Can anybody throw some light on the problem below when using min? "System Error. Entry point was not found." I tried rearranging the definitions of pred and pushing min further down the functional chain, but to no avail. Indeed, using IsFunction caused Mathcad to bang out. max doesn't have this issue. Nor do any of my redefinitions of min. The problem occurs in both Mathcad Express 10 and Mathcad Express 11, even when only the definition of pred and the evaluation are present. pred has a counterpart function, succ, and that too shows the problem. Mathcad Express 10 worksheet attached and Exception log file attached. Stuart
Hi I need to subtract two different matrix . one has ( 7 rows, 2 column) and the other has (5 rows , 1 column) I know the other own is shorter so the result should be the same number in the bigger matrix. like it treat the missing numbers as zeros Is that possible ? Thank you The sheet is attached
I am trying to set up a CFD analysis where a fan is blowing air through a radiator. I don't know the exact geometry of either the fan or the radiator but I know the general size and I have charts to tell me how much pressure drop to expect on the radiator and pressure gain from the fan. Can anyone help to tell me how to set that up in Live Simulation? See the attached picture as a reference. I have tried to enter a positive pressure on the outlet side of the fan and then measuring (with a probe) the pressure on the surface of the radiator in front of it. Then I take that measured pressure value on the incoming side of the radiator and enter it as inlet pressure. Since in know the pressure drop from the chart, I enter a lesser value on the outlet side mimicking a pressure drop. Am I on the right track or is there a better way to set that up?Thanks!Creo 12
Was geht mit dem Creo Lizenz Server ab, kann mein Creo nicht mehr starten?
I'm putting a captive screw with compression spring in one of my assemblies. The coil spring doesn't have any 'cylindrical' features or surfaces. I made a central axis, but when I try to constrain the Spring Axis to the bolt cylinder surface, it places the axis coincident/tangent to the surface, not concentric. I always have the option to constrain Front & Right planes, but I would like to figure out how to get concentric mates with an axis.
i had to replace the motherboard in my system, and now Mathcad 14 claims the license is not valid and will not run. I used the original CPU, disk drives, RAM, and replaced the motherboard with the same model.
how am I able to find this information?
How do I change my email address. My current email will be void at the end of August and I find no way to change it on my profile or settings. Thanks
Hello all, since there is no direct way of creating negative volume of a part (at least as far as I know-being relative rookie) I wonder if there is any, still relatively quick, way of doing that in Creo 10. With that I have in mind Ansys Space Claim 3D modeller where it is possible to close the model with planes and create volume inside of complex geometry and these defined planes. I would want a volume of water that fills inside of a turbine rotor. Thank you for your comments, suggestions...Best regards!
I referred to some answers.manually created 3D annotation place flat to screen using Creo's note function;CS153536 - Leader line is not showing for flat to screen annotation feature in Creo ParametricNew to Creo need help with text - PTC Communitythe annotation is placed flush with the screen in the model viewer and its position rotates around the model. How can I achieve the same effect generically via the Toolkit API?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.0.0在一个零件中,如何将一条曲线的局部线段进行复制,并使生成一个复制曲线的端点与两个坐标点重合
According to the PTC documentation, this is supported. I am not able to get this to work in Creo 7, 9 , or 10. Is anyone able to confirm that loading a light file works for them? It is possible my light files are corrupted in some way, if someone has a sample light file they can post here, I will try it. I have included one of my .lgh files for reference.
Hello eveyone, I am currently using the Creo Parametric Educational version 12.4.0.0, more specifically the "Generative Design" tool but without the Generative Design Extension (GDX). What element type or meshing is used by the software/tool? The answer would help me to compare my optimized model design with results from an external FEM software.
I need to add a summary at thr bottom of my calculation to shoe results as shown below.I am not able to do.I request shed me with some lights to get around this.
I am working on a sample to develop my calculations.I used both If .. Then and While. But, I can get the results: J is not adding up. Looks like J keeps remaining at 1. I request help.
Hello, I try to output my fixture offsets with a fil macro given by KenFarley on an other topic but when i try : CIMFIL/ON,SET,OFSETLOFSTYP=POSTF(6,5)OFSREG=POSTF(7,5)IF(OFSTYP.EQ.1)THENIF(OFSREG.GE.54.AND.OFSREG.LE.59)THEN$$CURREG=OFSREGOFSCMD = TEXT/'G90 G',CONVI,OFSREG,2,';'INSERT/ OFSCMDENDIFENDIFCIMFIL/OFF On my machine file i have : ...N0054 ( / SEQUENCE TYPE : PROFILE MILLING);N0056G90G55;N0058 G0 Y5.232;... No spaces before G90 and between G90 and G55.What is the command for output spaces ? Thanks in advance.
It mentioned problems with the server after putting in my product code so i tried again and it told me that i had used up all of my uses and now i dont know what to do. It said something about either the server being busy or something else
We are currently running Creo 12.4.1.0 and we are seeing some odd behavior that I am trying to resolve. When performing certain (seeming unrelated) actions like opening the File-options window or adding a new view in a drawing there is a 10-15 second delay where Creo freezes before performing the requested task. The issue is consistent in that it occurs on the same handful of tasks but oddly not every time we perform them. We saw this same behavior in Creo 4.0 before our upgrade which leads me to believe it is caused by an external factor. My current theory is that our antivirus software (Checkpoint) is checking or scanning some Creo related file or service causing the delay. Has anyone else seen this type of behavior and if so how did you resolve it? If it is the antivirus software, is there a recommended file or service whitelist?
What is the best way to route cabling? P clips assembly first and then route thru them or any other ideas? Please suggest. See image
I'm using MathCAD 9.0.0.0. I get this error on my last equation...I don't know what's off because all of these variables worked fine together up until this point. Initially the box was only around the first CDH until I added "explicit,ALL" so that might be something to look at. Thanks, Brent
Hello to all,as a leader of a 3d-printer at school (class 5-13) I use Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 8.0 (Deutsch).Since a week I cant download a key from websidehttps://www.ptc.com/appserver/securePeModeling/peManualLic.jsp?lang=de&u=Holger&m=DESKTOP-SEPHVKI&w=6.2&v=40.00Any ideas what is frong? Hello,I need to define a large number of variables, as listed in the attached Excel file. The file includes the variable names, units, and values.Currently, I’m defining each variable and its unit manually, which takes a lot of time.Is there a way to make this process faster—perhaps by using loop processing in a program or some other method? attached file is made by Mathcad10
Hi, I need to split a ncl file by machining duration to calibrate the tool before resuming the path. Thanks,Federico
Hello All, We have a Haas VF-2 with a Haas HRT210 rotary. I'm machining a block on 4 sides (AO, A90, A180, A270). Working off centerline of the rotary. The problem is that the posed gcode creates A0 and A180 in the correct orientation but A90 and A270 are flipped. In the attached picture specifically (WCS.jpg) depicts how I have the coordinates set up A0 being the top of the part (the face with the cbores). A270 being the flat face in picture WCS_A270.jpg. Has anyone ran into this problem? Can this be fixed in the post processor application within creo? Thanks,Jostan
Hello. We got a Tormach 1100mx at our work and we use CREO 7.0 for our CAD/CAM. Unfortunately, I could not find a post processor for the Pathpilot on PTC's website. I am wondering if there is a post processor somewhere out there, or do I have to make my own Post processor. Thanks!
