Hello,The right endpoints of the five intervals are:   where i = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The width of each rectangle is: and the height of each rectangle can be obtained by evaluating f(x) at the right endpoint of each interval.     How to create the below rectangles in Mathcad Prime (8)?  

1. How can I correct the highlighted functions so that they return 1.00 ft (see image below)?2. Are others experiencing similar issues in this version of Mathcad?3. Is this issue resolved in later versions of the program?Thanks!

Newbie question...if I have a matrix of data values as shown below, how can I get Mathcad to solve for the actual polynomial (or exponential) expression ? Or stated another way...can Mathcad provide the actual polynomial formula that would produce the graphed curve below based on the data provided. I am using MathCad V9.0.

Hi everyone, I have the following table as seen bellow in the attachment and my problem is that I have to extract alphax, alphay, betax and betay based on the value of lambda. Is there any way mathcad can do this on it's own?Thank you in advance.    

I am trying to solve a simulation of blowdown of a pressure vessel and have defined the ODE's but there is a glitch I cannot resolve with a variable undefined error. I am sure it is a trivial error but if anyone can assist I would appreciate it. Mathcad 15 sheet attached.Thanks Ross 

Hi all,I'm new to Mathcad and trying to do somthing that is very simple on Excel, and hopefully isn't too difficult on Mathcad-I have a range variable say z:=-5..5I have a complicated function f(z), but for simplicity just assume it is - f(z):=z^3I would like to have a matrix where the first column is z, and the second coloumn is f(z).It should look something like that--5-125-4-64-3-27-2-8-1-10011283274645125 Any ideas/suggestions how to do it?Thank you 🙂 

 

Hi I am a new user and running into an issue.  I defined a variable outside the solve block and in the solve block set up odesolve with the function in the ODE.  However, I get an error in the solve block saying variable not recognized.  Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

I have installed P9 along side P8.  Some things to note: P9 is not downwards compatible.  I inadvertently saved a sheet in P9 and could not open is P8.  You can copy and paste but only parts.  This should have been made clear in my opinion.P9 HTML help is now PTC web based.  This is of no use if you do not have internet connection or working in a controlled environment. I think this is a poor approach.  the user should be given the option at installation.AnimationThere is some silly plot animation that was installed.  I honestly have no idea what to do with this.If this is an emulation of MCAD animation, this falls very short.Some explanations at the installation would be valuable.Other than that, its the same software as P8 with all its resident deficiencies such as plotting, searching etc. etc. Regards,  

Hello, I've seen this question asked previously but wanted to get some additional confirmation. We are planning to update our license file to allow Prime v9 to be deployed to our users. Will the updated license file for v9 still allow Prime v8 to run? Or will that run on Express mode and not have access to our license?

there is a problem in finding the solution of the equation in given below due to change in change in value caused by unit tonnes automatically gets converted to Kg.
