Hello,I am a student and have been using PTC Creo 8.0 Education. Since yesterday, however, I have been experienceing an issue with my license. When I try to update it, I receive the following error message: "You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type". I have read on the forum that it is possible to reactivate the maximum number of requests, but I am not sure how to do this. Could someone please explain the steps I should follow to resolve this issue?
Hello,I used PTC Creo for my university, and after a year, I can no longer activate the licence again (when I try to do so via reconfigure, it just gives me an error message). Also, my account on the website does not allow me to access licence management and other functions, giving me an 'Access Denied - Insufficient Privileges' error message. Is there any way I can confirm my student status? I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance.
I'm a student and I have a question. Could you please explain how to use the method "ProXsecCompXhatchStyleSet"? I want to change the pattern of the section lines in the perspective view, but I'm not sure how to use this API or how to use other related APIs. Can someone help me?
After entering my product code to download it says, "Access Denied - Insufficient Privileges"Any Ideas why?

Hi, I've been using creo parametric 12.4.0.0 thinking that I was using the academic edition which I have a node locked license to use. I didn't enter this license when I first downloaded CREO and tried to use it to install CREO again in the academic version. This hasn't resulted in the academic version downloading but instead the error message that my code no longer works. How do I access my academic version? My error is I have reached the maximum number of license requests for my product, this appears anytime I try to enter my license. Please help. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
I just want to put this hear since the proposed solution in this topic didn't work for me:I needed to turn Hyper V in the Windows Features off and restart in order to be able to install and run Creo 9 on Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.1702 . Unfortunately reinstalling Hyper V causes the installed Creo to no longer start!
Hello,While renewing my Creo student license, I was getting errors when installing the license code. I tried deleting all of my creo files and reinstalling from scratch but the error is persisting. Im having problems with MathCad Prime 10. Everytime I try to save a document, the program closes, and do not save. I got my licens through my school (Aarhus University in Denmark). My computer has Windows 11.
Hello, here we are in 2026 and as per solution provided in this old topic again our existing aforementioned license has expired. Would you be able to assist again? Thank you much!
I had to reinstall the program several times due to an error on my laptop, it finally worked. I wanted to make a video to show my colleagues how to install it so that it doesn't cause problems. The thing is, when I tried to reinstall the license, I got the following error. You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type. I contacted my Uni, they told me to contact PTC, but I can't access the eSupport because I have to upgrade my account using a client number which I don't have, my uni only have given me the licence number. I need the program to make my lab practices. It would be helpful if some of the support members of PTC could reach me and do the MAC thing to my laptop, I've read on the forum and I know that it's possible to reactivate the max num of requests. Thanks.
I installed creo 12.4 student edition yesterday but when i start new manufacturing part it tries opening but doesn't do anything, pls help thank you

Hello PTC community. I've found myself in a very peculiar situation that's been puzzling me for weeks now. I rely heavily on Creo for assignments and everyday projects, so any help from experienced users would be fantastic. Here's the rundown: Several months ago, I decided to perform a fresh reinstall of Creo 11 after the application began freezing and crashing my laptop at startup. However, after following the installation guide (provided by my uni), I encountered the same problem: more crashes and freezes. My teacher suggested uninstalling/reinstalling V12. Against all expectations, this backfired: not only did I begin to experience licensing compatibility issues with V12, but the V11 reinstaller began to fault, with various error messages and failed downloads. Fast forward a few weeks, and I'm still struggling with the same issues, and can hardly get Creo to download on my computer again... I'm honestly hopeless at this point. If someone has had similar problems or can dir
Installed Creo 12 student edition. Upon first install, some issues arose and application icon did not load, likely due to not disabling Windows firewall and defender. Performed 'clean' uninstall using Windows 11 control panel. Reinstallation was only partial, had issues opening .prt files and setting file directory inside Creo, but could still sketch and somewhat operate .prt after creating a copy. However, only some parts would save. Performed another uninstall, this time deleting PTC keys and manually deleting empty files in files explorer. Unzipped zip file in its own folder in C drive. Followed setup after running as admin. Creo common files and parametric did not install: "Prerequisite for Creo Parametric -- Creo 12 Platform Services -- is not satisfied."After looking for solutions online I am not sure what steps are best to take, and I would like to avoid messing with registry keys again if possible.
Hi everyone, I’m working on a Random Vibration Analysis in Creo Simulate for a 6U-XL CubeSat structure, which is mounted inside a deployer and tested on a shaker table. So far, I’ve successfully completed the Modal Analysis: - I constrained the side rails (interfaces with deployer). - Assigned material to the structure. - Used point masses for each unit to replicate the payloads, and added weighted links to distribute the masses. - Element mesh was created using AutoGEM (solid) Now, I’m moving to the Random Vibration (PSD) Analysis and have a few questions I hope someone can help with:- I’m applying an enforced motion (base excitation) on the constrained rail surfaces, simulating the shaker input. Is this the right approach for replicating a vibration test inside a deployer?- I used weighted links to connect the point masses to the payload mounting holes. The holes are not constrained (only the rails are). Is that correct, or should the payload attachment holes be constrained
When I arrive at step 2 of the installation process, there is nothing for me to download. This is what comes up and do not know how to proceed."According to our records, there are no products entitled to software updates.Due to recent changes in our Mathcad products, an entitlement to Mathcad Prime 7.0 has been added to the license file as a new serviceable item. For customers using floating licenses to serve multiple versions of Mathcad, this will enable you to checkout more licenses than you are entitled to. This is a temporary situation, as the serviceable item for Prime 6.0 and earlier versions is no longer distributed by PTC for new or renewed subscriptions (refer to the Mathcad Upgrade Page for more information). The Customer is responsible for ensuring that you do not use more licenses than you have purchased, and you will not be able to rely on the license file to manage that compliance for you. I purchased the "Mathcad Prime 11 Student Edition One-time License" and I am unable to download the software. I am unable to open a support case due to "insufficient privileges." Other times I am denied access and when I click help on the global representative link, it takes to a page that does not even open. I have already made a post on the PTC community, but have gotten no replies, I am not sure what else I can do.

I am a college student and I have been using MathCad for quite a while. My old license expired in October, and I am now in a class that requires MathCad 11, so I just purchased a student license for it. I have MathCad 10 on my computer, but not 11. When I went to download the image to get 11, it told me there were no products entitled to software updates. I do not want to activate the license on 10 because I need it to be compatible with 11. How to I download 11 onto my computer so I can activate the license?
