How can I update my MathCad 14 license since I installed a new internal hard drive in my desktop computer?I changed the internal hard drive in my desktop PC.  The new hard drive has a new MAC address so my Mathcad 14 will no longer open and run on the machine.How can I get an  updated license to solve this problem? 

Hi there It has been days since I started working in this task , but couldn't reach the right result I need to draw this graph in mathcad I have two values >>z ( depth a reading taking each 0.02 m )  so in one meter we have 50 z-values and qc ( resistance in that  z depth)  I need to write a program that will choose the minimum values of ( q , 12 MPa ) if  change through z depth in one meter is less than 12MPa and the minimum value of of ( q , 15 MPa ) if the change through one meter is bigger than 12 MPa the sheet is attached Thanks Yusra 

I have a Mathcad 15 file where I can plot the absolute value of two functions that have real and imaginary components. When i converted the file to Mathcad Prime 11 it provides error. Because the graphs are at the end of the calculations sheets, i am only providing screen shots for now, to avoid having to attached the complete calculation sheets. Normally, I know how to prepare a list box, but in this instance, I need to create a dynamic list box such that input from another list box influences it. Specifically, I need to create a list box asking for the “Bolt Type,” but for that, I need two inputs, similar to a real case scenario: Bolt types depend on “Standard” and “Unit System.” Please find the attached image that I saw in a PDF. Please help me to create this in Mathcad Prime. Hello,   As you may have seen, there is a recently introduced bug that is affecting Mathcad file attachments. We are investigating with the assistance of Khoros but are having trouble reproducing the issue. So, I was hoping a few of you might be able to help us out. If you are posting an attachment, could you try first without zipping the file. If it fails, go ahead and use a zip file but message me with a link to the post and description of what happened.   Additionally, if any of you have issues with attachments and have the opportunity could you try adding attachments from a different device on a different network and let me know the results.   Thanks!

Hi everyone!I purchased a 1-year student license for Mathcad Prime Version 11. I would like to deactivate my license from the original machine and then reactivate it on a new computer. So far, I have uninstalled all Mathcad-related applications from my original computer and followed the original installation instructions to download and setup PTC Mathcad Prime 11.0.1.0 on my new computer. However, I am at the step where I need a new Product Key/Code to activate the product. Could someone please guide me through how to obtain a new Product Key, and/or tell me who to contact in order to obtain a new one.Thank you for your help in advance.

This should be a simple problem, but the units in MathCAD don't work together...125 hp...but instead I get...Is there a way to make the units work with the units or do I have to bypass all of all of that to put in my values without units?See attached MathCAD Prime 9.0.0.0

Hi guysnew hereI have worked with mathcad a few times, but never with very complex sheetsI'm trying to do a calculation sheet for the Cross laminated timber (CLT) gamma values, which are used to accound for weak layers in a laminate.I have been able to create the matrices, but in a non automatic way. I'd like to be able to make the sheet build them automatically, with the correct size for the given niumber of layers.The PDF from ProHolz provides the calculation on page 5-7, and the indices are already given for placement in the matrix.But I cant get it to work, I always have an issue with the indices i-1 when its the first line, cause the indices simply don't exist for 0...Basically I want to just write down the number of layers, and the dimension, but then it should be automaticthe Matrix V and vector S always vary in size depending on the number of layersor use a trick like this, because once the matrices are build, I could just use the right one, but for a 3 layer -composition, the

Currently using MathCAD v15 (M050). I have Prime 10 but am having licensing issues at the moment. Anyway, I'm having trouble understanding why the invlaplace function won't evaluate as shown in the attachment. If I remove the absolute value sign, then it all works as expected (am I just running up against a domain issue and need to use the "assume" keyword.....or something......?)Any advice is welcomed and appreciated! If Prime 10 has no problem with it, then that's my answer (just gotta lean on IT to get the license issues sorted). Thanks!

Hallo Mathcad User,ich nutze Mathcad 10. Und wollte fragen, wo man benutzerdefiniert einstellen kann, dass mir Gramm in "g" angezeigt wird und ich nicht "gm" schreiben muss. "gm" ist ja die vor eingestellte Einheit für Massen und ich würde es viel gerne als "g" stehen haben.Liebe GrüßeSaro

I am attempting to install Mathcad 14.0 from CD on a new PC but am unable to complete the license setup due to a "(403) Forbidden" error. I suspect this may be related to the age of the software version. Does anyone know how to solve this?

So a few days ago i made a post of my graphs not working. Back then i asked 3 teachers to look at it but they all couldn't solve it. Luckly the ptc community could.But now i need to present the solution and i want to add fancy things so it looks more complex then it is.For example first check of something is a range but somehow my second value wont work for it.Any other idea's to make it look more complicated? 

Maybe I am the weird but I would like to be able to format results using commas to make the "thousands" and "millions" clear.I realize that one can use engineering notation with powers of 10^3, 10^6, etc. but it would be nice to be able to have "3,000.00" or "42,000,500"One has always had that available in Excel (or its long departed competitors... Hello,I'm trying to make an "If" statement on Mathcad 15 that is able to pull a value for Alpha based on the Exposure Category assigned (B, C or D). I did this on Mathcad Prime (see snip) but having problems replicating it on Mathcad 15. I defined exposure earlier as " E = "B", but when i try to type the if statement it says "Cannot understand this syntax". Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
