I need to report location of a balloon note referenced from the Location Grid in Creo drawings. it worked for me when reported a view location like this &pos_loc:view:<view_name> when using the same for a balloon note &pos_loc:draft:<balloon_note>, it doesn't work. Any ideas?  

I want to use two variable version for a surface plot for a single variable data fit by setting the another variable to zero how to achieve this? Can someone share an sample example 

Hi, I'm on Creo Parametric 5 and aware that starting from Creo 7, ExecuteFeatureOps() does not work anymore.  It shows a feature count of 2 in CpfcFeatureOperations but the following fails:solid1.ExecuteFeatureOps(suppressOp, regen.Create(False, False, Nothing)) I think the instrs object in the second argument is the culprit.What could possibly be wrong in this argument? Any help is highly appreciated.

Is there a scheme to the arrow colors while sketching? I am making a simple extrude and noticed that 6 arrows are red and 1 is yellow. Is there any significance to this?   Thanks, Dale Creo 9.0.4.0

MBD created with flat to screen -notes. After converting into PVZ file, when i am opening the file in Crew view express, texts not visible it is fixed unable to zoom. it is possible to zoom the text if i am created the text flat to screen    

I want to create a quilt and then wrap a sketch around said quilt. To do this, I create a circle with diameter 360/pi and then extrude the sketch to 250. I create a sketch of a rectangle with height matching the extrusion and width 72. If I set the width to be 80 the wrap is successful but if I put the width to be 72 it fails. I have no idea why and would appreciate all help. I am using Creo parametric 9.0 Student version.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.5.0I have a user who is being exited out of the system when working on creating annotations to a 2D print. Specifically trying to add annotations such as notes. Issue started today and has happened on multiple parts.

Hello,  I am using Mathcad Prime 7, paid version and i want to copy and paste text and math into Word. I have tried simply selecting the items and copying them, however they don't look good, some text falls off as the text boxes seem to shrink both lengthwise and heightwise as shown here in the screenshot. As i have loads of pages to import, i don't want to check and enlarge each textbox individually. I would like to know how to fix this without having to result to making screenshots, exporting to PDF etc etc..  Thank you!    

I get an error message saying my variable "t" must be a scalar or a matrix.  I believe i loaded it as a scalar.  What did I do wrong?I am using Mathcad Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0.Jack Smith 

Hi all, I am aware that this topic has been covered many times before, but I am a bit puzzled on how to achieve an iterated solve block in Mathcad Prime 4.0. I cannot attach my worksheet, unfortunately, but I will attach an image to illustrate what I am trying to do below.   I have one equation in terms of x, and one in terms of i. I want to find all the (x,i) points where the values of these functions are equal. The way I thought to do it was to somehow nest a solve block in a for loop.  I've seen previous posts that use the "Find" function, but I guess in prime, I can only use the "find" function inside a solve block.  The problem is that I'm looking for pretty good resolution in my data points. This is why in the attached image, i is a range variable going from 0 - 1200 mA. My end goal is to get a matrix of x values that correspond to those i values. I truly appreciate the help, and I hope I'm not beating a dead horse too much! Thank

Hello,  We are trying to standardize the usage of Creo Illustrate across our company, and one thing that has been continually requested is a standard format or template that populates with some key information relative to the native CAD files we pull in from Windchill (P/N, Name, Industry Standard callouts, etc). I understand you can create an XML template for Creo Illustrate when exporting to a 3D PDF through the "Save Figure As" > "Save as 3D File", but a lot of content is dropped when using this method due to limitations in Adobe. Can an XML template be applied within Creo Illustrate for end users who plan to use Creo View as the main viewing software? If yes - does a tutorial exist somewhere on how to do this?

Dear community, is it possible to export from Creo Illustrate to the format JT?I've seen there is an add-on for Parametric that adds the JT export format. Can it be done also with Illustrate? Or is it something that can be implemented worker side in windchill?We have the necessity to export in this format and we would like to explore the possibilities, if any... If I export in IGES or STEP, is there a recipe file to be edited in order to define export preferences? Thanks in advance
