Hi,Curious if anyone out there is using Windchill for Digital Asset Management (DAM) and working with images, videos and audio files? If so, what methods, techniques or customizations have you implmented for it? I'm also curious how many customers would have an interest in DAM as a component of Windchill? I have been collecting requirements for multi-media artifacts in Windchill, but would like to get a better understanding of the customer need. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.11 We are modifying the "ConstraintDisplayNamesRB.java" OOTB file. I have created Thingworx Windchill Odataconnector thing from OdataConnector template. All basic settings like ValidateConnection, GetEndPointList works fine. I want to add a custom service (Local Service) to call my custom rest End point added to the WTPart domain getCustomPartList().I can add a new service as Route but I want to modify the data after calling the custom end point.I tried me.getCustomPartList() but not working as expected.

 Hey all! In Creo, we have a default Coordinate System as shown in the image that is viewed as Creo’s Standard Orientation (I believe is Trimetric). However, when I Windchill’s visualization viewer, it looks like it imposes a different coordinate system (Y and Z are switched) in Windchill. Does anyone know of any tricks to align these views?Currently all of our thumbnail views are being shown from the bottom on all parts which isn’t as helpful as it should be! I am aware of Fishbowl's MS Teams offering. I was not particularly interested in that type of customization. I was looking at more of user presence and communications. We've done some internal work at simple URL icons to invoke a Team's message to a user. This can be done via a Data Utility to add in a Teams icon and work similar to the email link.  From what I've read, to do anything more advanced, we would need to register an application in Azure, get an ID and use that to make calls via Microsoft Graph API. If I need to pull live information like online status info or a hover over popup, that would need some custom calls. What would be nice would be to have Windchill message users in Teams about events as an alternative to email communication. Its about time. I also see that PTC has the Windchill Office integration where you do the same thing, register it as an application. This means the foundational code is already there. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.14 When we create the Implementation Plan for our Change Notices, our Change Admins manually prepend the number of the CN to the Change Task Name field for the convenience of our users (when looking at their My Tasks tables). We would like to automate this process since it is time consuming for the admins. I have attempted to write code to do this automatically, but it seems that the API does not allow this after the object is persisted. I would like to understand why this is possible manually but does not appear to work programmatically. I see the Name field in the CA Master table but don't see an alternate "name" in the CA iteration table. When a document is checked out via Office / Desktop integration, is being edited and then checked back into Windchill+, the browser page needs to be update in order to see that the version increment of the document has changed and that the check in process has been successful.Goal: when checking in the document from Office / Desktop integration, browser will update automatically to the new version of the document.
