Is there a way to lock down the tables in a format so that users cannot manipulate what is inside of them but still have parameters inside the table update?

Dear all,I'm just wondering whether there is any chance how to create comparison of several variables in one line using function if or something different.Please see a screenshot what I need to compare. I marked up one line as example. I have a model.I update some parameter and when i click the Regenerate Button then the model gets regenerated and displayed.But i did something in my tool ,I give input through my tool.Its affect the parameter and updates the value.Now I want to regenerate the model by J-Link.model mode;model=Session.getCurrentModel();model.RegenarateRelation();model.display();But it wont regenerate the model.Please help me to solve my problem.Thanks in advance.

Dear users,   we use Direct Modeling 19M060 with Model Manager. I have a construction which contains parts that were downloaded from a supplier (Festo in this case). The parts seem to have some kind of link to a part library. Because they give the following error: I have pasted the details in the attachment of this message. Creo direkt Modeling Express 6.0 hat auf meinem Rechner immer sehr gut funktioniert.   Seit kurzem ist es sehr sehr langsam, der Blaue Kreis bleibt ewig, ein drehen des Zeichenbereichs ist kaum möglich.   Laut Task-Manager ist der PC nicht im Stress, auch ein deaktivieren des Virenscanners hat nicht geholfen.   Habe Creo und den Virenscanner neu installiert, ohne Erfolg.  Alle anderen Programme auf dem PC laufen unauffällig.   Danke, Georg

Hi all, I have a bit of a quandary.For a brief moment, I was able to host an installation of Creo Parametric on a virtual server, open Creo on my workstation, and connect it to another separate server that was hosting Windchill. Now when I launch Creo Parametric and click on the server manager, Creo throws an error: "The server is not supported." Does anyone have any experience with an issue like this?

I AM TRYING TO LIST OUT THE MASS OF THE PART WHILE MAKING BOM BUT UNABLE TO FRAME A USER DEFINED FUNCTION.I WANT TO RELATE THE MASS WITH THE DENSITY AND VOLUME.

I am new to PTC / Mathcad V15.0 but am trying to use this great tool effeciently.  For my job I have solved a problem which involves 8 equations and 8 unknowns.  I have successfully arranged my equations to arrive at the correct solve block answers using the command Find as shown below:The output naturally provides numeric (in this case...complex) solutions.  Here is where I need help.  With the results I need to conduct additional calculations but it does not seem that Mathcad does not recognize the value of each variable...such as K11 = 0.21675 + 0.19125i.   Must I define these variables manually after the solve block or is there a command which  will link the output to its respective variable.  I plan on using the 8Eqnt/8Ukn solve block to solve for different givens...however, this currently means I need to manually set the correct result for each of the 8 solved variables such as K11:= 0.21675 + 0.19125i.I appreciate any recommendations.Thank

Is there a way to use wildcard or Regex or similar stuff in filters when using Query Builder? I would like my query to seek for all items with Description containing a pattern.Example w/ regex: Description contains "(\d)*\s\w   It could be regex, wildcard, etc.

Hello,I am receiving an error that I believe could be linked to Run Time permissions, but I am at a loss on how to fix it!I created a mashup which calls a service from a Thing, in that Things service there is a call made to another service inside of its ThingTemplate:var result = me.ExecuteService(params); When trying to view the mashup, I am receiving a red error bar in the middle of the mashup's screen and am unable to view it. Others in the User Group I belong to are also receiving this same error when trying to view the mashup.  However, the Administrator on the account is able to view the mashup with no problems. My User Group has been allowed permissions to Property Read and Service Execute on the ThingTemplate and Thing whose service's are being run when the mashup loads.We've tried changing these Run Time permissions for the User Group in the ThingTemplate and Thing, but we still cannot seem to figure out the correct permissions to grant the User Group in order for us to b

From ThingWorks Market place I have downloaded extension for Meshlium extreme. Now in ThingWorks composer when I am trying to open my downloaded extension for Meshlium Extreme I am getting error thatCode:Extension must have a metadata.xml file.After importing this file only I can move forward. So please guide me for the same.Following are the steps what we have followed.1. We have downloaded the extension for Libelium Meshlium and Dashboard from ThingWorks marketplace. (Zip Files)2. Dear All,Currently we have Windchill Projectlink which is implemented to manage the Project across the Cross Functional teams. I have populated all the activities and RACI has been done and now we have it running in a perfect conditionMy concern is:1. For every document being uploaded and added as deliverables (documents are essentially, word, excel, igs, pdf and ppt and not other data), we have to route it manually for approval or release.Is there any possible way to get it done automatically for the documents uploaded in Projectlink.Reason for asking:Sometimes the users upload the document and set the track work to 100% before getting it to approval stage. Also I would like to ask, if an activity is set as complete, but as an admin I know it is not. Is it possible to revert it back and make users to rework on it.Thanks in Advance

I am currently deleting ValueStream data through the Purge service.However, it seems to be rejected when accessing data of ValueStream through other service in the middle of deletion deletion.Is it possible to pause the Purge service when I try to access data through other services in ValueStream?

Let me explain 🙂I have an assembly with a part. That part has some Copy Geometry. The source has an INPUT parameter.When I regenerate the assembly, the Copy Geometry will ask for the values of that INPUT.Is there a way to drive the INPUT of the Copy Geometry? Similar to how one would use EXECUTE statements in an assembly?

Up on the mini-ribbon, there's a drop down that controls axis, point, csys and plane display.How do I control which ones are on by default when i create a new part?  I'd like for datums to be on by default so I don't have to keep turning it on every time I create a new part and need to extrude, revolve, ect.

Hi Experts -I am looking for some help related to Thingworx Studio. I am able to pull property value from Thingworx and display within AR experience. But I am trying to update the value of a property of my Thing in Thingworx platform from my AR experience. Basically, like a toggle button within the (Vuforia) AR experience. On pressing the toggle button, I would like to update a property of my Thing. Is this even possible? Hello,I am walking through the ThingWorx Studio Tutorial and am invoking functions from a button.  When I perform the exercise and Preview, the label is shown and rotates as expected.  However, when I scan the target on my iPhone and select the Experience, the button shows, but the label does not. What I do get is a half-toned ThingMark and the text "Point camera at ThingMark" underneath.  I point the camera at the ThingMark that triggered the Experience, but nothing happens.I have placed the 3D Label above the plane, so it should always be visible, but it is never shown.Note - I did upgrade my iPhone to iOS 10.3.1 today.Any idea what I could be doing wrong?Many thanksEdward
