is there a option/way/process to select all hole references in Creo elements/direct modeling in one go to fix fasteners ? The Creo elements/direct modeling version using is 20.5
While using Creo with Windchill I am trying to run a trail file automatically (just to open the active workspace) after starting up Creo using the following syntax (not both lines work separately): start "" "c:\my location1\parametric.exe" "c:\my location2\trail.txt" start "" "c:\my location1\parametric.exe" -i:rpc_input "c:\my location2\trail.txt" Even though both work, both have a strange side effect where I lose my registered servers and I have to re-register them. What is even more strange is that it not only doesn't modify the .srv_mgr_db3.fldx file, I cannot find a file on my computer (or the network location where my batch file and other config files are stored) that stores the new server info. When I restart Creo my trail file runs, and my workspace refreshes correctly, but it uses my new server registrations and not my old. If I go back to using: start "" "c:\my location1\parametric.exe" It starts using my original server registrations. When I use a
I am using Mathcad Prime Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0I am working on a design sheet and as part of the sheet I am including a design methodology write-up. I am using a numbered list and the write-up is too large to fit on one page. I split the write-up over 2 pages but the numbered list restarted at 1. on the second page of the list. Is it possible to set a number value for the numbered list on the second page that continues the list from the first page? Here are the errors that I facedNone

Hello everyone! In my company we have recently introduced Windchill and Creo 8 for our little mechanical office. We make machines based on Robotunits Modular Automation System, that means we use aluminum extruded profiles.Whats the best manner to manage this profiles? The minimum lenghth is 50mm and the max is 6m.We can use all measure between this min and max.I thought we can manage this with a family table where I let change only the length of the profile. But this means a table with 6000rows (one each mm).I don't thik it's the best practice. So I see on PTC support articles that it is raccomended (with the utilize of Windchill) a max numer of istances of 50.It's not so simple manage 6000 different length of profiles with 6000/50=120 family table..What can I do?
When creating a pattern in CREO 8, if the 2nd direction members were set to 1, the radial distance box would be greyed out and would not give any extra dimensions. In CREO 10, this box is always active and always gives you an extra dimension. Is there a way to prevent this new extra dimension?
Made this curve through points, it supposed to be a conveyor belt When i tried to make a simple sweep, drew a rectangle at the starting point, it swept it along the trajectory by rotating the rectangle, based on the curve's direction. So the rectanlge didn't remain normal , and I couldn't figure out which setting to use So the question, how can I make this sweep, so the rectangles sides stay normal to something, and doesnt rotate? Or is there an alternative way to do this? I just want a rectangle section along the curve Here's the file : files.fm/u/dpqvzrxw# Thanks!!
i made helical spring in creo 11.0 . i want to show compressed spring in creo modelling. how i can?
Match the Maximize Minimize Close buttons to Windows 10/11 style
Windows 11 will be released as early as next month. Has anyone done some testing of the existing versions of Mathcad (i.e. MC15, Prime 3-7) to identify issues under Win 11. Personally, I have a perpetual academic license for MC Prime 3.1, and as a retiree, I am loathe buy a subscription version. Furthermore, I have had to reinstall MC Prime 3.1 several times and it has never been an easy task. Unless I am reasonably certain that an upgrade to Win 11 will not be an issue for Mathcad Prime 3.1, I will simply stay with Win10. thoughts?Mike
Hi everyone, It has been almost a year since I started working with mathcad and I'm delighted to be part of PTC community. I enjoyed posting and discussing many of the challenges I faced while working on mathcad . I would like to thank you all for your help.Especially @Werner_E you almost helped me in all my questions and I learned valuable things from you. I can't thank you enough. Also @StuartBruff I really like your way of replying and the effort you put to convey the information. Wishing you all and your loved ones a year filled with happiness, health, and prosperity. Thanks Yusra
Hi guys,My name is Dragos and I am PhD Student. Can someone tell me if it is legal to use Creo 7.0 Student edition for freelancing stuff on Upwork for exemple? I know that it is not so fair for PTC guys and that's the reason why I asked that.If it is not legal, can you recomand me a version (a license) which is worth for freelancing? Thanks a lot!
Hi there!I'm trying to solve, in general, one equation that is important to me.The idea is to find through my Mathcad Prime 9.0.0 the extremum value of a parameter in symbolic representation. Here, I faced some "wall barrier" for solving due to the famous discouraging phrase as "The symbolic result returned is too large to display"... What was previously done:1. The simplification of each step of the calculation formula was performed, but the final point was to calculate the Zee matrix... Mathcad didn't want to represent the particular calculus step, and I was deeply stuck, with no idea how to solve my issue. My objective in this step is to solve the derivative equation when I set the k1 value (Internal area heat capacity) equal to zero by only two variables (width of the layers d1 and d2, respectively) to find by such derivative equation to obtain a maximum of k1 value in the general case depending on two variables (width of the first layer d1 and d2 res
I am exploring solving equations.Took a utube video. My workng file attached here to.I would like to get around this issue,Pl. help.
Whenever I select assemble CREO always defaults to desktop but I want to always default to in Session , is there a config option that can be changed to default to parts in session instead of desktop. If NO I would like to default to working directory.
This feels like the right time to publish some of the work I've been doing, on and off, over the past year.Prime Express is the free for life edition of Prime. And because it's free, it's crippled with respect to the full edition that is itself more or less crippled with respect to Mathcad. Numerous functions in Prime are declared 'Premium' functions, and they will not work in the Express edition of Prime. Among those are some very sophisticated functions like rkfixed (numeric approximation of differential equation) and polyroots (find roots of a polynomial), dft and idft (forward and reverse discrete Fourier transform), but also ordinary functions like Re and Im (real and imaginary part of a complex value), mean and stdev (of an array or matrix). Mean and stdev... Premium functions - Seriously? It's a joke! In the attached Prime 4 file, all of the functions named above, as well as many others, are implemented. This includes all of the Bessel functions, and probability distribution fun
Hi,I am doing something wrong in Mathcad? Or maybe the reference plot is wrong? Prime 10
Hej Guys, i am new to Mathcad and not very familar with it i have a worksheet with some functions and no i wanted to use the solveblock to find some solutions for me but i have no idea how i should write it down.i added the worksheet with the functions. i have a function with two Variables that where i want to find those two variables when i only know one result of the two out put results that the funcions brings me.the constraints i have and the expted result i put to the worksheet. maybe someone can give me some advise on how the solveblock need to be set up for a function with two variables? Kind RegardsMarkus
Hello I have a written two programs which are very similar. However, when I am running the second program, I get an error message saying "these values cannot be compared". Unfortunately, I can't figure out what is wrong with the script. How can I solve this error? Thank you for your support!
Hello! I am having an issue with Mathcad solve block. This is for an Electrical Engineering class, and I am trying to solve a system of 6 equations to find 6 unknown values. I have re-formatted my equations and the solve block many times and cannot tell what I am doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have a long equation that I would like to break in explicitly, ALL; however, I don't know if that is possible. Any suggestions? I am currently using Mathcad Prime 8.0I appreciate any help you can provide.
Me and my mate are doing a school project and the file he saved doesn't open anymore on either of our Laptops. Can anyone help please?
Hi everyone, previously I asked how to plot many arrays in one plot and I got my answer. Now I'm trying to plot the results that came out from those arrays .. however it shows some errors ... my previous question was in this thread >Solved: Re: Defining the layers - PTC Community Now, I'm trying to use the same steps but it show this error What I'm trying to do is to plot the results of Rb each array separately.. so I have 15 trace drawn Rb is the horizontal axis and ztips is the vertical Thanks in advance
