Hello, I would like to hear some opinion on Creo Unite and experiences if someone have.I used Open and Import possibilities in Creo to open SolidWorks assembly files and assemble it in top level assembly. So when using open it stay in native (SW) form and in behind Creo make wrapper files which we can see on local folders (*SLDASM.creo, *SLDPRT.creo) but not on windchill. When using import it creates links to original SolidWorks files and save it in native Creo files with .asm and .prt formats. So what are better features in case of updating that SW files when someone send it to us, to use Open or Import. As i could see so far both have capabilities of updating when you overwrite newly SW assemblies in a local folder or checking in new version in Windchill. We even tested Open and Import with inseparable assemblies , so we received SW files with virtual components (inseparable or embedded in Creo), and Creo understood that well. So considering performance , that imported component
I am using Mathcad Release N/A and DatecodeN/AHi Team,One of the user is not able to login to MathCAD App on their laptop but can login to it on Web portal.Could you please help on this one? Thanks,Abhishek MHere are the errors that I facedError -The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'.
Hello, I receive the errror message listed in subject line when trying to post an NC file. I have set the "ncpost_type" setting in the configuration editor previously. I am using Creo 9. Any help is appreciated.
Hi all, I have an issue with plotting a function on Mathcad Prime 11. For some reason there are missing segments in the plots of my shear-force diagrams. I'm not sure why this is happening, other plots I have made seem to work fine - any guidance would be much appreciated. The plots and respective functions are on pages 9 and 17 of the attached document. Thanks in advance
Is there away to make a representation that puts all sub models in a assembly to a defined user defined representation? So lets say that company standard defines that each part model has following custom representations: * Medium_Rep* Low_Rep So one way would be to have a representation in assembly level that is also called Medium_Rep and Low_Rep that would automatically set every part to their .respective representation. We can off course do this manually one by one, but is there a way to automate setting of user representation in bulk? Or even entirely automatically?
Can someone help me on this?
Hello,Why isn't it possible to determine the angle using the table pattern? If possible, how can I make it work? The 40° in the picture.
I am having a significant level of loading failures in 2025 with "Incorrect file format, file should be from PTC Mathcad Prime" and "File contains corrupted data" errors as the causes:. 23 cases are appended. What is most concerning is that projects that have been used to launch improved models a few days earlier as well as intentional project copies, both cannot be opened then or a few months later. Is anyone else seeing an increase? The "incorrect file format" is a new error for me. It looks like it may be necessary to store PDF copies of projects, as some of these programs are 50-100 pages in length and will take days to weeks to reconstitute. Two .mcdx programs I tried to upload were rejected as having as having an incorrect file extension.. Is there something wrong with the title "250525, Tac7C+Weatherstation, corrected firmware, threaded slab heater, slope analysis.mcdx" ?
Whichever file I import into Creo (I tried two separate vendors with Inventor, random Grabcad models, and even exporting simple block from Creo and then reimporting it back) - it only imports as a surface. The geometry is fine (no errors) and I can easily solidify it, but I don't seem to be able to find a way how to do this automatically. I am importing large assemblies made by subcontractors with hundreds of parts, so turning each part into solid isn't an option. I have all geometry "enhancements" disabled, and all the other settings seemingly correct: Regardless, the Import feature always defaults to "Add Surfaces".Most often I am able to just change it to "Add bodies", or Solidify the geometry outside the "Import" feature - so there are no issues with the geometry I assume: I looked but I couldn't find a config.pro setting to force Creo to default to "Add bodies" instead of "Add Surfaces" (or other means to solidify the geometry). Is there any
I am working on a project to create a UDF library for screw threads in Creo 10.0.4.0 The goal is to have the user enter the nominal OD and TPI for UN threads and get the appropriate geometry driven by relations based off ISO 228 My problem is that it is unclear how to implement these. When I follow the instructions here after selecting features ( To Define Variable Parameters in a UDF ) the dialogue box suggested on step 3 just doesn't open, and the dialogue box stays at 'All elements have been defined. Select element(s) or action(s) from the dialogue box'. Features that are relation-driven (like the OD of the cylinder that constitutes the screw, or the pitch values used for the helical sweep ) are not eligible as variable elements or dimensions either (google results suggested you sometimes need to set the features/dimensions that are parameterized as variable before you use the variable parameters option, but this hasn't worked for me) My next idea is to just
Is there a limit to the length of the mapkey that I can run in the BaseSession.RunMacro(String mapkey) command in JLink toolkit? I have code that dynamically generates a mapkey to extend its functionality. I group all the mapkey parts that it generates together in one long String. Then I run that macro right before returning control to Creo. I decided to do it this way, to make the mapkey run sequentially.Depending on the number of parts in the assembly, this mapkey becomes long. Very long. Creo hangs when control is returned to it. I can only force quit Creo at that point. The debugger runs until the end of the code and then returns control to Creo, and it starts to hang. On shorter mapkeys, it is not a problem. Control returns to Creo. The mapkey gets executed. The code functions. The problematic mapkey is 4000 lines and 200 000 characters long. Is it known what the limit is? Either a formal limit or a practical limit? Then I could decide when to develop or use a workaround
Hi, I am currently converting legacy drawings drawn using AutoCAD into 3D models and draft 2D from the 3D models. I would like to draft these 2D in such a way that is applicable for all the regions. For example, we would like to show the annotations in Japanese if it's been accessed from Japan, or in English with metric units if it is accessed from India or in English with imperial units if it's been accessed from US. As all the three formats use a common ".PRT"/".ASM" file, is there any recommended way to meet my requirement without the need for creating multiple ".DRW" files? Thanks in advance. I am looking to take a class that will walk me through creating a sketch from scratch and add features/cutouts/extrude etc Which class/classes do you recommend?

It would be helpful if there was a way to call a special check profile in the condition.mcc whenever the model contains one or more parameters that begin with "USR_". This would, for example, prevent extra parameters from being deleted in ModelCHECK whenever a parameter that begins with USR_ is present. Or is there another way to delete all parameters in a model except those beginning with "USR_" or "CONF_"? This would, for example, help bring old data up to date. Here two examples:IF (CONF_*) config=(check/mat.mch)(check/kon.mch)(start/mat_mm.mcs)(start/kon_mm.mcs)(constant/mm.mcn)(status/status.mcq) (name/Configurator_File)IF (USR_*) config=(check/mat.mch)(check/usr.mch)(start/mat_mm.mcs)(start/usr_mm.mcs)(constant/mm.mcn)(status/status.mcq) (name/Userparameter_File)
Hello, We encountered the following message (shown in the first picture) multiple times when saving a Mathcad file that contains an object from AutoCAD LT 2024 (inserted using the "Insert Option"). After saving and reopening the Mathcad file, the AutoCAD object is deleted, as shown in the second picture. We found this issue on all machines running Windows 10 & 11. Kindly advise on how to resolve this matter.I am using Mathcad Prime Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.0.0
Hi everyone, I recently downloaded Creo 11 on a machine with Creo 7 in order to test something. After deciding to test on my virtual machine, I uninstalled Creo 11. I now get this error in Creo 7: When checking the logs, the error reads: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION has occurred in the thread 3772. I've tried clearing cache and reinstalling. Any ideas?

I attached abbreviated work sheets. Question regards echo sheet. How do I pass secondary ohms to the matrix? I can't seem to define the values as ohm(sec) in the matrix. Secondary ohms are (ohms value) multiplied by (CTRW/PTRY). I have a hunch that I don't have units set correctly in the definitions area. I made an attempt at showing values using the table function. That was a train wreck except I can set units as secondary ohms.
Is there a way to imbed the str2num function into a lookup? Is there a means to automate renaming or concatenation of the variables in the first column of the text file? What is the type of variable is ["600"] ? I guess it's not a string variable?
I'm using Creo 9.0.9.0 When I open the Creo Parameteric Options window, via the command File -> Options -> Options the window the dialog window that pops up is so wide that the options are not on the screen. They are shoved off-screen to the left. I can't resize the window with the usual Windows arrow keys, mouse clicks, etc. It will let me make the window wider, but does not allow any decrease of window width. Is there a way to access the window settings for this dialog to correct this situation? I tried looking for any sort of settings in the Windows registry, but nothing seems to be stored there.
Hello everyone!I have a spare PC to use in case my current PC crashes. Is it possible to install Prime on both PCs using the same license? (Sorry for my ignorance!)Thank you for your reply.Regards.
I've now gone from Prime 10 Express to Prime 11 Express, This allows me to see worksheets that have been created in Prime 11. However, does anybody know if there are any technical or other capabilities in Prime 11 Express that are not available in Prime 10 Express? I can't find any. Alan
