How do I make it so that file I saved as copy of assembly doesn't change when I make changes in original assembly?   

We have MathCad Subscription and Mathcad prime SDK.Our licensing changed to a floating license but I have no idea how to configure this on FlexNet.the FAQ's are all so confusing if someone could point me to the appropriate one I would be so grateful.

Hello, I am just doing simple part modelling and assembly in Parametric 7.0.8.0. (Student Edition). Up until just recently, the software worked exceptionally well on my PC, with the exception of rendering which causes my PC to overheat. I have an i7-12700 CPU, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, an MSI Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB GDDR6 (I realize is not compatible with CREO for rendering), and a 750W PSU. It is more than enough to run Now, I can't even touch an edge of the assembly that I am working with without CREO freezing up and on task manager, using VERY HIGH power. I recently had used my same SSD in a laptop, but returned it back to my PC with no issues. Not too sure what is causing this error. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,Dallas    

 Hi community, I'm trying to create a program that automatically generate sketch curve features from local text files, referring this article.https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs279605 Apart from the article, I changed a definition of line from Pro2dSplinedef into Pro2dLinedef because I would like to depict skech with straight lines.Now the program can generate a sketch on a datum plane, but it does not treated as "closed section".Could anybody show me what should I do with my code? Should I add any element to the sketch feature? Thanks!

Hi All, Did anyone noticed this issue of Creo parametric hangs on launch and error shows in Task manager as "Not responding". Any suggestions?

I habe a long BOM table so I've paginated it into 2 table each one in a separate sheet, and once I choose to create a balloon, it shows balloons for all components even the ones in the other sheet. Is there any way to create only balloons for the components only showed? 

On some computers with Windows 10 using Creo 2 M150, clicking to select something gives the smart filter error about holding the ALT key, but this happens even when it should not.  Clicking a few more times will end up performing the selection.  Has anyone else had any experience with this on Windows 10 or otherwise?We've already tried:Mousewheel workaroundgraphics win32_gdiThanks!

I need to report location of a balloon note referenced from the Location Grid in Creo drawings. it worked for me when reported a view location like this &pos_loc:view:<view_name> when using the same for a balloon note &pos_loc:draft:<balloon_note>, it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm on Creo Parametric 5 and aware that starting from Creo 7, ExecuteFeatureOps() does not work anymore.  It shows a feature count of 2 in CpfcFeatureOperations but the following fails:solid1.ExecuteFeatureOps(suppressOp, regen.Create(False, False, Nothing)) I think the instrs object in the second argument is the culprit.What could possibly be wrong in this argument? Any help is highly appreciated.

Is there a scheme to the arrow colors while sketching? I am making a simple extrude and noticed that 6 arrows are red and 1 is yellow. Is there any significance to this?   Thanks, Dale Creo 9.0.4.0

MBD created with flat to screen -notes. After converting into PVZ file, when i am opening the file in Crew view express, texts not visible it is fixed unable to zoom. it is possible to zoom the text if i am created the text flat to screen    

I want to create a quilt and then wrap a sketch around said quilt. To do this, I create a circle with diameter 360/pi and then extrude the sketch to 250. I create a sketch of a rectangle with height matching the extrusion and width 72. If I set the width to be 80 the wrap is successful but if I put the width to be 72 it fails. I have no idea why and would appreciate all help. I am using Creo parametric 9.0 Student version.
