HI friends,I tried to import an XLS Sheet, which was generated by MMA (with 30 digits after the comma) but get problems. The DATA is always 0.Can anyone here confirm this with MC 15 M045?Thanks

Hi, everyone. I´m trying to make a calculation with different inputs values. I looked on the forum but with my little experience I can´t made it yet. May be, my case is more simple than the examples. So I prefer to askMy input is a diameter particle (x). With that I need to calculate Ti, and with Ti obtain n. Which is an efficiency.Then, it will be excelent make a table with my inputs "x"  on a column, and the efiency "n", on another column. Finally, make a graphic with both.Also, I take this oportunity to ask. In the future I will need to find the minimal number of "x", which make the efficiency n=1. The calculation is for the efficiency of a cyclone to separate differents particles depending of their size. So, I want to know in parallel with the other calculation in the same sheet, the smaller particle which I can have a 100% efficiencyI know is probably very simple to do, but I cant.I attached my problem. To all,my Prime 3.1 version has stopped working like a fully version and does not allow me to use, for example programming on a calculation sheet.it happened already few months ago and it was solved with the help of some tech from PTC.they sent me the license file again, but i cannot discern what number of all the numbers that appear on the license file is the one that i have to use to re-activate again my license for Prime 3.1.this is really annoying.Still finding issues on Prime that i never had on Mathcad previous version.

Hi Friends,one more question.Here my sheets: In the first area I used Quasi-Newton and got fine results, nearly the same as the ideal values.But when I use LM I get much other results but both methods have the same SSE. could this be true?Thanks

Dear Sirs,i am having a lot of problems when i am running calculations in mathcad 15 and prime 3.1, am wondering if the problems could be related to my computer capabilities to run mathcad.can you please, suggest the optimum characteristics that i should have in my computer to be able to run mathcad 15 and prime 3.1 without so much crashes and delays on the calculation and saving times?because the programs crash so often i am trying to save the calculation sheet as often as possible, which increases the time that i have to dedicate to keep my calculation sheet saved, instead of spending time improving it.thank you in advance,Rogelio

The PTC Mathcad team has been working with Microsoft on this specific issue, which was created when Microsoft fixed a bug in .NET 4.5 which then had an undesirable side-effect on how Prime is able to render multi-part text symbols. The most visible impact is that adjacent lines can become misplaced and/or disconnected.Microsoft has been working on a solution for us, but they will not undo their original bug fix. The fix they provide PTC will allow choosing between the old and new behavior by application.Due to Microsoft's Dual Branching Servicing Model the fix will need to be deployed in a Limited Distribution Release, which means that Microsoft is addressing Prime’s specific issue in a *hotfix* that PTC will make available to our customers.
