The depicted snippet works in Prime 9 and I think earlier versions. Fails with Prime 10.0.0.0.Prime 9 worksheet attached.
Hello I have problem with opening mathcad files from the file explorer. Recently I changed to the newest version of mathcad prime 10 and then I started to have this problem. If I open mathcad itself and then I open the file from there it works perfectly, but from the file explorer if I want to open the file, it says, that it couldnt find the aplication to open it and I need to select a new one which would open the file. The problem it that I dont find there Mathcad as the application which would open the file. If anyone would have some recommendations how to solve this, I would be gratefull. Thank you
Dear all,I'm encountering an issue with my sheets. The expression in the red box is producing incorrect results based on the Δna criteria. Could anyone help with this? Thanks!
Using Prime 10, I am trying to write CSV files containing coefficients of polynomials. The written values are limited to 10 characters. How do I increase the number of significant figures in the CSV files? This was easy in MathCAD v15 Thanks,
Can anyone teach how to produce the result for maximum moment between the 3 segment? For example, Max moment = 525.8kN.m . Max shear = 220.1kN Thank you for your help
Hello, I am using Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0. On sheet 3 I am trying to call in column 2 (via data[i,2] in the first IF statement) which has a text name for the value. If the value equates to something in my IF statements, I want my program to calculate the H_f or Friction Head. I want the program to go down the array one at a time and at the end output the sum of all the individual friction heads added together, so I gave the array the indices of i,2 with i going from 0 (first value in the submatrix 'data') to p-1 (end of the rows in the main Matrix 'System'). I am not sure why I am receiving an error which states "This array index is invalid. The index must be an integer, not less than origin, and not greater than the last element.". Is there any chance you all may be able to assist? Can a variable not be in the Array index? If not, how do I go down my list? Should I have individual vectors (single column arrays) for each co
Could someone please help me with what I am doing wrong here?
I am trying to use runif function however whatever I am plotting it looks the same. I am using ver 9.0
I have converted the template from 15 to 10 and now i am trying to use the reference file but the there is error as attached. But i could not find any error in the reference file. In reference file i am reading the data from excel. But no errors here.
Could you please assist me with integrating the attached function in Mathcad? It represents the probability density function (pdf) of the Gamma distribution. I know that the integral should evaluate to 1, but I am unsure how to perform the integration in Mathcad without specifying the values for alpha and beta. When I assign specific values to these parameters, the integral correctly evaluates to 1, but I would like to achieve this result symbolically.Your guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I would like to change PTC mathcad langage without re-install in order to have the right translation of french error notification.Do you know how to do that ? Thanks PTCmathcad 9.0
I try to convert mathcad 15 Taylor serie to PTC mathcad 9.0.It seems that mathcad 15 could treat Taylor series with several variables but not PTC mathcad 9.0.After PTC conversions, PTCmathacd 9.0 give the following error : more than one independant variableCould you help me to solve this problem ? Thanks
I have a default set of units that are included in my document template. They are there because I use them regularly. Having a bit of fun, I have attached a sheet with these and about 50 more. Who doesn't compare area to Rhode Island or volume to a cord of firewood? Feel free to add more.Bob
Following up on thr thread https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/LeastSquaresFit-usage-for-Foster-Model-parameters/td-p/100070 Why does genfit blow up when provided with the actual Foster Model thermal fitting function and guess values used within that model when fitting to @VD_12953418 digitized plot data? I would have guessed that the genfit result would have been close to the plot of the model or to the example of digitized data.
Green shows circle of half.
So, I've been able to work through all the values so far but seems like I have a problem with the summation notation since the THD of alpha does not converge to a solution:
hi ptc team,i use PTC Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0 convert xmcd file to mcdx, but there are so many errors in mcdx file, how to resolve? please help.
I encountered an interesting and maybe concerning problem in how MathCad solves its intergrals between different versions. In the version of MathCad I use (MathCad Prime 9.0.0.0.) the integral I wanted to solve and get an analytical expression to gave one answer. This answer is different from the answer you get on older MathCad versions. I noticed this from some old reports where this integral was solved via MathCad about 20 years ago and they get a different analytical expression. This expression you get from the older versions is also the same you get by solving the integral completely analytically (which you can do via variable substitution). The difference between the answers seem to be very little and the residual could just be some numerical truncation maybe, but as we can see the difference is not completely negligible depending on what you are after. Has anyone encountered something similar to this and know why this is the case?
Is it possible to export out a scalable vector file from Mathcad prime worksheet? If yes how can I do that?
Hello all, I'm trying to do a fit for the transient thermal impedance of a transistor based on a set of points that I extracted from a datasheet. At first, I tried to do a simple polyfit, but it seems that the fit can diverge to very high numbers or even go negative, which may not be acceptable in this case, since the thermal impedance is strictly positive.I tried to do a fit similar to the Foster thermal model, based on R and C couples of values, that is usually used in the thermal models of electronic components. For that, I tried to use the LeastSquaresFit function, but it doesn't converge in my case, script attached below. Could anyone explain the reason for the divergence ? Is it the input data or the way it is used ?In the case I try to separate R and C values to 2 vectors, should the guess vector be the stack of the R and C vectors ? The documentation of the function doesn't explain it in a clear way.Alternatively, in the case of a logarithmic regression, is it po
Hi, I need instaling Mathcad 10 in another computer, please send me download link. Thanks
How do I get Mathcad to get from this:to this:without having to redefine f(x) myself?
Hi,Which software do you recommend for verifying bending moments and shear forces in a beam from Mathcad calculation?I use the beam calculator https://solveredu.com/en/beam-calculator/. It's generally good, but do you have any other recommendations?
Hi All, What is the formula to stack the zcal into a vector and rearrange the vector up to the zcal value. Can anyone please advice?
Dear All, Found the solution to stack and filter the vector to calculated value. I am looking for a loop or formula which I can calculate area under each section of the vector and then cummulate them.
