Hi Dear,   I am having a 2D Drawing which requires to show Dual dimensioning in a table for BOM. Option 1 (See attached image) :Right now by default in Creo 2D Drawing the dimensions shows up Top[mm] and Bottom[Inch]. Option 2 (see attached Image) : I would like to show dimensions side by side - Calling dimensions from Model. Left [mm] right sixe [Inch]. (I have manually written as of now in this image),I would appreciate if you can adivse how can I achieve option 2 for dimensions that are called from Model? Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Experts, I have connected few PLC (Siemens S7-300) in our plant and now on progress connecting PLC (Siemens S7-400) to Kepware.  There is no issue on S7-300 communication and value reveive. Happy it works all well.For S7-400, communication are ok however value received from PLC are different. all datatype (word,float,bool etc) are different value than PLC. i tried changing byte type (little and big endian), but value still different.To test further, i do tried with SCADA which on same network, no issues on value received.Need your advice. 

How can I do it using ThingView widget?If not ThingView is there any other widget in Thingworx  or we can find in market place?

We are currently using Pingfederate as CAS and Microsoft Azure Entra ID as IDP . We want to switch and only use Azure Entra ID as both CAS and IDP. We are able to authenticate users using Entra ID in thingworx but now we want to integrate windchill using integrator connectors. SO we have to setup windchill as a resource server on Entra iD or can we do it just by keeping thingworx as resoruce server. I'm trying to create an R1/8 threaded hole as a mate to the component in the picture. The component is an R1/8 to 12mm push fit adapter. I tried to create a thread using the helix sweep feature but was unsuccessful. if someone could point me in the right direction, it would be very much appreciated.  

 Does anyone know why this is happening? I set all the "B" Labels to "Variable" and it still says undefined.   I got this example from a youtube video and it gives a different error.  This is pretty frustrating, not gonna lie. I am new to mathcad, so maybe it's something I'm doing.Here's to hoping you can help.Thanks

Hello all, I'm struggling about creating a new format in our company's drawing, we are using Creo 9.0.4.0. I want to add some selectable notes in the drawing and I succeeded by creating a custom symbol. I can customize it when I am still redesigning the format file, change the values, move it, everything rocks. Now when I want to create a drawing with this format, I cannot customize nor move the symbols anymore. They are frozen as they are printed on the paper and I cannot even try to customize it at all as they are not present in the symbol list at all. Do you know if I missed some parameters in the config, in the dtl or in the symbol itself so that I can at least customize it? Thank you in advance for your feedback and help! Giandonato \    

Hi thereI get some results from the balance moments Now I need to calculate the carry over moments by taking one-half of the balanced moment at a joint and transferring it to the far end of the member connected at that joint. The carry-over moment has the same sign as the balanced moment.It is it should look like this table I have to repeat these steps, first calculating the balance moment and then the carry over moment unitl I get zeros in all rows ... and then calculate the final moment by adding all the moments in each joint. Like this table :  Can you show me how to do that in the attached sheet ?Thanks Yusra

I tried converting the range into a vector and making the data unitless but I am getting an error. Looks like this problem has been asked a lot of times but there is no simplier way to do it

To allow for a graceful degradation of services, users who are allotted to use a Concurrent (Basic/Full) license but can't log in because the license pool is full should automatically get a login done with Collaborator license so they can at least have read only access.This also serves as a graceful reminder that more full licenses are likely needed without impacting the use of the system much.This functionality could be included in the Manage Licensing app that has support for CodeBeamer as of June 2025.

In Manufacturing Associative Product Structure Browser (MAPSB), Can we not copy Assigned Usage Expressions/Line number when user Cut (or Copy) and Paste objects in the Downstream tab to restructure the MBOM. I try to review <Windchill_Home>\codebase\com\ptc\windchill\mpml\xconfs\mpmlink.properties.xconf. But only find the information relate with FindNumber.Need your help. 

HiAs we know, by default Creo shows edges of quilds (surfaces) in pink on drawings. A Creo user can change the quild display colour on his/her machine through the Creo display settings (Options > System appearance>Global colors), but that doesn't affect how other users see that same drawing (other users will still see those edges in pink).I would like to find a way how to set the colours of quild edges in my drawing views. I am happy to set colours for all lines on each affected drawing view if that's required.However, when aiming to set the "Line Style" (Creo drawing: Layout tab > Format section>Line Style>Modify Lines) I can't select any quilds. The selection filter is showing "All" but Creo doesn't pick up the quild edges (when I hover the mouse over the quilds, it just doesn't pick up anything).So the question - how can I change the colour of those quild edges?Please let mw know if any screenshots / screen video recordings would be helpfulThank you

But I think this should be a bug or the "spec" is wrong. I am also a Product Manager in this area so the combined rights should allow me to see this report. What do you think? Force the issue with PTC or replace their filter to make the logic take into account a user being in both roles.  Tell me I am wrong but I see no issue to make users Guest to allow all people to see content but then add them again as a member or other role to elevate their rights to allow create and update.   

I have an external MES tool. Aside from static images, I would like to leverage Creo View annotations (including animations) to show step by step procedures. I know I could take the thumbnail annotation images and make it a URL back to Windchill. I can see exporting and importing a PVZ file into the MES tool as an attachment.  What would be really neat would be to have Creo View display in the browser like the Structure visualization tab. This way, the user can remain in the MES page for their operations but have a large graphics windows rendering the annotation set via Creo View webgl. Has anyone done some or all of this?
