Mathcad

I have a lot of difficulties formatting documents in Mathcad Prime 6.0 in relation to hard page breaks, and I wondered if anone else had similar problems and/or solutions.   I find that when I have page breaks in a document that regions can cross over hard page breaks. This can happen when you are editing in the document below where the page break is inserted. If you start at the top of a document and work through it, inserting page breaks and re-arranging regions as you go to get a well-structured document, when you go back to the top, you fing that everything is rearranged. Regions that were below the hard page breaks are now above, and there are large blank areas, or even pages. It also happens that the rearrangement can happen between a close and open. Very frustrating. Any suggestions?

Hi, can anynone help me please?!   I'm trying to solve this sistem of two couple differential equations but I'm not getting sucess. (I guess that the error is in the red highlighted in the second equation)

I don't want to display the result as fraction. I also changed the default to decimal but it doesn't affect. When i click it there is no result format that could be change. Someone have idea? (file attached below)

Hi,   I have a case in below snapshot is an extract of pipeline end expansion Mathcad spreadsheet calculation for determining the cold anchor point location highlighted in yellow. However for certain combination of input data, the calculated cold end anchor point location does not give the correction solution using the solver function when there are more than one intersection points at the cold end of pipeline as shown in the graph beside. Please can you help with a solution where the solver function for calculation of the cold end anchor location will output only the intersection point closest to the pipeline end.    

Hello!   I am trying to plot the picewise function (attached). Do I need to use "if" statement here or are there any other options? I think that it should be something like this: if 0<x<0.3 then y=2, if 0.3<x<0.8 then y=-((x-0.3)/0.5)+2, if 0.8<x<1 then y=1. Would anybody, please, help me with this issue?   Best regards, Sergey

Hi everyone,   I´m programming a plate heat exchanger, the flow begin in single-phase and when certain conditions are met, it change to twin-phase.   I write a while loop, it works and everything is correct.   The first problem comes when I try to introduce some more line and assign a new variable name to it, it fails, I have to reuse a variable name already used inside the loop, it is not solved by declaring the variable outside the program, neither in the program but outside the loop or inside the loop. The failure it gives is the following "" Ldtoken, Ldftn and Ldvirtftn OpCodes cannot have DynamicMethod as their destination ".   The second problem appears in the result array, certain variables fail when appearing together in the result array, only if there are two or more of them, one at a time they do not fail. I have observed that the variables that fail are those found from line 17 in the loop, the previous ones do not fail, and it does not matter if I previo

Hi everyone, Very new here. Started using Math cad around a month ago and it have been fun Now I am stuck at iterative equation solving. I want to do it using a solver block so that it is nice and tidy here is the equation   I have tried understanding but am not getting it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.   Thanks

I have used this line of coding multiple times. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong to produce random results. Can I get some advice.    My entire program is close to 100 pages so I am just posting a screen shot of the pertinent data.

Need help with creating this in mathcad

Hi I am very new to MathCad and have hit a brick wall with changing a range variable to a vector. I'm currently using Prime 6.0 in trial form.   my understanding is you define a range then define your vector based on that range e.g N:20 i:1..N a[i:i    I start the range with 1 but I always get the 0 index appear in my vector. Am I doing something wrong here? picture of my actual workings above (apologies my screen is obnoxiously wide)   It works OK if i input the vector myself   So I'm pretty sure its the range to vector technique I'm using causing me issues.Apologies if this is super easy I just cant see it right now.   Thanks for your help in advance.   Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,in the attached sheet i have two question. please scroll down until you see the first red arrow for the first question, and scroll more until you see the second arrow for the second question.Q1. is it possible to combine different matrixes and display the values in a table with the heading of each column being the variable?Q2. Iteration until convergence. i have done 10 individual iterations to get the result to converge. Is it possible to do some loop to automate the iterations in one step. please look in my sheet that describe my iteration process.

Hi, I have been trying to multiply each cell of the array by exponentially range variables. To illustrate: first cell of the matrix should be multiply by 2, second row of the array should be multiply by 2^2, third row of the array should be multiply by 2^3 and so on... Below illustrated EL(GR) should have seen: First row;1.06, second row should have been 1.06^2, third row should have been 1,06^3 and so on. I would appreciated if you help me to sort this out... Regarding Mathcad sheet is also enclosed.
