Hello, dear community members!I want to design a mold cavity, but I am stuck on "Volume Split." I can't run this command, and after doing some research, I noticed that the problem is related to the "Parting Surface." I received the following error: The parting surface has 3 contour(s), make sure that each is necessary. Could you please help me solve it? Please check the attachments as well.

 I need to create a note with a symbol similar to a drop, in the notes menu there are only square, triangle, ellipse... I would like to know if there is a way to customize these shapes?

Hello, I am the Creo Librarian for my team and we had an issue recently that caused some folks Creo Schematics files to error during the syncing process.  They get the error "This file contains an item name that already exists in the design."  This had to do with a datatable issue and we have been able to correct most peoples files by going into that datatable and deleting the duplicate parts.  However, on some of the designs, the datatable in question is not appearing in the datatable explorer and I am not sure how to recover that datatable as the program is saying that it already exists within the design.  Is there a way to recover said datatable or am I looking in the wrong location to get it back into the datatable explorer. Thanks, Justin

I have an assembly cut that has stopped working no matter how much I fidget with it. I've tried redefining the planes in sketch set-up, reference planes, adjusting the dimensions, restarting Creo, ....   If I add a new cut, the cut works fine.       There are 50 instances in the family table, so if I can help it, I would like to not redo the cut.   Using 10.0.7.0 for a long time.

A tool to create and manage a custom font. I am thinking of the possibility of creating a sketch for each character of the font, so that it can be used to shape writings or logos, that update in real time by changing the font.

When you pattern a UDA the UDA does not update its references with the instance information in the pattern. I'm a CAD manager for a large department.  Over the years the department has purchased CAD/Engineering laptops in batches, so the hardware/firmware/etc. is all over the place.  I'm trying to find a way with either a Docker ore Kubernetes, or something that would be able to run the same on every machine, I'm thinking of some sort of virtual environment that takes all the variability out of it.  Additionally it would allow me to sandbox software upgrades, settings changes, config.pro setting changes and so on before deploying to a group,  I have 20 drafters.  We run Creo 9, Windchill 13, but we also run Solidworks 22, and ACAD 24 on occasion.  Is there any solution that fits this?  I looked at VM's with a type 2 hypervisor VBOX, but it requires installing another OS in it to install the CAD software burdening the system even more.  I think that would be to resource intensive and the juice wouldn't be worth the squeeze.  Any advice would b

In drawings, if the added model is not used on the drawing sheet, it will result in a constant association between the model and the drawing. It is easy to cause the relevant object page of plm system to appear when checked into the system. Redundant models need to be deleted and re-checked in. However, when there are many models, they can only be deleted one by one, which is very inconvenient. It is hoped that multiple batch deletions can be supported.Another suggestion is to add some obvious prompts to inform users of the existence of redundant models, so that users can detect them early.The command menu is located at:Drawing > Layout > Drawing Model > Delete Model

Not sure if this has been updated in the newer versions of MathCad, but is there any way to preserve internal hyperlinks when printing to PDF while also maintaining the formatting? I have a 70+ page report that has a lot of specific formatting that I worked hard on and would like to keep. When I save as a PDF directly, none of the links work but the formatting is perfect. When I safe as a Rich Text Document, the internal links work but the formatting is gone. Is there a way to keep both the formatting and the links? Currently using MathCad Prime 9.0.0.0

Hi,I just want a simple range in matchad but it seems really difficult All I want is a range from 5 to 45 in 0.1 steps. The typical definition doesn't work. Is there an easy way to do this? I tried the typical 5, 0.1 .. 45 but i get an error even though the mathcad support docs show that this should be allowed....

There seems to be an error regarding logical statements in Prime 10.0.1. See below.The expected output of all statements is 1. It seems to only be a problem when using units. Is there a fix to this? Thanks

In Creo:  Goal to create 3d representation of the following.  Imagine 30 golf balls (2” dia) on a rope 100 feet in length.  Balls need to be evenly spaced out starting from one end of the rope with a distance of 3 feet apart.  The rope with balls to be wrapped around a cylinder 2 feet in diameter.  The difficult part is to illustrate the tangent points where both the balls and rope make contact (interface) with the cylinder it’s being wrapped around.  Note the height and diameter of the cylinder can change to adjust the number of balls on the rope.  The target it to make both the rope and balls tangent to cylinder at touch points.
