I have a company license to use Mathcad prime version 10. I provided license server name and port number. But when I open a file, it shows me to run this feature you need to upgrade to full license. There is a message: "This is a premium feature. To use this and other premium features, please upgrade to a full license using the upgrade button."  When I try to upgrade the license, it directs me to purchase the feature.  Other coworker does not need to upgrade to use the feature. Please let me know how to fix the problem. We are in different time zones.

Hi all,  I need to solve a calculation using Mathcad prime 7 for my work, but i am newer of mathcad and not able to solve it by maself, even with the help of ChatGTP, it's not clear.  So my problem is, I have an array of 3 values as Tp by witch i can get my L0 array, and the fuction that i wanna get solved is as below.When there is only one Tp/L0, the problem is easy to be solved, you will find the solution is 311.733m for a Tp of 15s. However, when the TP or L0 is an array of multiple values, then i cant get it solved correctly in the solve block, either i cant get a solution or the solution is incorrect (ie. for a Tp of 15s, the solution is 352.175m comparing to 311.733m that i found at the other sheet).Btw, in my full calculation sheet (as shown below as screenshot), i build the block in the same way, not sure why it works but not in the calculation table I built separately.  Can someone can help me write it correctly ? thanks Attachment:&nbsp

I have a few older Mathcad files. Some as old as v2001i. I would like to read the files to see if there is anything usable. I tried the free Mathcad version, but it will not open the files. Is there a way to see the files without Mathcad. I did have a license 20+ years ago, but not todayThank You

Hi,The visual quality of chart components (MathCad 10) when printed (pdf) seems not as good as that of "standard" plots, and changing dpi in printer settings didn't help there.Is there any tip to improve this?Thanks for your help,Cédric

I want to keep EI as EI in my calculations, as EI was defined previously. wondering if I can do that, and then I also want to extract 0.5 values out, because these are my Distribution factors. so I want to be able to type DF_BA = 0.5.

I was trying trigonometric functions in Mathcad & for some reason I couldn`t get these results/values in fraction mode. Is there a way to enable them? I couldn`t get it in Math Formatting Tab as well. Please feel free to share your thoughts.- Srikar

I have an ascii text data file that has 3000+ lines of information. I am attempting to extract some values from the first "column" of a group of lines near the end of the file. The lines are bracketed by known labels. I have attempted to do this using the READFILE command in the following approach: FileDat := READFILE("path to file", "delimited", 1, [1,1])startline:= match("Data Starts Here", FileDat) + 1endline:= match("Data Ends Here", FileDat) -1data:= READFILE("path to file", "delimited", [startline, endline],[1,1],1) I have two questions:1) Is there a way to match the full expression, including spaces, in the data file? Right now, it is not matching the "Data Starts Here" - it is only getting the first word "Data". I can correct this by putting underscores in the expression to be matched, and in the data file, but that is a less desirable workaround. 2) I note that the first "READFILE" generates an array (FileDat) that pulls in the first column (or first word o

I am using an include statement to include calculations and values from a reference sheet in my main Mathcad document. Is there a way to get access to variables defined in the parent document in the reference document? For example, if I define a variable called "mass" in the parent document, and then I have an expression in the referenced document that multiplies mass by 2, as in: double_mass := mass * 2, will that work?  Right now, I am only able to use variables in the reference sheet that have been defined in that sheet. I do note that functions and variables defined in the reference sheet are available in the parent sheet following the include statement, as expected.

The attached MC14 file is looking for a limit. The result should be -pi^2/8. My attempts failed. Only with the help of good old derive did I manage it. How does this work in MC14?

I am using Mathcad Express 10 to calculate the stress and deflection of components under a specific load case. To avoid having to create a copy of the calculation for each component, I want to perform the calculation using vectors and matrices simultaneously for all components and their values.Unfortunately, I don't have access to the full version of Mathcad so I can't use any programming.However, when I switch the calculation to vectors, a problem occurs that I cannot solve. I have created a minimal example, see attached file.There are three vectors (v1 - v3) which all have the same length. The length of the vectors results from the number of different components to be calculated and is not fixed but can change. Therefore, the solution must work with any vector length.What I am trying to achieve: I need the maximum values of each line from the vectors for the calculation later on. Hello, I'm working in Mathcad Prime 10 I am struggling to get a solve block working. I'm attempting to calculate a grid convergence index based on a published guidance document, and it requires an iterative approach which I thought could be executed by a solve block. I'm receiving various errors (see one in the image below) depending on what I try. I have attached my current workbook. Thanks for any help you can provide.
