I had set up a table that contains the repeat region. I could have the balloons shown by ALL, BY VIEW, BY COMP, BY COMP & VIEW but not By Record. Creo prompts "Select a bulk or included item record from the BOM table.", but as I click on any single item in the table, nothing shows up and nothing changes.   Also, as an equivalent of this feature, the toolkit API function: ProBomballoonByRecordCreate() keep returning an error saying "PRO_TK_BAD_INPUTS - One or more of the input arguments are invalid."     Does anyone here have a clue how use this feature? I there a way to stop a service from executing without restarting tomcat?

The templates are sill available in the admingui, but I can not find the menu entry!?

When Exporting to DWG:   1) If the export is a drawing of an "Assembly" the scaling is fine ( geometry,dim, etc...)   2) The Problem:  If the export is a drawing of a "Part" within the assembly something happens:   The dimensions export to the correct value, but the geometry seems to be randomly scaled to some whole number multiple value of the actual part geometry.  I currently deal with this issue by scaling everything by the inverse of that value, and then scale dimensions by the value.   Is there a way to avoid these extra steps?   Thanks.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Using PE and print composer to publish pdfs. It is much quicker to use "print preview" but this is no longer an option since switching to DITA. Are there settings that will improve the time to create the DITA pdfs? The other issue we have is that when the pdf finally appears, if we make further changes to the xml, then we need to close the current pdf so that a new pdf can be created with the changes. Annoying and time consuming. Is there a way to keep the pdf window open and refresh with the revised content? Thanks

Is it just me, or has anybody else noticed that it is not possible to seperate out the emails for the checkout and checkin transactions using Rules in Microsoft Outlook?  How can I accomplish this?  I think I need the event category split up for the two transactions instead of having Check Out/Check In as one checkbox event.I want to delete the Check Out transaction events or ignore them...it's the checkin that I want to be notified on.  Note: Outlook doesn't recognize the ":" in searches or rules.  There is no way to execute a rule based on "Event: Check In" which is the obvious solution to this problem.

Hello. I've been working with the API for an integration I am developing. I have read through the Integration Builder's Guide fairly closely. This mostly documents the commands, rather than the available options. I am trying to do a simple im issues command and add an option to specify the type to return like so:cmd.addOption(new Option("type", typeName));I found an example in another post on here where the poster was using "type" as an option successfully, but when I attempt this, there is an exception:com.mks.api.response.InvalidCommandOptionException: im: MKS124819: Invalid option: "type"Edit: I would be perfectly comfortable with a query that just simply returned all of the Integrity items that I could filter after the fact, depending on their types. The "im issues" command always seems to require an item ID, as I get an error indicating that when I run just "im issues". I just need a command that will return all Integrity items.:Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

We need to show some tooling pins in a detailed view but they are just clutter in a parent view. Sketching them is a stupid work around.The other stupid work around is to make the detailed view a general view and add the detail call out separately.These represent stupid work-arounds - SWADoes anyone know a way to control layers independently in a detailed view?

I have recently began adding in organization-level security to my Things.  I have setup the users, usergroups, and organizations, and assigned those to the Masters, Mashups, Streams, Thing Shapes, and Things.  Upon user login, all of the data comes up the way it should (according to permissions), however the format of the Master and Mashup has vanished.  No button color, no gauge color, and no colors on the graph or labels.  Everything is black and white now.  Have I missed something?  Any help would be highly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I have an inexplicable problem. It makes no sense at all. I have an assembly drawing with a repeat region table, one based on a template I have used for years, and it is returning the wrong value for one component of the assembly in the "&rpt.qty" column. I have quadruple checked. The assembly has only one of these components in it but is showing up as 2 in the table. I have 4 other very similar assembly drawings and they show one of the component.When I do an Info>Bill of Materials  I get one. I pull in a new table from my standard template and it shows up 2. Creo 3, M060I'm trying to recreate our print mapkeys to work with the new Creo 3 preview.In drawing mode, if I select:File > Print > Settings > [pick correct PCF] > OK > Preview > PrintThe preview looks right, the Windows print dialog appears and I get the output I desire at the printer.  If I record those steps as a mapkey, however, and run it, Creo zooms into the preview prior to calling up the Windows print dialog and it appears as though the print will be wrong.  The actual output to the printer is correct however.  To the user, it looks like it will be wrong and they will likely cancel instead of printing and I'll get called to fix something that isn't actually broken.If I remove the "Print" selection from the mapkey, it works.  Of course, that adds another step and the user may sit and wait, expecting (as it did in Creo 2 and earlier) the Windows print dialog to appear.It seems to effect prints based no zoom more than full prints, although I'

I'm working on modeling some components of a lawnmower assembly, and the part I'm currently doing is the blade. I need to bend a portion of it down at an angle, but I'm having a hard time figuring out a way for that be done. I've attached a screenshot with the needed area to be bent circled in blue. How do I get access to the knowledge base and other resources?  I get a nice list of hits in the search but then get an "Access Denied - Insufficient Privileges" message when I try to access the information.Regards.

I'm working with colleagues who are using AutoCAD and one of their uses is to have building floor layouts with projected top-down views of the footprint of desks and equipment.I have modelled a set of desks in Creo and need to figure out the easiest way of creating a DXF footprint.Is there an automated way of doing this? Hi,We create a CAD Part in Creo and its corrosponding Drawing in Creo. Then we Check both of them into Windcill with Auto Association, so a WTPart corrosponding to them gets created. We need the URL of the Drawing which we created in Creo.We just need UL so that we can open it in Creo View.We tried using UIHelper.getLaunchProductView but gives us the URL of CAD Part.We also tried using WVSContentHelper.getDownloadURL but it is giving us 5-6 URL links (which has Partnumber. jpg/log/ol/pvs/plt/pvt/pvm as extensions) but we need only one and that too that of Drawing.Please suggest how to do this.

i had been using PROE Student Edition4 since 7/2010 with no problems on a Lenovo T400.In 2014 i installed a trial version of Creo Elements which apparently expired recently.
