Mathcad

Hi experts, Can Mathcad help us arrange the equation from what I give?for example,the yellow parts are I know, I want to use these conditions to solve and get the green part, I know how to calculate by hand, but I would like to know if I can use Mathcad to do the same thing.if it could, could you tell me what to do, thanks?  

After migrating from MathCad 15.0 to MathCad Prime 8.0, I have a matrix in one sheet formatting exactly as I want it like this:However, in a very similar sheet, also migrated to Prime 8.0, the format has changed to this:The matrix will not display if I attempt to move the "ft" unit outside the matrix.  It is not a big deal for something small like this, but for a larger matrix, as below, it becomes cumbersome to get it to print.The matrix here is built the same way as the first image using the "stack" and "augment" functions, and the error message that pops if I attempt to format like the first image is "This value must be a scaler or a matrix." What can I do to format a matrix to get rid of the units for each individual value, and apply it to the overall matrix as I have in the very first image, just like MathCad 15.0 used to do? 

Dear Experts,I would like to ask for some problems of my performing Mathcad Prime of creating Circle Column Under Combined Axial Load-(Pu,Mu). I can not plot the Interaction Moment diagram, I already tried to find the mistakes which could be made in the equation, but I still can not solve it by my own.Since I am the beginner of using Mathcad Prime I really need help from all the professional users.I would be really appreciated for your help.PS: you can find the attached file below.Thank you!

How do I export XYZ data from CreateMesh? I am exporting data from a Mathcad Prime 3D surface plot to a graphics program which will allow me to color code the surface based upon the Z values.

I have to identical equations using a square root (flow calculation).  If I use the "psf" units for lbm/ft^2, the radical doesn't evaluate the squared units correctly.  But if I force the units to be lbm/ft^2 under the radical, then the expression evaluates correctly to lb/s; mass flow.   I don't understand why this doesn't evaluate correctly.  Is there a way to make this more robust? See attached.

Hi guys,  I just installed MathCad 8.0 and tried to give an value to F. Every time i tried to do it i am facing an error that i will put the video and photo of this below. I tried to figure out what is wrong with program and  I have repeatedly repaired .net framework, activated old .net framework versions from program properties, installed updates and nothing changed. When that didn't happen, I formatted the computer and reinstalled all the drivers from scratch, still nothing changed. Hello everyone,I am a complete beginner in MathCAD and would really appreciate if somebody would help me define this with the values I provided. I tried to define the function but it just wouldn't work and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.     

I have seen compound IF statements that evaluate numerical values.  e.g.  if (a=1,2,3) How can I construct a compound IF statement where the variable being evaluated is text?  I want the IF loop to run if the text value Fault is A or B. e.g.  if (Fault="A", "B")  thanks,relayman p.s. Prime 8

As per the original post.    Hi VladimirN,   I am currently using Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0 with a trial license. I am having an issue with the Excel component and am receiving the error mentioned in the article. However, I do not have permission to access the file as I am on a trial license. Would you be able to recommend any possible solutions? I am using Office 365 and have updated to the most recent version. I have also tried restarting my computer and have tried the Excel component on multiple worksheets with the same error.   Thanks!

I am trying to do some basic calculations. i was not able to create the custom unit for the thermal resistance, which is used for calculations in estimating the junction temperature in MOSFET.Theri is some unit conversion problems if I add 1 deg C to 5 deg C the result not 6 deg C instead 279.15 deg C. Hello   There seems to be a calculation error in my fred (marked with red box).   When I do hand calculation / Excel-calculation the value is ca. 1.68. It is correct that the units drop out of the function as I hand calculated.   Could someone figure out the problem?   *here are again the inputs  rho = 1.2 [kg/m3]  ze = 7.64 [m]  zg = 380 [m]  alpha.r = 0.19 [-]  qp.0 = 0.9 [kN/m2] or ca. 91.74 [kgm/s2/m2]  f0 = 1.64 [Hz] or 1.64 [1/s]   Best regards,   Samuli Turunen

Is it possible to set Page Size larger than 11" x 17"?  My goal is to move the dashed page lines off the screen.  If I have a plotter that prints ARCH E (36" x 48") I should be able to tell Mathcad.  thanks,russ

Hi everyone, As a chemical engineering student, I am trying to solve a pipeloop problem.  I stated all the necessary balances (see below):And the other necessary formulas:which I want to solve for Fh(v),Fo(v) and Fc(v) from v=0 until v=VL. now I've set up this solve block:  which in theory seems solvable, as there are 5 unknowns and 5 equations. Is this the correct way to solve this problem? With kind regards, Tim                    

I'm looking to see if my company has an available license for mathcad and if not possibly acquire one. Our PTC account gives me access denied when trying to manage licenses and I'm unable to upgrade the account as I don't have the information necessary.

Hi, Mathcad v3.1, v4.0, v6.0, v8.0, v15.0 run with OpenJDKAre these versions able to run with OpenJDK instead of Oracle Java?   I am hoping that one is able to install the OpenJDK and then install the MathCad.  Please let me know if this has been tested and works.I am not able to find any information on this site.Thank you.

MathCad 14 factored the function sinx(x). It is known from other investigations that this function has only real zeros. If you now look for the zeros of each factor (the terms are in parentheses), then MathCad calculates complex zeros that cannot be simplified. Where is the saw stuck here 😉 .Kind regards, Alfred Flasshaar
