Hi all,I am trying to plot the graph for vm = 1, 2.But, I am getting error as 'All evaluations resulted in either an error or a complex result'when I plot for f(x) vs x.When I do the same program in Matlab for vm = 1, 2, I can able to get the result with no error.My question is, in mathcad, is it difficult to plot for vm = 1, 2 ?I attached my code below.Could someone help me.

In Creo 4 Parametric, one selects the leader line to change the arrow style of a BOM Balloon.  However, how do I do this on a reference BOM balloon?  The option is not there, and grayed out under customize.   Does anyone know?

Hi,   Is it possible to have the ISO tolerance tables always loaded(avoiding the step of retrieving the tables) ? With this I can reduce a step in drawing process increasing the productivity.

I am new to Thingworx hence started with a use case wherein consumer product for instance Washing Machine would be able to page the owner that it is running into some specific issue and would page relevant information. User on the other hand would see this error message in the mobile and would reply as FIX or NOFIX, the response would go to some robotic center which would assign available mechanic with relevant customer information and page the incident ticket nuimber to the customer.I am done with basic development of the solution in the composer however would like to expose the mashup's created to a mobile application. I was wondering if that is possible in a simple few steps or ways.Appreciate response !

I am installing Windchill11.0. and all of the packages are latest version from PTC software download web site. when  attempting to copy service pack to the staging folder, it says "Invalid CD selected. Please select another CD". And all of the others copy correctly. the service pack I download is “PTC Windchill 11.0 Service Pack - Critical Patch Sets Bundles M020 =>> MED-61006-CD-110_M020_M020-CPS04-Bundle.”  any ideas? 

Hello Community!I'm working on a stability problem for a ship.This involves the use of a GZ curve which I have successfully plotted with some help from Volker.GZ in ship language is the righting arm i.e. GZ is a distance in meters and if multiplied by the displacement mass of the ship a righting moment is created.In this problem a ship with the given GZ curve in my file has a mass moved from one side of the ship to another mass is 500 tonne and is moved a distance of 10m.This creates a healing moment of w *d *cos(theta) where w is the weight of the object, d is the distance moved and theta is the angle of heel which the ship will be in after the object is moved.The problem I need to solve is using the graph in my file work out which angles the ship will rest at i.e. moments be in equilibrium after the object of 500 tonne has been moved 10m along the deck of the ship (transversely)I have approached this in the attached file by weighing out the moments as they must be equal for equilibri

On our borders we used to have (In Creo 2.0) the format set to DD-MM-YY, but now in Creo 3.0 it switched around to MM-DD-YY. Is there a way to change this format so that it is DD-MM-YY or even DD-MM-YYYY?

Hello,Firstly, this is a feature of Mathcad I am exploring for the first time.I am looking at a problem whereby I have a series of coordinates which I have used to plot a graph.I now need to evaluate the graph in two ways. One I need to find what the largest value on the y value is and then the point at which the curve crosses the x axis (for the second time).I can do this by eye and say that y is larges at ~0.52 and the curve crosses the x axis at ~84 degrees.Is there a way to evaluate this mathematically to get a more accurate approximation?Also can anyone tell me how I can increase the accuracy of the scales i.e. the points on the x axis of interest are currently 81 then 90. How can I show more points i.e. increments of 1 degree on the x axis?Thanks,Andy.

Hi,I have created and extension in Java and imported successfully. After that I had modified configuration in extension and imported again successfully. However, configuration changes are not reflecting. Thingworx composer is showing old configuration.I had also deleted the extension and imported again successfully. We have been looking at duty cycle modulation (available in Edge SDKs) as a way to conserve resources (energy/power/battery life, bandwidth, etc.) on an edge device. However, it seems that the way the off-period of the duty cycle is implemented is to simply disconnect the communication endpoint from the server, and reconnect at the start of a new duty cycle (at least in the Java Edge SDK).Is this design intended? We would like if during the off-period, the client would still be able to receive some sort of keep-alive/force-connect message from the ThingWorx platform. I know that the client​ is able to initiate such connections by setting forceConnect to true when calling invokeService, but is there a similar mechanism available for the platform?

If bloom puts ThingWorx View to sleep, how do I wake View and maintain experience context?  I find if I click on the View window again it puts me in Scan mode.  I would rather enter Scan mode only if I Swipe Down.  This would allow me to access other apps and then return to a View experience.

Hi everyone,Here is my next challenge. The physical/mathematical problem behind it is to correct an artificially generated spectrum compatible accelerogramm for earthquake structural simulation. I need to smooth (fit) the data in order to remove the "drifting" that inherently exists when the data are integrated to obtain a velocity, but the initial velocity have to be zero.So I want to use the sophisticated smoothing capabilities of MathCAD, for example loess() or kgltt() but I also would like to be able to impose some condition, like y(0)=0. I see no way, so I decided to just fit an appropriate polynomial (without the constant term), and that works of course, but is not exactly what I wanted (loess, for example, makes many polynomials, so piecewise quadratic approximation).Attached you find a small "playground" for testing what I mean.Thanks a lot for any hints.Claudio

I have an experience I am building in Studio, and am calling on services on my Composer server to change properties of a thing (in short: click a button, execute a service for a thing, change a property value on that same thing). However, when I run the experience, the services that are supposed to execute are not executed. I know I have it set up correctly because I tried this method on another server and it works perfectly fine. Unfortunately, I can't have the experience tied to that server at all. I was thinking that the problem is because my experience doesn't have service execute permissions on my server, however I followed all of the instructions here to set up es-public-access since my server did not already have that user setup. After following all of those instructions, however, I still have had no luck getting those services to execute (this also may not even be the issue at all because I still have the same problem even when I require authentication to launch the service ins

Hi there,We recently changed from Creo2 to Creo4. I prefer a black background for working in drawing mode and sketcher, already know how to do that.
