i have a parameter, NB, integer for the number of clamping bolts.in the drawing i have a callout note on the top view that i want it to say 4x M16x30.the problem is that i cannot make it without a space between x and the param: &NB:9 x M16x30.if the param is a real number, i can do it like this and it works: &NB:9[.0]x M16x30 without the space.Is there any way of doing that for an int?i've tried the upper approach and it of course doesn't work. I've also tried to enclose it in curly brackets {&NB:9}x and it also doesn't work (it shows the brackets in the notes).

Hello there,First of all, i´m a mechanical engineering student and i´m not very experienced in programming (little bit node.js, learning python atm). I´m trying to connect a Raspberry Pi with Tinkerforge hardware to Thingworx.I wan´t to build a thing, containing actors and sensors, which streams the data collected from the sensors to Thingworx with the possibility to recieve events from Thingworx, stopping/changing the behavior of the actors.So far i got all the hardware set-up with Python code reading the sensor values (and printing them in the console). My biggest problem is, that i have no clue how to get the data to Thingworx. I already read the Raspberry Pi EMS Guide but i don´t get what the LuaScript is doing and how to configure everything/how to implement my Python script..This thread (e.g. the post from Shushant Pandey) looks like a promising/easy solution but it´s not using the EMS. You know, it's an "engraved text on a cylinder"FROM A WRAP That should be obvious since a simple "project" doesn't work properly on a cylinder.The knowledge base has led me to a ridiculously complicated routine involving projecting and selecting in an absurdly complicated process.I really should add that it doesn't work either.Is this really the best we can do at this point?

Has anyone found a way to silently install the Creo Services into a non-default folder using the creosvsc_64.exe file to install the services?Running "creosvsc_64.exe /install /silent /norestart" will install the software silently, but it installs in the default location (typically c:\program files\common files\PTC).If you run creosvsc_64.exe with the GUI, you can change the installation folder.  Additionally, if you specify a custom installation folder when installing Creo Parametric via the normal setup.exe file, the services get installed into the custom install folder.I've tried the typical command line options (like /v"ADDLOCAL=ALL INSTALLFOLDER=C:\myfolderpath"), but they are ignored.I am able to get the two .msi files that are used to install the creo agent and platform agent.  I can then either modify the .msi, create a transform, or whatever, but I'd prefer to not have to customize this part of the installation.We create our own installation for Creo Parametric that

First time posting...I have turned on the dual dimensions, inch as primary and metric as secondary...when set as ISO tol display and secondary units below, I am getting an overlap when dims aren't nominal. Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to figure out how to open a Creo file that is in Windchill straight into ISODraw. I have Work Group Manager installed and communicating with both Windchill and ISODraw, but when I select open in ISODraw and the Windchill button in the WGM no Creo files are displayed. If I navigate in the WGM to a folder on my computer Creo files are displayed and can be opened (imported).I've searched the help and knowledge base, but found nothing.Thanks in advanceDavid.

How can I bind the session variable to dropdown list? Is it only a one way binding?But in Text box, it works fine.

See attached Mathcad file and xls file containing data.I am trying to increase the number of time points in a field vs. time data file to then use in a subsequent calculation with the increased data points.  The time points are all less than 1.I cannot figure out how to access the interpolated data to use in a subsequent calculation involving range variables.Can the range variable to use as the indices be less than 1?  If not, how can this data be used in a time varying calculation?Thanks for any help.Reg Curry

As you can see it in the first picture, the A-A section of this view is the same size as the view. But actually it should be "higher" - as you can see it in the second picture - because of the type of the section. How can I make a section like the one in the second picture?

Dear All, it seems that when we set default prefix and number of digits to use for new requirement it is applied to the whole model. Is it possible to set them specifically for each package? For instance, I would set in the same model : ESE_01, ESE_02, .... for a package, RAC_01, RAC 02, ... for another package.   Thanks, Alessandro

After I create a network and complete the feature the network disappears.  It is still there but not displayed.  Is there some way to have it always be displayed?

  Dear all,       I would like to ask you about some possibility to reduce the name of parameter in 2D region on drawing.   In the Family table in a Part there is a Feature Parameter named “LENGTH”   I would like to show this on the drawing. So I will use the 2D Region. For showing the Name of parameter I will use “&fam.inst.param.name”. But in the cells is showing “LENGTH:FID_1354”.   Is there some possibility to show only “LENGTH” without “:FID_1354”?   For example:   For showing number of decimal places we use in “&fam.inst.param.value” sign “[.1]”.
