I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.2.0The Text Tailoring Utility seams to replace the rbInfo file for the customization of Text in the UI.https://support.ptc.com/help/windchill/r13.1.0.0/en/index.html#page/Windchill_Help_Center/customization/TypeMgrManageTextTailoringAbout.html#I could not find any info on Exporting the customized Texts for a system (dev) and import it on a new server. How should it be managed ?

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Is it possible to export Part Rename History over UI or WRS or Query Builder for automatic processing?Description: I need to export the rename history of several parts from Windchill. For export, I usually create a view and then save it as an Excel file. Is it possible to include the rename history in a view? Alternatively, is it possible to retrieve the rename history for a part via WRS? Unfortunately, I haven't found a solution using either method. I haven't been able to achieve this using the Query Builder either. I hope someone has a tip for me.

Hi team,Lastest WTPart and related WTPartMaster already available in windchill. we need to create new old revision of the same WTPart.ex.Existing Part Master - AB12CD and available WTpart revision in the partmaster is 3.2 need to create old Part revision - 0.1, 1.1, 2.1 i try to revise the lasted part and set the revision to the old revison getting below errorError: Cannot change revision of Part - AB12CD, NEWREVDATANAME, ORGNAME, 4.1 (Engineering) to target revision 2. Please share any API or Java code to create the old revision for the existing part. Thanks,Mathivanan

Is it possible to select multiple CAD models within the file open dialog of PTC Creo to open multiple models in one operation?I'm only able to select one model at a time.Is there perhaps another way to accomplish the same thing? Thank you very much in advance for any advice.

Hello,  I've created new string data type in Rockwell PLC, that contains 250 and 1000 signs. However I'm unable to read 1000 it in KEP. This article says, that 255 can be displayed, "When the String length is more than 255 the left characters will not be displayed"However i get unknown value. What can be the issue? 

Version: Windchill 11.2 Use Case: Wondering if there is a way to tell Creo/Windchill that a component in an assembly is not to show in the BOM structure.Description: I am trying to get an accurate BOM to take directly to Syspro MRP. We don't use WT parts at this time so looking for a solution without WT parts if possible. We currently export a CSV of the multi-level structure report from Windchill and import this into Syspro. This method works great until we have components in the CAD assembly that we don't want to show in Syspro. Then we have to manually go through and clean things up. Would be great if a part could be set to not show in the BOM- whether that is from within Creo or within Windchill . We use Creo 8.0.10.0 and Windchill 11.2.1.0 Thanks!Matt

I am trying to setup a Sandbox runtime environment for DevOps . Our windchill has 1000s of Product and Libraray , Context , Folder, Template , Team , Policies  . As Dev/Test environment cloning is a costly affair in terms on infrastructure and Cloud maintenance , we want to setup a vanilla 12.0 server and load data through LoadFromFile . Is thee any mechanism we have to  get all the administrative data in XML ?  My runtime env version is same as Dev/Test I can use a java code and QuerySpec , however looking for a loader that can be  optimized and have all necessary dependency 

Hi,  I am facing problem to migrate one of my ThingWorx projects. We are using ThingWorx version 9.5.0-b143 for Development, Quality and Production systems. i am getting the below error when trying to Export project from development and importing into quality system:-"Unable to create service handler for getModelGroupData in Monitor:Thing : Handler getModelGroupData requires a ServiceDefinition" but i dont have this service in the thing.   Along with it i am there are errors: Import Failed: java.lang.NullPointerException

I have a company license to use Mathcad prime version 10. I provided license server name and port number. But when I open a file, it shows me to run this feature you need to upgrade to full license. There is a message: "This is a premium feature. To use this and other premium features, please upgrade to a full license using the upgrade button."  When I try to upgrade the license, it directs me to purchase the feature.  Other coworker does not need to upgrade to use the feature. Please let me know how to fix the problem. We are in different time zones.

Hi all, Looking for a bit of guidance on annotations, but my desired outcome may not be possible from the research I've done already. I am working on an assembly and want to include an annotation for our own reference while designing. I was aiming to have an attached leader note with the text following the screen, rather than being placed on a plane, so it was more legible when working within the assembly. I have a legacy model from a much older version of Creo/ProE where this behaviour was achieved. Pictures below showing the text of the leader note scaling with the view's zoom level, and rotating to always face the screen. The leader and elbow are fixed in 3D space, but the text is dynamic.  The closest I have achieved in Creo8 is an item attached note, but this can be blocked by the model, whereas the legacy note always displays on top. I am guessing there have just been updates in the way the annotations work, and there is now no way to replicate this

Hi all,  I need to solve a calculation using Mathcad prime 7 for my work, but i am newer of mathcad and not able to solve it by maself, even with the help of ChatGTP, it's not clear.  So my problem is, I have an array of 3 values as Tp by witch i can get my L0 array, and the fuction that i wanna get solved is as below.When there is only one Tp/L0, the problem is easy to be solved, you will find the solution is 311.733m for a Tp of 15s. However, when the TP or L0 is an array of multiple values, then i cant get it solved correctly in the solve block, either i cant get a solution or the solution is incorrect (ie. for a Tp of 15s, the solution is 352.175m comparing to 311.733m that i found at the other sheet).Btw, in my full calculation sheet (as shown below as screenshot), i build the block in the same way, not sure why it works but not in the calculation table I built separately.  Can someone can help me write it correctly ? thanks Attachment:&nbsp

Creo 8: In an assembly, we're using a 40" flexible bellows vacuum line multiple times (3), but since it needs to be a single item line with the correct quantity of 3, it obviously can't be 3 separate parts.  Yes, I could be sloppy and make 3 different parts but with the part number and description parameters the same, but that's not acceptable because it would make 3 different item #'s.   It's not like bulk wire or tubing etc. where I could simply have a quantity of "AR", these are specific 40" bellows.   Is there a simple way to do this?  I was thinking it "might" be possible using multiple bodies, but we don't want to do that because our Windchill guys say multi bodies cause Windchill issues, plus I'm not an expert in using multiple bodies in Creo (used it quite a bit in NX 8.5 about 7 years ago though).   Thoughts?

Hello everyone!I want to share the information how to create custom projection views for diferent scenarios.It took me some time to get this done.If you want to create ISO, Dimetric or custom projection views you can do it by using these formulas:a= atan(sqrt(tan(α)*tan(β))/(tan(β))) - angle of rotation on vertical axisb= asin(sqrt(tan(α)*tan(β))) - angle of rotation on horizontal axisα and β - are the angles you want for projection view (ex.
