Mathcad

From this topic,https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/How-to-only-get-one-value-from-the-answer/m-p/821656#M202449 I know how to find the real answer from the equation, but I have other questions.I have a fours curve in this figure, and if I want to find this fours curve's peak position, I need to use the below equation. but if I have 100 curves I need to type 100 times, is there any efficient way I could do it quickly? 

What is the better function for this curve? The data in attach (Prime 5)! Thanks!

Hello, I am using a for loop to combine two small matrices. The intent is that if both values exceed 0.2, then the values at an index are to be added together. If either or both of the two values is less than or equal to 0.2, then only the greater of the two values is kept. For some reason, no matter what the index values are the condition where it takes the maximum always triggers.However, when I tried putting parentheses around the boolean statement (just throwing stuff at the wall), the second operation would always trigger.I don't understand where I'm going wrong here, I am not proficient with programming in Mathcad.

We can hide/show areas of the Excel Component. It will be very good to have this tool in Mathcad Prime 3.0 too!For the Guess Values area and the Constraints area (sometimes irs are empty) and may me for the Solver ares too:

I need to use DDE to integrate MathCAD with my .NET application. I know the service name and form a topic, but I don't understand, what is item in MathCAD and what format of thies item? In excel it is cell, for example. I didn't find information anywehere.

Hello,  Why I'm receiving these answers when I take the Laplace Transform for this examples of equations in Mathcad Prime 7? What can I do to receive a better answer from Mathcad Prime 7?Thanks.

Mathcad Prime 7 symbolic solve block fails to use a solved variable as argument to built-in function. It's common to need solve for one or more variables and then express some function of one or more variables.  E.g., two angles are solved symbolically then the sine of the sum of the two angles is sought. MC Prime gives silly result with, apparently, any built-in function.  This is the case whether a solve variable is equated to a symbolic or a constant. I attach an illustration using the simplest thing I can imagine:  a solve variable is equated to something (a symbolic value or a constant), then a variable is equated to a function of the first solve variable. I offer four simple solves, each solving for an explicitly written function of the stated value and also a solve for the function of the first solve variable as the argument.  Is this inherent in MC Prime - that it can't use solve variables in a function?

I experience the following: Search for variable excluding subscript - worksSearch for text in subscript - worksSearch for text in variable including subscript (i.e. copy math and paste into search bar) - does not workBesides, it also does not seem to search in collapsed areas, or have I overlooked something? Thanks.

Hi everyoneMathcad Prime 8's page breaks apparently don't work properly with multi-page areas. I have two areas where the first area is two pages long. If I add a page break after the first area, the third area appears correctly on page 3. However, if I collapse the first area, the third area still appears on page 3, but should have appeared on page 2. The work-around appears to be to add an element (e.g. a text region with a space) after the first area and before the page break - then collapsing/expanding areas don't mess up the page break. Has anyone seen this before?

Hi Folks, I'm writing out an example for my students using Prime 7.  I'm hoping to avoid having to explain the goofy plotting functions and all their limitations.  Has Prime 8 moved to a single plot function like V15? Fortunately, it looks like there is a V15 site license available here.  That's the backup plan. Thanks, Mark
