is my job to replicate that.  What would be the easiest way to do this in Creo?Here the part needs to be face milled, and then using the same 45 degree face mill needs to mill the highlighted 45 degree chamfer.This is the tool I am using.

I'm having troubles installing Creo 4.0 M010 on my system, and also installing Mathcad Express 4.0. Basically what happens is that the installer at the very beginning asks for Universal C Runtime, directs me to the page to download the update, but the update is already installed on my system. PTC platform requirements lists .Net framework 4.6.2 so I installed it, and they mention you need to be "updated to the latest Microsoft updates". I found there was an error in my Windows Update database, took a couple of days to fix it and get all the updates, so now I have all the updates, KB2999226 installed, .Net 4.6.2 installed but still I'm stuck in the "you need Universal C Runtime" loop. Anyone had this issue and has some feedback? Opened a ticket but received no further help except from what I already tried (and did not work)

I made a tool using J-link and Java .I successfully loaded my tool in creo Session using Auxiliary Application=>Register an it loaded Successfully.When I click the button to open the tool then it will load but can't get the tool in-front of display. Everytime I am Using Alt+Tab and access the tool.Please help me to solve this .Thanks in advance.
