I am using Windchill Bulk Migrator Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.0.2 Hello Team, I have configured the WBM Extractor in Source system ( MED-61102-CD-131_13-1-3-0_WBM13.1-WC13.0-Extraction) for windchill 13.0.2.1 Bulk Migrator . While running the filter extraction for an specific container. getting the below exception which I will mention in Error messages window. FYI. tf$WTPART is getting some rows inserted. why the tf$WTPARTMASTER table is not getting insert any records. anyways, error to resolve is my primary focus, Please help me ASAP. Hello,i am trying to find a way to create a manufacturing view for a wtPart in a workflow.For example, when a promotion request is reviewed and the promotion object is Released, the manufacturing view should be automatically created. Until now this can be done manually via the menu: Actions → New → New view version. Is this possible?

Are you able to do ECN approval in Windchill Navigate or is it only Problem reports and ECRs?

I am using Windchill Part slink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.0.0 While promoting the top level assembly, the child parts are not getting promoted.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.16 We are currently looking for possiblities to use AD groups for License profiles, but when we add/remove users from AD, users are not able to access windchill though we can see windchill License profile udner user information. Only after participant cache clear, user is able to login to widchill, is this behaviour correct or we are misisng something. is purge participent cache necessary while using ad groups for license?

Hi all, I have the Part Configuration object. I have to load / bulk create 100’s of Part Instances with Serial Nos, by giving the serial nos and basic info in an excel sheet or .csv sheet.Is this possible? We are in Windchill 12.1.Alternatively, is it possible to create a new WRS domain for Part Instance and define some custom PUT/POST functions in it? Any experience on how this can be achieved.Best RegardsHari

Hi,My part lifecycle states include Development - Prototype - Released - WithdrawnOn revise from prototype or released the part will return to development state, and then a change notice is used to either transition Development → Prototype, Development → Released or Prototype→ ReleasedI have two types of change notice “Prototype Change Notice” and “Change Notice”, which have different workflows (different approval roles)I would like to limit the available release targets when a “Prototype Change Notice” is raised to only be the prototype state - “Preproduction” change transition (remove the Change transition from the list)This looks similar to the request here, but I cant see a solution - I have tried investigating the mapping rules, but I can only find how to limit target states based on the change object type, not on the change notice type it is withinThanks

Can someone help me out, what I am missing to delete my own workspace in windchill. 

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.14At one time, when using Chrome based browsers, it was possible for the user to resize the text boxes (text areas) in Windchill forms, such as Change Requests. There was a small icon in the lower right corner that could be grabbed to resize the visible text area. This does not seem to be possible anymore. Is this a bug in Windchill? A bug in Chrome? Or intentional design in the Windchill code/CSS? Is there a way to change the code/CSS to enable resizing? (We do know that it can be changed temporarily by using F12 DevTools and changing the box dimensions temporarily.

Hi all,I am creating a new Info Engine(IE) task. That IE task requires a string parameter as input and it calls another IE task inside. So in my new IE task, I perform a validation and when it succeeds I call another IE task. But if the validation fails, I need to throw an exception or communicate to the user about the error message. How can we do it? I am testing it using the PTC IE domain in WRS.

A promotion request approver sent a PR back for rework with a very long comment. After the comments had been incorporated and the rework was completed, when the approver attempted so sign off to approve the PR, he got an error “The value exceeds the upper limit of “4000” for “Instructions”.  My assumption was that this long comment (which has 4000+ characters) was the culprit, but I haven’t found a way to edit the comment.Has anyone seen this error? Is there a way to edit a comment in the Process Status section?
