Mathcad

CAn anyone tell me if it is possible to have multiple values for a given worksheet? I.e. if I want to work on multiple problems in one worksheet can I assign different values to the same variable I.e very simply can I calculate one rectangle area L*W using L:5 and W:5 then a differing rectangle of L:10 and W:10 without having to define as L and L1 and W and W1?CheersA‌

Can anyone tell me how to define for example x/y as a value I.e 1? This is in context of a ratio. So I'm looking to define a ratio so that when I insert it in a formula MathCAD knows what the ratio value is? WHen hen for example I write x/y I'm not allowed to define this I.e pressing : does nothing.Cheers A

When I have a while loop that goes as long as x does not equal 1.0, then it does the operation x = x + .1. The result is an infinite while loop. Why does this happen

I am trying to use the Given - Find Solve Block to determine the embedded length for a circular pile foundation given in an ASCE article, "Resistance to Overturning of Single, Short Piles", E. Czerniak, Journal of the Structural Division, Paper 1188.  The attached worksheet contains an equation for the required length for a given pile diameter with a set of lateral and vertical loads.  Any comments on why the error message resulting from the Find(L) statement would be appreciated.

Hello, new at using Mathlab 14, I have a problem with unwanted variable's value change based on it's location on the worksheet. In the attached file, variable's K33,5 value changes by moving it above/below worksheet's first horizontal line and I cannot understand why. Help needed.

Dear All,I am again coming to you with an issue I have related to work I am doing from a text book this time on the topic of integration as summation. The text book is trying to prove that integration is essentially the summation of an infinite number of rectangles. I have inserted images of the text in question as this is easier (sorry for this being sideways).The example looks at a simple graph of y=x as seen in the below images. The problem I am having is I understand the concept, indeed I know that to find the area under the line y=x can be derived algebraically by integrating x to give x^2/2 and calculating for x=4 and x=2 and taking one from the other to get an area of 6 units^2.However, following the example in the text book in the second image I can't see how the penultimate line of lim n to infin 4/n *n + lim n to infin 4/n^2*n(n+1)/2 gives 4 + 2 = 6. I can see that 4/n*n will give 4 as the ns cancel but on the other side I see that 4/n^2*n(n+1)/2 should give 4n^2+n/2n^2 would

Shift+space key conflict with Windows 10 system input method editor when edit table in Chinese Simplified version Operation system.problem:I want to insert a column in table, when i press Shift+space key, table doesn't has any change, but Windows 10 system input method editor change from half characters to full characters.Like the picture below : problem solution:install a new English language to system, when you want to add a new column to table, change the language from local language to English.Request:Could PTC MathCAD engineering team change the hot key "shift+space" to others or add switch options?

Hi All, I sometimes use the excel function in Mathcad to aid with some back end processing. One of the things that bugged me in Prime 3.1 was that you could not use an excel component which had VBA macro's in. WHY?When Prime 4.0 came out I would have thought that this would have been corrected, but no I still cant use macro enabled excel sheets.As this is an issue for Mathcad, as its not an issue for excel could you not include a function that just links to the excel component and runs it. you have a read functionREADEXCEL("filename...")Can you not just have a WRITEEXCEL, RUNEXCEL commands which would solve the issue as it would run in the native office suite. If this is not to your liking then could you please put the ability to incorporate macro based excel sheets in!!!!

I have some parametric in motor torque calculation, for example: motor speed: 2000 Pulse/round, or 360 deg/r.but i can't find unit of "degree" or "deg/r" in MathCAD Prime 4.0.  How to add costume unit, or how to give the unit deg/r to value?
