Greetings,I have a family table where text on the part is defined by a parameter.There are several instances but now I want to add one where the text is blank.I have tried putting a space character in the family table but when it is regenerated it shows as three asterisks (***).Is there a special code for showing a "blank".MikeThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. In the attached worksheet there is a plot error (Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaN by real numbers.) I've tried using failterNaN to remove the NaNs. Is there a way to remove the complex results?

Dear PTC experts, i would like to ask your invaluable pertinent to the attached file. In this problem, i am evaluating Zpq for a frequency (f:=2.45*10^9), the value of Zpq turns out to be complex and i have seperated the real and imaginary parts. I would further like to evaluate Zpq for a frequency range i.e., from 2.2*10^9-2.6*10^9 with step size of 0.5*10^9. Moreover, i would like to plot Zpq against the mentioned frequency range. Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated. Many thanks

I'm trying to add a decal to the surface of a model and the tutorials I have seen look pretty straight forward so I'm not sure whats wrong. The surface will change colors (rest of the model is black, it goes to gray when applying the decal). Hello everyone!   This problem has been a pain for me. Apparently when you try to modify or reassemble a component that you inserted at the beginning of the assembly, the software "forgets" the most recent components.   I need to assemble an older component with a newer one and in order to do this, obviously I need both. hey lads, attached is my picture again. I cant post the sheet due to certain calculations. And my main problem is that I am using global assignment for definition as I needed to show a summary of checks from the back of the sheet at the front page. My main problem is if I could global assign the angle that I used the FIND function to calculate. The blue highlighted area are the parts where I have to manually input the angle. I want to global assign so that the next user does not need to manually insert the angle.

I am trying to create a tapped hole and following the user's guide of toolkit. The error I got after compiling my code is: "PRO_HLE_CR_DIR : undeclared identifier" How can this problem be solved? I have two similar parts, so I made a second part by modifiying the existing part. I changed the name and saved it. Now when I load the part, it doesn't load as modified. It loads as the part if was made from. However, if I load the modified part first, then the part I made it from won't load, but loads as the part I modified. There's some kind of reference conflict.I don't want to make the new part from scratch. Happy Monday all!I have an assembly drawing with a repeat region table. Three of the components are bulk items, which represent adhesives used in the assembly. In this situation our practice is to call out the volume used. See the pic below. The table on the right shows the old table, which was just dumb text, and which I am in the process of replacing with the parametric one on the left. Trouble is of course,  "rpt.qty" has to return an integer value.Does anyone know how to override this value? I tried it by adding it as 3 text rows and of course I have to add the item number as text as well, and then it doesn't sort it amongst the other rows in the table, because the other item numbers are integer parameters read from the components. Hello, i'm new in using Mathcad, i just need to solve 8 equations with 8 unknowns(sound simple),but i don't know the right syntax to get the output, i tried several ones that i found in the help and tutorial but none is working, some syntax gives me my initial guess as the output and other syntax does nothing.still the problem isn't only the syntax, i have no clue what should be the initial guess the solution is either very large or very small ( Pico or Giga maybe larger or smaller even), so is Mathcad able to solve such thing?below is the attached worksheet. How do I get the PTC Windchill printer to work?  I try to print to a file, but I get an error message that says "Printer not activated, error code -30"

We're starting to use the Windows explorer integration of DTI and several users find this much more user friendly than the web interface. However, we'd like to know if it's possible to configure DTI to show only the latest versions in Explorer as opposed to the default behavior which is to show all versions.Thanks!Patrick Dubois

Normally recursive function can be evaluate symbolically without problems, likeBut it looks that the symbolics has troubles with the sum - I get the "generic" variable-undefined error at first hand and when I trace, Mathcad moans that "This function refers to itself inconsistently".As far as I remember this effect was discussed here quite a while ago in the good old collab days, but I was unable to find that thread.Is there any explanation for this effect and does an elegant workaround exist?The only workaround I could find was to replace the sum by a self written summation loop, which I don't consider elegant.Writing a user function sum() in som way could be an option, but would slow down calculations which, when evaluated symbolically, take very long anyway.RegardsWerner

We have a vendor that we wish to share an assembly model with to do some analysis work. We use Creo 3.0 and they use Creo 2.0. All of the model material properties have been set and we would like to retain those in the models we give them.
