I have now the problem that i need a certain calculation for every loadcase and not just a addition of 2 vectors.Can you guys say me how i can say that i need a calculation with the parameters for each loadcase?Here for example i need to write the greater testpressure to excelI think i used the wrong calculation operation. I want to use every parameter as value for the calculation for every loadcase itself.Thx 😃

Hello!   I'm trying to solve some equations using command odesolve and all i get is error "too few initial conditions". After using ctrl+f9 it shows, that the problem is caused by constants K. I believe all "start" conditions are included. The document is about chemical reactions and i want to represent on a graph the change of the concentration of the elements in time. I'm using Mathcad 14.   Any ideas of what may be causing this problem?

To allI am playing around with plotting a set of (Y,Z) data.For each point I am calculating the angle: atan(Z/Y) and a magnitudeI have managed to create some plots (see attached) but none of them are very "good" because the data is "swamped" by the few high values. I had in mind some kind of polar plotQ1: Could any make any suggestions on way(s) of improving the plots?Q2: Is there a way of limiting the polar plot to 0-90deg?Any suggestions welcome...ThanksRegardsJXB

First I only have MathCad Express Prime 3.1Created a spreadheet that gives me the X,Y points for my spiralCopied the X,Y outputs from Excel into MathCADHow do I create a Datum Point Feature using this X,Y output from MathCAD?  When I click on import while in the Datum Point (cylindrical) feature it only allows things like pts file.'ll keep plugging away at it but if anyone has ideas that would be excellentSteve Campbell

Hey, i could manage the automatic calculation of a routine for all load cases. But i would need help with the condition which should apply for all calculated cases. THe Reult NOK OK should the given nexto the calculated routine (load case).After that i want to make a writeexcel to transfer it into Excel.How can i say in readexcel which columns on which sheet i want to import.I have so far this fileTHx guys 😃

Hello Mathcad Community,I am currently trying to automate a Mathcad script using its Automation API. I am able to write values from Matlab/Excel to Mathcad and retrieve calculated values by return. What I would like to do is set the value of variable definitions and save a version of the Mathcad sheet with each iteration thereby generating a Mathcad sheet per iteration. Can you help?The key is to take a set of data, pass it to Mathcad case at a time to a template sheet, save each case run as a seperate sheet automatically and then move on to the next case. To give context, I may have fifty sets of data and need to show the woking for each of the cases and not just in a table. Currently this would have to be done manually 1 at at time, which does lead a little bit of time consumption.As templates are not available in Mathcad Prime am looking at using Mathcad 15 unless there is a solution to accomodate this in Mathcad Prime.Thanks in advance.

Hey guys,I'm trying to build a function which multiplies a vector with each column of a matrix and returns this 'multiplied' matrix.However I get some errors I don't understand.I have the feeling that mathcad fails to cope with this "generator-type" (e.g. 0..6) inside functions. However it could be a usage errorThe sheet is attached below, does anyone see what is wrong with this or knows an easier way to solve the problem?

I've been away from Mayhcad Prime 3 for a few months on other work. On return all the vertical lines in my worksheets - eg matrix brackets, programming bars - all display as dashed lines rather than the solid lines they used to be. I haven't changed computer but have changed printer. Anybody seen this, and/or have any idea how to fix it.Regards to all.

Hi,I want to do Fourier analysis of a signal which is available to me as a sampled data (sampling frequency is much higher than the signals frequency), and time & sampled data is tabulated in excel file. Consider that I do not have a formula which can define the signal  as a function of time.Is it possible in Mathcad to do the Fourier analysis for this signal?If yes,how to do this?Is there  any limitation in number of data points to perform FFT. ( Excel has limitation of 4096 data points.)Please find the attached file as an example for signal to be analyzed .   Thanks.Manish Kumar

I beleive im very close to figuring this out. I was able to find a previous example yet I cant seem to get things just quite right. My biggest problem is units and scaleing the axes. Im I asking too much if somebody was willing to look it over and tell me where im screwing things up?And my second question is with the axis lables. Is there a way to have them automatically update with the correct units? Say I want to use this template but instead of being in ksi I now want to me in Pa (pascals). Or do I just have to go in and manually change it every time.

i have tried to plot the electric field in 3D, but always only obtain a 2D version of it.Is there any way that i can plot vector fields in 3D, for example that i can see the vector lines getting out of the source (anodes in my case) and arriving to the sink (cathodes in my case)?i have attached three graphs, one for the case of the electric field at the anode location, one for the case at middle point between anodes and cathodes and one close the cathode.i would like to know if i can have a 3D version, which will be more self explanatory for the client.thanks you in advance,RegardsRogelio

Can MathCAD do Discrete Fourier Transforms of a waveform?I am totally new to MatchCAD. I am using Excel for theses things, but it it is time consuming to fill the DFT matrice with the SIN and COS values.The waveform can be a square wave, triangular, or similar basic wave shapes.Follow up question would be: How to create the sample values of the original waveform, defined in continuous time?

In the past we had the ability to insert an AutoCad drawing into Mathcad.It does not appear that this is still possible.What is the best way to insert a sketch without purchasing new software?

I'm familiar with using the spline and interp functions in Mathcad to use spline-interpolation of a dataset. Considering a situation where the dataset is noisy, I'd like to be able to fit a spline of n-degrees of freedom rather than creating a spline that goes through all datapoints. I can't find any help in the Mathcad documentation so input from you guys would be much appreciated.I can see it exists for Matlab: File Exchange - MATLAB Central
