How to create multiple harnesses under same assembly in order to have family table instances ? or how to copy harness without having bend radius violation ?

i have an older version of Mathcad (Mathcad 14). I have been using it for years. Prior to upgrading to Mathcad 14, I think I was using version 8. My old computer stopped working. Now I have a newer/replacement computer and I am trying to install my copy of Mathcad 14.0. I started the install process on my new computer. And it is asking for the version 8 product code. I looked but, I cannot find my version 8 disk or product code. Are you able to help me install my Mathcad version 14 on my new computer?I look forward to your response.Sincerely,YPM

I am looking to add custom symbols to the text editor symbols in Creo drawings.  My drawing properties symbol_font configuration is set to asme.  I know how to draw and add them to the stroked_symbol_asm.src and compile the files, but I need the location of the little thumbnail images you see in the creo ribbon (Picture attached).  I've searched through the common files to no avail.  They are probably *.pngs, but I cannot find them.  If I were to set the symbol_font configuration to "legacy", those thumbnail images are set in loadpoint/text/resource folder.  But I want it set to asme, and again, cannot find those thumbail images ANYWHERE.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Is it possible to import a model from inventor into Creo and keep an associative link?Or has PTC made it impossible without the collaboration extension?

Hello community, is there any opportunity to perform a search in Windchill to see, how many CAD-objects are using multi-body?We don´t use multi-material yet, but multi-body design is available to our end users. Hello to everybody,after the last automatic Windows 11 update, when I try to make a 3D plot, the following error message appears (in Italian) "Eccezione generata dalla destinazione della chiamata", which in English, more or less, corresponds to "Exception generated by call destination".Probably, the Windows update has modified some files used by Mathcad 15 for creating 3D plots.Please, can someone help me to recover that Mathcad 15 feature?Thank you very much,Sarah   

Hello Community! I need to create a company logo, with given dimensions and put it onto a *.frm-file, which is then the base for our drawing template(s).The provided dxf-file from the designers is too big: After I filled it and put it into a symbol. (around 50kb in the frm and over 100kb in the pdf.)I'm trying to be clever now:The logo only consists of letters and is shaped like a fully-filled worm with constant thickness and, the problematic part, round ends. Question: Is there a line-style that has round ends? How is that called and how can I include it? I'd also be thankful for just a link.In that case, I could just write the letters with a line and adjust the line-thickness according to the overall logo-size. If that is not existing, I have another, obvious solution: line size half the logo-letter-size and draw closed, half-thickness worms. Bonus Question: I need to include the registered trademark-symbol. How can I find my serial number on PTC Creo 7.0 ( I am using a client computer not a server computer)?

Occasionally, I'll insert a Visio object into MathCAD Prime (I'm using version 8) using copy/past (ctrl-c & ctrl-v).  This works and it's pretty much fine for most things - but I did notice the images look a tad fuzzy.    Is there anyway to improve upon this? It seems that copy/past from Visio to MathCAD Prime inserts an image into Prime - that is, the copied object is converted to an image upon pasting into Prime.  Is that correct?  If so, is there a way to increase the image resolution? I poked around attempting to insert an OLE object using Input/Output tab > Insert Object.  Maybe I don't know the best way to insert an OLE object - as my initial attempts were very sub-optimal - and difficult to work with compared to the simple action of copying and pasting objects. Any ideas? 

Hi Everyone,  I need help trying to figure out what the buw folder file is:  It seems like it contains two folders named AFX and IFX. I am assuming it is some type of cache or templates maybe? Currently, this folder is sitting in my documents where I have important documents that I use on a daily basis, and having this folder sitting there maybe seems like a bad idea. Is there any way I change the default location of that folder? If so, do you know how I can do that?  thank you so much in advance!    

In earlier versions of Mathcad Prime, I could write the following expression:Simply put, I could define a variable symbolically and display the answer.  With the changes to the symbolic engine on Primate, this can no longer be done:This feature was great because I often used Mathcad during Engineering lectures to work examples problems.  My work around is:The first properly should use the symbolic equal to "=" and not the mathematical definition ":=" but it still works.  Anyone have any better suggestions or work arounds? Bob 

Hi, My issue was I have a .pvz file which has no colour and I wanted to apply colour to it. It's a big assembly file and I try to export it to .step file and try to apply the appearance to it but the creo is crashing while opening that assembly file. So i need help that how can I apply colours to .pvz file in creo illustrate 

Drawings for some parts can not be found in Creo Parametric despite they are with status “released” in Windchill.

Hi all,We currently have a PC in desperate need of upgrading to Windows 10.I have two drives inside, one boots Windows 7 (HDD) with a working, licensed Creo installation, the other is on Windows 10 (SSD) - this currently has Creo 4.0 'Parametric Simulate Direct Layout' (as it says on the back of the DVD box) , but I cannot get the license to work despite requesting a new one from the license portal on the website.So, I'd just like to know if the procedure to transfer the license is any different? It has the same MAC address, but the computer has a different host name (edit - NOT a different domain name!). I'm quite new to the organisation and there's no documentation on how this was installed previously,. The guides I've watched don't really cover whether or not this will work.Any tips on the procedure for doing this with minimal downtime would be really appreciated. I did try calling but it was very difficult to navigate and couldn't find anyone to speak to.  .

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.6.0When using CREO Parametric I cannot drag the green line in the model tree anywhere. When I try I get a red circle with a line through it.

Hi folks. Question, is there any way to link and lock the parameter of a mirrored part.Right now it copies the parameters, but it doesn't update if I change the part where the mirrored part was mirrored from .As you can see in the image. All those parameters are from the original part and are being copied . But it let me edit it. I need those parameters to be locked and being updated if i change their original part. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi, I'm trying to create internal end caps on a framework assembly I generated using AFX. I'm used to being able to do this in SolidWorks (see documentation) but I can't find the equivalent in Creo - can someone please show me where I'm going wrong? Does this exist in a different menu?The closest I've found is the 'New Equipment Element', but this only generates external end caps and with a chamfer, not a radius. I'm expecting the tool to grab the radius from the RHS profile definition and able to be set internal/external dynamically.I've tried setting the 'T' parameter negative to achieve something similar but to no avail.Any help will be much appreciated, thank you!
