Mathcad

 Can PTC MathCAD create the symbol that I've highlighted in the attached photo?  (the vertical bar with the variable set to some specific value) 

What am I doing wrong? 

Hi,I am a little confused about the matrix (m,n,f).I don't very understand what's the role of f in this function. I try to use this function to do some tests, but I still don't understand why I will get these results.I don't define the i, j but the Matcahd can do the calculation.Can someone use an easy example to explain this function to me, it is hard for me to understand it.  

While still getting used to Prime 7  I stumbled across an article that was a detailed listing of all the differences between the Legacy Symbolics Engine and the New Symbolics Engine.  It detailed format differences, equation and variable ordering changes, computational changes, etc., and was many pages long.  I didn't save it and now cannot find it again.  Does anyone have a reference or link to that?

Hi All,I have been on a very long journey getting old MathCAD 15 files in our filestore converted into MathCAD prime format. I thought that the journey had finished a long time ago but discovered more files recently. As MathCAD 15 was centrally licensed from a server and this server has now gone, I was hoping the community / PTC would help get me a temporary license for 15 to allow the converter to work.. We are fully licensed (only two) for MathCAD prime and I find the converter requirement to have the old and the new products licensed a really painful experience.  Thanks for the help in advance. Ben

As of now it is possible to solve Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) symbolically in Mathcad, as long as: -the ODE is linear (does not involve powers or products of the sought function or its derivatives), and -the coefficients of the derivatives are constant (do not depend on the independent variable). This means you can solve: The result is: Check out the attachments for further information.   The solver "LODEsolve" (reference file for insertion in your sheet) and an example usage file "LM_20200923_LODEsolve" are attached. If you're using: - Mathcad 11, use LODEsolve.mcd (it will NOT work in Mathcad 15) and check out example file LM_20200923_LODEsolve.mcd. - Mathcad 15 use LODEsolve.xmcd  and check out example file LM_20200923_LODEsolve.xmcd. I want to integrate old version MathCAD to my Web API. How can I do it? Maybe you know how to use P/Invoke in this case. Also I try to use DDE, but I dont understand, what is item in MathCad (in excel it is cell, for example).

I'm using MathCAD Prime 8.0.I want to highlight the results when the results reach some limit.For example, the calculated result is in white normally, and when it reaches the limit it's in red to give an alarm. 😃

I properly purchased Prime 7.0 last February.  But I can't get any support, submit a bug report, or upgrade to Prime 8, because the first thing I must do is enter the Product Code.  I enter it - it's right here in my purchase documents along with my SON, SCN, etc.   But... I immediately get the message that itis not a valid Product Code.  I get nowhere, cannot even get through to the listed phone number.   Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am using a for loop to combine two small matrices. The intent is that if both values exceed 0.2, then the values at an index are to be added together. If either or both of the two values is less than or equal to 0.2, then only the greater of the two values is kept. For some reason, no matter what the index values are the condition where it takes the maximum always triggers.However, when I tried putting parentheses around the boolean statement (just throwing stuff at the wall), the second operation would always trigger.I don't understand where I'm going wrong here, I am not proficient with programming in Mathcad.

We can hide/show areas of the Excel Component. It will be very good to have this tool in Mathcad Prime 3.0 too!For the Guess Values area and the Constraints area (sometimes irs are empty) and may me for the Solver ares too:

I need to use DDE to integrate MathCAD with my .NET application. I know the service name and form a topic, but I don't understand, what is item in MathCAD and what format of thies item? In excel it is cell, for example. I didn't find information anywehere.
