Hello, i'm trying to connect Thingworx to MSSQL using ODBC instead of JDBC and i found some CS and community posts about ADO Service, but i'm not sure if this is a good choice for using on Thingworx 9.3 as the ADO is like ten years old and i don't even know if it's still supported by newer Thingworx versions.So, i came here asking for help with some solution, because i don't want to connect ODBC on Kepware Server for getting data because i don't want to overload my database with periodic queries from Kepware Server.Thingworx version: 9.3-b20

Hi all, I have been trying to create a library of parts for our company to use via Windchill. I have created all the parts via the instance creator and they all generated correctly and worked with the IFX tool when the files were local.  I then uploaded the files for all the components onto Windchill and it worked fine for a week or so. However, I have now run into an issue where the button head fasteners and nuts don't assemble via the tool for an unknown issue.  Looking into the error note it says the placement references are failing to work properly but I can't find anything different in the .dat files compared to other fastener files which are still working as intended.  They can be assembled manually from their location on Windchill so the parts work, just seem to fail when trying to use them with IFX.  I've attached the fastener .dat files used below on Creo 8.0. Please let me know if there is a fix to get those files working as t

im currently attending school at ECPI university, we use mathcad for some of our courses. i have it installed on my desktop at home, but also use it on my laptop when im traveling for work so i can still complete my homework. its not allowing me to access the program with our activation key and says i have the maximum number of license requests. im trying to figure out how to get this to work so i can complete my homework assignments. it wont even allow me to create a new account or anything else and activate it that way. i just need some help figuring this out.

Hi,I try to do some calculations with values stored in a table.In general the calculation works fine until I have no division by zero in may calculation, then I got error message that calculation includes division by zero or only one value is displayed.In attachments you can see some examples (calculation of SFF).Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi! I'm spending hours to try to change the language of my PTC Creo, but without success. I already chose to add the language german in the Installation window, and what I read everywhere is to add a specific line in a PSF file, however there is no PSF file on my computer ; the Folder bin, which took a lot of efforts to find, has no file (just another Foldder wtih XML files).Can I add a psf file? How? Can somebody help me please to change the language from French to German

Need help in simulating the internal, external gear pair. And the gear-2 here will move horizontally and engage with gear-1. Also, gear-2 should start rotating after teeth engagement with gear-1. I am interested in dynamic simulation in this case. Is this possible in Creo Mechanism MDO? Thanks for your help!

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: per ASME Y14.35, Section 6.1.5 the "APPROVED" column of the Revision History table is defined as: "Authorized signature(s), name, or approval indicator, as required, shall be entered to indicate approval of the change(s) made to the drawing." When working offline with paper copy, this was traditionally a signature by the engineer reviewing the drawing to signify it had been approved. While working within a PDM system however, the approval is done electronically through a Windchill Workflow, and so this field has a disconnect. Windchill locks the state of the drawing after the engineer approves it, but in order to add the signature of the engineer to the drawing it would have to be modified post approval - which is not allowed by users but if done automatically through a workflow would be acceptable. I have a Mashup that contains another mashup using the Contained Mashup widget. When I first navigate to this mashup, it can be seen and interacted with correctly. However, reloading the page through the browser "Reload" button it results in a blank white page. I am using Thingworx Platform 9.4.

Is it possible to have more than 1 custom system color scheme in Creo Parametric 10.0.7.0  . This seems as though it would be simple. We are all well aware that there are, by default, six choices for the "system color scheme" As far as I can tell there is just one called custom. Can I add another custom scheme? This is so different than the "appearance manager" where there are often a bewildering selection of colors for the models.

🙂 PTC should have a bug fix on this. Not a bug I guess, but would be so enjoyable to navigate flawlessly. OK! to the point: Once the drop down - select option (Check box) - I have to click out side for it to go. - I would recommend PTC to do the same with scroll function. Scroll does not work when the window dropdown is showing. It is a small thing but annoys me 50 times minimum in a day. This a great example about how a smallest thing can ruin for overall passion and productivity. WHAT CAN BE DONE?  Thank for taking your time to read and pl let me know your thoughts. GO CREO!
